After divorce, Ex-wife Revealed Identities

Chapter 851

Chapter 851

Sylvia's long hair fell loosely on her shoulders. Her delicate lips were slightly pursed, and her almond-

shaped face was accentuated by long, thick lashes that fluttered as she spoke. "You helped me today,

and I won't forget it," she said.

Adriel couldn't describe the emotions he felt at that moment. How could he refuse Sylvia when she

spoke like that? Besides, in his heart, Sylvia was no different from his daughter.

"Sylvia, we can use this invitation to solidify our relationship. Is Franklin going too?"

"Yes, we're going together." Sylvia nodded and took off her coat since the room was getting hot. She

wore a black knit top underneath which hugged her curves perfectly. The black color made her fair skin

look even more radiant.

"Then I'll leave it to you, Adriel," Sylvia said with a smile on her lips while looking at him with an

expression of deep thoughtfulness in her eyes. "Your son has great power; if there's an opportunity for

us to collaborate, it would be beneficial."

Adriel raised his eyebrows as he looked at Sylvia's perfect face and replied teasingly, "Sylvia, your

ability to think ten steps ahead is truly impressive."

"Compared to your son, I am nothing," replied Sylvia nonchalantly.

Adriel chuckled before saying, "He may be reckless but even so he refuses to come back and take

over the company."

Although Adriel tried hard not show any pride on his face, it still shone through ever so slightly.

"After everything is settled, please inform me," said Sylvia standing up gracefully, while picking up the

coat from the sofa elegantly as well. Every movement seemed effortless yet refined. "I'll take my leave

now."

"Sylvia... wait..." Adriel quickly stopped her after hesitating for a moment and continued, "Actually, there

are some things I'd like to discuss with you..."

"Hmm?" asked Sylvia indifferently while giving him a quick glance.

Adriel looked embarrassed yet helpless before finally speaking after taking some time. "My company

performance has been declining recently... so I wanted your advice on how we can improve our sales

strategy..."

A faint smile appeared on Sylvia's lips as she replied confidently, "Give me all your reports including

this quarter's sales figures along with your marketing plan... and then leave everything else up to me."

With that being said, she casually threw aside the coat once again without putting it back on, and sat

down behind Adriel's desk, readying herself for work.

Adriel quickly called his subordinates upon hearing this, "Hurry up and bring me everything Sylvia just

mentioned."

The subordinate was confused and didn't understand why the CEO was so impatient. However, he

didn't dare to delay and immediately gathered the items before rushing into Adriel's office with his

assistant.

"Sir, here are the things you wanted," he said.

"Hurry up and give them to Miss Andrews for her review," Adriel ordered in a deep voice. His tone also

carried a hint of urgency as if afraid that Sylvia might run away.

The subordinate was shocked as he stared at Sylvia sitting on the CEO's chair.

How could she sit in the CEO's position?

His eyes were almost popping out of his sockets. The CEO's position wasn't something anyone could

just sit on!

Could it be... Could she really be Jess?

So Jess himself had to review the company's financial statements?

This... This is too scary!

The manager stood there dazedly while Adriel glared at him, "Why aren't you leaving?"

What are you doing standing here like a statue?

The manager quickly turned around to leave but Sylvia stopped him, "You don't have to go out. I have

some questions I want to discuss with you."

As she spoke, Sylvia pointed at the promotional plan and said, "Why use this plan? It has more

drawbacks than benefits..."

"The first reason for declining sales is that all first-time buyers have purchased computers within one or

two years ago. They may not buy new ones anytime soon. We need to broaden our sales strategy by

targeting new buyer groups instead of relying solely on old customers for promotion and sales..."

The manager stared blankly at Sylvia's opening-and-closing red lips...

This... sounds quite professional?

"What are you staring at?" frowned Sylvia. "Where are our company analysts? Are they just freeloaders

who don't do anything? Don't they understand such basic principles?"

"Well... no, they've mentioned it," replied the manager softly but several older managers thought what

they said was wrong so they rejected it directly.

That's why we ended up in this situation now...

