Chapter 313 Keep a Low Profile

Thirty minutes later, Robert arrived at the Mu clan's villa. He hesitated by the entrance. He wanted to

barge in and confront Charles, but deep down inside, he didn't feel that it was appropriate to do so.

Robert noticed that whenever he dealt with issues related to Linda, he became unreasonably reckless.

He knew his brother's intentions and understood that Adam had only wanted him to be happy.

Throughout the years, his younger brother had tried hard to help make his dream come true.

bother to come here and see Linda?

"How are you, Linda? Did Charles hurt you? Don't worry. I am right outside of the Mu clan's villa."

Lisa paused when she heard his words. How come he was right outside of her house? She had only

called him two seconds ago!

It suddenly occurred to her that Adam was behind this.

He must have tricked his brother into coming here.

He knew that Lisa was in love with Charles and that she would go against him and try her best to stay

with Charles.

Adam had figured out that Charles no longer wanted Lisa, so her staying with Charles was pointless.

He would rather have her by Robert's side to please him.

Also, he could use her betrayal to humiliate Charles. Nothing pleased him more than seeing Charles's

Lisa sighed deeply as she thought about Adam and his evil plans.

What a big fool she was! She thought she had made a good deal with Adam, but it turned out that she

captive in the villa by Charles."

Robert was utterly stunned by her words. He thought they might have had a big fight over something

stupid, but it turned out that she was literally held hostage inside the house by him.

"I don't understand. Why did Charles ground you?"

Lisa's voice became weaker as she started sobbing harder, "I failed to keep the child. After the

miscarriage, the doctor said the chance of me conceiving again is quite slim. Therefore, he..."

'What a bastard! How dare he do this to you? How dare he even say that he loves you and wishes to

share his life with you? What a load of bullshit!' thought Robert angrily.

However, he remained calm on the surface. He would never swear in front of Linda.

"Don't be scared. Tell me where you are now, " Robert patiently comforted her.

"I am in the Mu clan's villa. In the bedroom. There are so many guards outside the door. I simply can't

get out."

"Don't worry, Linda. I am coming in right now. I will help you out in no time."

Robert thought for a while as to what he should do next. He could not just recklessly barge into the

villa. The guards would take him down and send him to Charles. It would only make Linda's situation

worse. By then, Charles would double the security and make it even harder for her to escape.

Therefore, he needed to be discreet and help her sneak out without being noticed.

Robert needed to act cautiously. He could not fail Adam's plan of humiliating Charles.

If he was caught redhanded when helping Linda escape, he would get himself into unnecessary

troubles. People would blame him for trying to seduce Charles's lover.

Lisa could tell that Adam was very fond of his elder brother. Under no circumstances would he hurt his
