Chapter 312 Linda Had a Miscarriage

working hard recently, keeping himself busy just to get over her. But his plan was clearly not working.

Her face constantly haunted him whenever he was idle.

"Brother, don't say that. How do you know that you can't get the woman you love? As I have told you

multiple times before, you must strive for the things you truly desire." Adam put down his plate and

"I have no intentions of ruining her relationship with Charles. I have contemplated about this matter,

Robert raised his eyebrow at Adam's words and asked, "What do you mean?"

Charles Mu hasn't been home for over a week."

Robert was furious at the news. He banged on the table and snapped, "How dare he! Linda is pregnant

continue or not. You reacted violently when I told you about Charles not going home to Linda. I am

afraid if I tell you more about their situation, you would go after her yourself."

"What about her?"

Robert suddenly had a hunch that something bad had happened to Linda.

"I heard that Linda had a miscarriage..."

"Miscarriage? How is that even possible? How come I didn't know about it?"

understand that you don't wish to interfere with others' relationships. But things are different now, I want

you to strive for your happiness. So... apparently, Linda is living a miserable life!"

"Adam, where are you getting all these information? Are you sure they are reliable?" Deep down,

Robert refused to believe what he had just heard. He hoped that Linda was happy with Charles, and

none of these horrible things happened. Her misery made his heart ache.

A bitter smile spread over Adam's face. He looked at his brother and solemnly said, "If I was able to get

the information, I am sure you can get the same information if you try. Why don't you look into it

yourself and verify my words? With your skills and connections, surely you can find out more details

about her."

All he knew was that his younger brother was innocent and harmless. He felt obligated to protect him.

"Adam, let bygones be bygones. He was young when he made the mistake. He had no intention to hurt

you in the first place. We can't possibly blame him for..."

"Brother, I don't know what to say. Whether he hurt me on purpose or not, I don't know. But because of

Charles, I have lost one of my eyes, and I am no longer capable of having my own child. I abhor him.

As my only brother, are you going to avenge me or not?"

Robert looked up, but he found nothing suspicious in Adam's eye. His expression quickly changed.

Right now, Adam profoundly grinned at him as if he were still the same innocent boy he had always

known.

Robert lovingly stroked Adam's head and said, "I am sorry for your suffering all these years, Adam. It

was my bad."

"Don't worry, Brother. I know how you feel. Please get back at Charles, for Linda's sake and for my

sake. I really want to have a sister-in-law like Linda. Go to the Mu clan and confront Linda yourself. It's

Robert nodded. Then, he took his coat and set out.

He went to the parking lot and found his car. There are so many questions he needed to ask her in
