Your Love Is My Weapon

Chapter 404

Chapter 404

Arya shook her head.

Bridget was confused. "Did she ask you to name the child?"

Arya looked at the child. "I haven't decided yet. After all, the name will be with the child for the rest of

his life."

Arya was looking for someone to name the child. She was not good at it, and she didn't know if there

were any rules or taboos about names.

"Sister-in-law, how about Max?" Bridget blurted out.

"It sounds great." Bridget looked up at Arya and even pleaded, "Is that okay?"

Arya looked at Bridget quietly for a few seconds and finally nodded. "But Bridget, I think of him as my

own child. I hope you can also treat him the way you treat Ryan and Ramona."

"Of course, sister-in-law. Jasper and I were not getting along well, that's right. But he's gone, and I

absolutely won't take it out on the child."

Arya didn't mean anything else. She just didn't want the child to suffer.

"Bridget, don't think too much. I don't mean anything else. After all, he lost his father..." And his

biological mother...

Arya didn't want the child to suffer any grievances.

Bridget lowered her head and teased Max. "Max, do you like this name?"

At this moment, Bridget looked like a kind mother.

Perhaps it was because she was pregnant once.

Thinking of her and Jacob, Arya's mood became complicated.

"Bridget, did you hear us talking in the study that day?" This is from NôvelDrama.Org.

"When? What did you say?" Bridget asked, pretending to be confused.

Bridget was obviously unwilling to say it.

Arya sighed. "Marriage is no joke. You have to think it through yourself."

It would be too hasty to make such a decision because of some external factors.

"Don't worry, sister-in-law. Jacob is not married. I'm single. We've thought it through. Don't worry about

it."

Since Bridget had said so, Arya couldn't say more.

"Mommy." Ryan hopped over and saw Bridget holding the baby in her arms. He looked up and said,

"Aunt, who is he?"

Bridget looked at Ryan and rubbed his hair. "From now on, he will be your younger brother."

Ryan seemed to have heard something incredible, and turned to look at Arya to seek confirmation.

Arya put Ryan on her lap and told him seriously, "Yeah. You are the eldest brother. You have to take

good care of your siblings. Can you do it?"

Ryan nodded vigorously. "Of course."

He behaved so confidently.

Arya lowered her head and kissed his hair. "Ryan has grown up."

Arya didn't notice anything on Ryan's neck before, but now she saw a piece of red jade in his collar.

She took it out and asked. "Why haven't I seen it before?"

"Grandma gave it to me. Little sister got one too." Ryan looked up. "Mommy, don't you know?"

She... didn't know. She didn't pay attention.

It was the first time she had seen it.

"Time for dinner." Nanny Joy stood at the door and called them.

Arya put down Ryan and prepared to take the child from Bridget. "I'll hold him."

She had to tell Daisy and Mr. Jones about it. After all, they had to keep the child at home in the future.

Their agreement was very important.

Bridget refused. "I'll hold him."

She gave Arya a look as if to say that if they didn't agree, she would help convince them.

Arya agreed to let her hold the child and led Ryan into the house.

Bridget stood in the living room and shouted, "Dad, mom, come here."

Daisy frowned. "Time for dinner..."

She was stunned when she saw the child in Bridget's arms. "Isn't this the child that Arya just brought

in? Why didn't his mother take him away?"

"That's what I want to tell you."

Bridget looked at Arya.

Arya led Ryan to the sofa. "Dad, mom, please sit down."

Daisy and Mr. Jones sat together, looking at Bridget and Arya, not sure what they were going to do.

Before Arya spoke, Ryan couldn't wait to say, "Grandpa, grandma, I have a little brother now. Mommy

says that he will be my little brother from now on."

Daisy and Mr. Jones looked at Bridget in an instant and stared at the child in her arms. Daisy's

expression changed, and her face darkened even more.

Her thought was the same as Mr. Jones's when he first saw Janet holding the child.

Could the child be Xavier's son? At the thought that this child had just been born, the child was

probably the son of Xavier.

Daisy thought that's the truth. If the child weren't his son, why would Arya let Ryan call the child little

brother?

Daisy sprang up from the sofa. "No way! We only recognize Ryan and Ramona as the children of our

family!"

Bridget looked at Daisy in surprise. "Mom, what are you talking about? You don't have to tell me that

Ryan and Ramona are..."

"Bridget, take the child away now. Give him back to his family. I only have Arya as my daughter-in-law

in the Jones Family, and we only recognize Arya's children!"

She looked down at Mr. Jones to prove that her words were undeniable. "What's your opinion?"

"I agree with you." Mr. Jones thought the same as Daisy did. Whether the child was Xavier's son or not,

he wouldn't recognize him.

"I only have one grandson, Ryan, and one granddaughter, Ramona." Mr. Jones stood up as he spoke,

and his attitude was very clear.

Bridget was speechless. She finally understood what the two of them meant and what they were angry

about.

"Dad, mom, the child is not my brother's son." Bridget's expression was funny.

What were they thinking?

"Isn't him?" Daisy frowned.

"Of course not." Bridget looked at Daisy, then at Mr. Jones, and said jokingly, "So that's what brother

looks like in your eyes?"

Daisy and Mr. Jones looked at each other. Were they wrong?

"Then who is the father of this child?"

Daisy stared inquiringly at the child in Bridget's arms.

If the child wasn't Xavier's son, why would Arya let Ryan call him little brother?

Daisy was very puzzled.

And there were numerous questions in her mind.

Bridget's face became serious. "This child belongs to Jasper."
