“It does not make any sense!” The youngLuna sat at the bar side, stunned. If she hadn’t heard Petra say what she had in the restroom, she would have called her mate insane for suspecting his previously dead Beta of being the spy. But she also felt dumb right now.

‘Orion has known Zander and I since we were children. He is well aware of our strengths and weaknesses as a former close friend and Beta. He knows all of the pack’s secrets, including the location of that sealed prison door. Seeing as Orion had been fully aware of how much they enraged us in the past, he may have simply agitated the Head Warrior and his brother into working with him.

Also, he is well aware of our territory’s terrain, so he could simply slaughter our people in the woods then mix in with our pack members as if nothing had happened.

The most important fact is that Orion was a hybrid! He was the only first and last hybrid in our pack that we allowed membership. Now l realize how foolish we’ve been! That filthy mutt is taking his vengeance on us!”

‘But did you not say that he was beheaded?’ Adira questioned.

We had ordered a group of warriors to behead him. I had immediately abandoned the pack and went for a run through the woods to appease my wolf. I had just completed a rejection, I went insane. I could have killed anyone, so l opted to escape.

They cleverly created an empty grave by pouring just soil into it then sent word to us that the order had been executed. But in reality, our Beta had Been sáfely removed from the pack.

When he disguised himself again to join our pack he sought the assistance of the same people, who had no idea they were feeding a snake.

Orion killed them in the end since their existence posed a threat to him as they could easily reveal his ident!ty,’ the younger Alpha explained, feeling a sense of rage rising in his blood.

We need to change the plan! Iris’ wedding is tomorrowmórning at 10:00 AM. It cannot be disrupted in any way. We now know who the spy is: Orion. So we must discover under what guise he is living among us, Xavier remarked.

‘Sounds difficult. You’d hardly believe it, but I ran into him in the ladies room with Petra. No, he did not reveal himself He kept his scent and even his heartbeat, concealed from my wolf’s perception.

‘Yes, I met that mysterious man in the temple,’ she replied, then looked at the curious eyes of her mate who was more focused on her than the road he was driving on. She decided to tell the whole story before her mate became jealous again.

A year and a half ago, my mom was injured in an attack. It was just a random rogue attack. It was just a random rogue attack but an insane wolf had broken the bones in my Mom’s foot that her wolf was unable to heal.

Dad could not bear to see her in pain so he decided to send Mom to the Wizard Temple so that she could receive the best treatment. As an Alpha, he had to stay with the pack but I accompanied Mom to the Temple, which when I met Orion.

He helped me with getting our belongings settled in the room and we became friends. Now I have learned that he had given me a fake name, she let out a little chuckle while shaking his head.

I still remember that half of his face had been covered with bandages. I was cursing the people who had beaten him so badly.’ she let out a small chuckle hearing everyone else laughing too. Kiara sipped another drink ignoring the bartender.

We spent a lot of time together as he had no family members there with him. Maybe it was just my misunderstanding. But we never met in the evening or at night. He used to disappear at those times.

When l asked him about it he said that it was when he received his treatments. The month passed by and mom has nearly recovered as well as Orion. Then one day he just disappeared. Honestly, I was worried about him.

Two days later, when I was completing mom’s discharge paperwork, I saw a man exiting the Temple and walking towards a large car. I called his name as I had recognized him even though his back was turned towards me.

He turned his face towards me with a charming smile, it was the first time I saw exactly what he looked like. He was far away in the distance bụt I could tell he was handsome.

Before sitting in the car he mouthed the words, to wait for him, He would be back for me. I watched his car pull away, and then we never crossed paths again. That same day I had left for the Ardara Moon Pack,” she completed her story.

“Why does it sound like a love story about two separated lovers?”

Zander narrowed his eyes on his mate who rolled her eyes in response. So he had only listened to the part where Orion was possessive of her and ignored all the other information?

I am not returning the pack until I find out who Orion is among us, so l have come to the Temple with Adira. They must have an idea about something that could help us to find Orion,’ he replied, stopping the car in front of the Temple.

You can’t mind-link each other in Wizard Temple,’ Adira interrupted the twins as she held Zander’s hand preventing him from entering the building that was going to cause him breaking to his mind-link with Kiara and Xavier.

Zander, we have to wait since the Prime Priest is away on treating Someone. It will take some time for him to come back, so we need to wait for his return, Adira walked back to her mate.

He glanced down at his watch. It was already past 11 PM. Due to the fact that he hadn’t seen his sweetheart in hours, the Alpha’s heart was racing slower than usual. Dean had been whining like a child.

Kiaden asked Tyler and Lena to leave with the other pack members. Someone needed to keep an eye on Petra on the way to the pack so the Gamma couple was responsible for that.

Everyone had left except for the responsible Beta who had stayed behind as it was time for him to drive his Luna back to the pack. Kaiden pulled out his eyes and turned his head towards where Kiara had

been sitting a moment ago, mind-linking to Xavier, but now that seat was empty.

Kiade glared at the others, turning his eyes back to his Luna, only to find that human men were dancing with her.

“Why? Is she your girlfriend?” One of them demanded, pulling Kiara closer to him.

“She is my sister-in-law! Now fvckoff!” Kiaden barked, pulling his Luna closer to him.

These humans had no idea who they were touching was basically signing their death warrant.

“Why? I want to dance. Let me go!” She shrieked, wriggling in his hold.

“If you don’t want to join me, then leave me alone. I want to stay here the whole night,” she smiled, dancing alone like crazy. She had been totally unaware of how and where the other men had been touching her.

Kaiden could not stop Kiara as he could not go against her order, but he was keeping every male away who had been trying to get their dirty hands on her.