Adriel snorted," Why didn't anyone report this issue back then so that I could make decisions?"

"But... didn't you delegate all the power?" The manager was close to tears. Why did he have to discuss

such a tricky issue with the chairman and this young woman here?

Also, he couldn't help but wonder if she was Jess.

"Okay, talking about that won't help now. Let's change our marketing plan and target a different

consumer group." Sylvia flipped through some files. "As consumers accumulate more electronic

devices at home, their demand for computers will decrease. Online courses have become very popular

in recent years, so we can consider shifting our focus to producing more tablets or learning machines."

Although Crown Techs Group already had tablets and learning machines as sideline products, they had

never been produced or sold as main products.

"We've always focused on selling finished computers and laptops!" The manager looked surprised at

Sylvia's decision made so easily.

He then turned to Adriel. "Sir..."

"Sylvia has good vision," Adriel nodded approvingly. "I've thought about this before but haven't

discussed it with you yet. Do you think it's also a good idea to increase production of tablets and

learning machines?"

Sylvia tapped her fingers lightly on the table while thinking aloud, "Yes, online courses are very popular

now, especially those language-learning apps. Where there is demand, there are customers; using

mobile phones is certainly possible but phone screens are too small which can harm children's

eyesight over time. We could develop an eye protection mode on the screen."

"Eye protection mode... that's a great idea!" Adriel became more enthusiastic as he thought about it

further."We must develop this technology; we cannot ruin children's eyesight!"

The manager stared blankly at what just happened.

Then he was shocked again when Sylvia stood up once more; before she even reached the sofa Adriel

had taken his coat off first and handed it over to her, "Sylvia, aren't you staying for a while longer?"

Adriel sounded inquisitive, "How about having lunch with us?"

Sylvia checked her watch,"No, thanks, I have something else."

"That's fine. I'll walk you out then."

And they walked out one after another.

The manager watched in shock as Adriel opened the door himself for Sylvia first before following them

out later.

"Damn! Did the chairman personally open the door for her?" He quickly followed, thinking that if even

the chairman was licking her boots, he had to as well.

So he hurriedly caught up to them at the elevator where Sylvia was still talking with Adriel. The

manager had already sprinted over and pressed the elevator button. "Miss Andrews, please."

How could they bother the chairman and Miss Andrews with such a small matter as pressing an

elevator button?

Both Sylvia and Adriel were speechless.

This guy moved too fast on his own agenda. What was he going to do now that it was done?

The elevator doors opened and Sylvia stepped in before speaking again, "Uncle Adriel, don't forget

about my matter."

"Don't worry, how can I not handle such a small thing? Wait for my good news," Adriel immediately

replied while waving at Sylvia. "Is me someone who can't be trusted?"

Sylvia raised an eyebrow but didn't say anything.

The elevator doors slowly closed and her stunning face disappeared from view in front of Adriel and the

manager.

The manager cautiously glanced at Adriel's face which had returned to its serious expression before

swallowing nervously. He wanted to ask but didn't dare.

"A... a god?" The manager widened his mouth in shock; it could almost fit an egg inside it. "You mean...

she really is..."

Jess...

It really was Jess...

Wait a minute - Franklin? Wasn't he Maskelyne Group's CEO who always trended online?

Was this Mrs. Maskelyne whose real-life appearance looked much better than any edited photo?

She didn't need editing – she looked better than any edited photo!

Sylvia got out of the elevator directly onto her car.

Although she only went two places this morning, she still felt tired.

Franklin was handling business affairs inside MI6, so Sylvia leaned her head against her seat, while

saying, "Let's go back to MI6."

"Okay," Jasper responded before starting up their car.

MI6 wasn't just big; it also had artificial lakes along with winding corridors full of flowers gardens

etcetera.

All of their cleaning staff were currently clearing snow outside though.

"Do you understand what I mean?"

"Everything will be done as I said."

The person on the other end of the phone nodded repeatedly. "Yes, yes, don't worry. I'll do it as

instructed."

Sylvia raised an eyebrow. "What? Are you hiding something from me?"

Franklin hung up and put his phone away before turning his eyes towards her.
