Alpha’s Other Halfs

Trying so hard to keep them safe, I discovered that Eric, wasn’t the only threat. Greeta is there too. She has always longed for revenge for her mothers death. And she will stop at nothing till she hurts someone related to us.

I will do what ever it takes to make sure she doesn’t get to them.

~before now~

After the attack at home, I got hurt badly that I could not move. I lost consciousness. When I regained consciousness, I realized everyone was dead. The thought of Jaden filled my mind. I wanted to know if he was alright. I never wanted to use magic but right now it is required. I used the location spell and found Jaden lying helplessly on the ground. I wondered how to help him because I was seriously injured. Right then I noticed that Rhea wasn’t that far away from him. So I called out to her for help. Luckily for me, she helped him. And ever sicnce then I’ve guided and watched them from where I was to keep them safe till they get to their father. Luckily for them, they both got to meet Lucy their sister and later on their father. I was happy but at the same time sad and angry knowing that someone like Greeta was also after them. And knowing that she killed my mother got me even angrier.

I was a bit relieved when they met their father. I knew he would do anything to keep them safe for now. Sooner or later, I will have to show myself but I have to lay low for now and help them from afar.

~Rhea’s POV~

I woke in the morning and found Lucy’s arms wrapped around me. I’ve never shared bed with anyone except my mother whom I recently found out that she wasn’t my real mother. I wanted to remove her Jan but for some reason it felt okay for her hand to be there. I wondered what life was for her. Now that I’ve met my family, I’m never letting them go. The thought of what the lady said to me came repeating in my head. Still wondering who she was, a hand snapped in front of me.

“Good Morning ” Lucy said

“Good Morning ” I replied

“Let’s get ready we have a long day ahead of us” she said as she jumped out of the bed straight to the bathroom.

A smile escaped my lips. As I watched her walked to the bathroom. I felt so happy that I laid back on the bed and close my eyes.

“Come on, get up” she yelled

I opened my eyes and found her in the room with a towel tied around her chest. She was already done taken her bath, I didn’t realise how long I laid down. I stood up and went straight to the bathroom and took my bath. Soon after we were done, we went straight to the dinning and found Jaden and father already spotted and laughing about something. Lucy and I quickly sat down.

“What are you guys talking about?” Lucy asked

“Nothing” Jaden answered still laughing

“Come on, tell us” Lucy asked again

“Nothing really, just that you girls took like a whole year to come down” he said as they both busted into laughter.

“Son, you know, your mother always made me wait for her all the time though I enjoyed waiting for her. Everytime I watched her walked down the stairs, my heart always melts. It always felt as if I was meeting her for the first time. And each day, I always fell in love with her. I wished she was here with us right now. She would be very happy” he said as I saw a tear roll down his cheeks and he immediately wiped it off.

“Alright, eat up. Let’s not start the day with a sad memory” he added as we all ate our food. Jaden barely even tooluched his food but Lucy finished everything in her plate and asked for more.

“By the way father, who is the eldest?” Lucy asked as Jaden choked on the food he just put in his mouth.

“Are you serious right now, I mean, isn’t it obvious. I’m the eldest of course” Jaden said in a boastful manner as father chuckled

“No, you can’t be. I think you are the youngest.” Lucy said teasingly.

“Haha, well I’m the eldest deal with it” Jaden said

“Father, tell him the truth so that he won’t be that proud” Lucy said trying to mock Jaden

“Well, Rhea is the eldest, followed by…” Father said

“Followeby who?” Lucy asked desperately wanting to know who’s the eldest between her and Jaden

Jaden on the other hand was eager to hear what father has to say

“We will talk about that later” father said

Jaden and Lucy felt very disappointed. Father and I laughed at the both of them. Seeing tease each other made us laugh.

“What I know is that, I am older than you.” Jaden said making a funny face to Lucy.

Lucy on the other hand stock out her tongue to Jaden making a funny face.

After eating, Jaden and father left to his chambers and Lucy and I decided to take a walk around the house.

“Lucy, I can remember the lady’s face” I said as I saw a paper and pencil.

“And I can try to sketch it.” I added as I took the paper and pencil to try and sketch her face.

I started sketching and Lucy just stood beside me an watched. It took me time but at last I got to finish the sketch.

“Here, that’s the woman” I said

“Are you sure she’s the one?” Lucy asked

“Yes, I’m sure of it.” I replied.

Lucy stared at the picture for a while before it was snatched out of her hands.

“Hey, little brother” Lucy yelled

“Little brother? You are the younger one so quit calling me that” Jaden said

“By the way what’s this that you both are so tensed about” Jaden said as he looked at the picture

“Give it back” I said but then realise that something about Jaden changed immediately he saw the sketch.

“Where did you get this?” He asked

“Rhea just sketched it right now before you snatched it away” Lucy said

“Actually, this might sound crazy but this woman has been talking to me lately and also the night that I saved you, she was the one that asked me to” I said

“And right now, she is…” I tried to let him know about her last message before he interrupted

“This is my mother. This is our mother” Jaden said as Lucy and I stared at each other.

“Are you sure about this?” Lucy asked

“Yes, I’m sure” he said as father walked in.

He took the sketch and asked

“What’s going on, where and how did you get this?”

“She has been talking to me” I added

Father looked at me and walked closer.

“What did she say?” He asked

“She said that we should all stick together with you that it’s the only way to stay alive for now. She said that a powerful witch is out their hunting for us right now.” I said

“She was trying to warn us about the danger ahead of us” I added

“Is she still alive?” Father asked

“I don’t really know but she seemed so.” I replied

“But she looks really hurt. I tried helping her but she wouldn’t let me.” I added

“Try connecting back to her, maybe we can get her location from there” father ordered

“Okay” I replied

“No wonder she was able to get into your head because she is your bloodline” Lucy said.
