Chapter 347
Chapter 347
Georgina looked at Daisy. "It's you. I thought I mistook you as someone else."
Daisy smiled. "Are you here for shopping too?"
Georgina pressed her lips. "I came out for a walk."
Daisy nodded.
Rufus's engagement was so sensational that everyone knew that she and Rufus had divorced.
Georgina looked at the thing in Daisy's hand. "Did you buy jewelry?"
Daisy couldn't hide the smile on her face when she thought of Ryan and the child to be born. "I bought
it for my grandson."
Georgina's heart sank. Bought it for her grandson?
The son of Arya?
The Taylor Family was secretly investigated because of the incident of the Gates Family, and her father
was also affected by it.
Arya schemed against her and took away the evidence from her hands. Why could she live a happy
life?
Georgina was annoyed.
She planned everything. However, she met her Waterloo.
Not only did she fail to win Xavier's heart, but also lost everything she had before.
She clutched her bag tightly, held back her anger, and forced a smile. "Is that Ryan? The last time I
saw him in the park, he was very cute."
"You've seen him before?" Daisy smiled in surprise. "Yeah, he's so adorable. Now he looks more and
more like Xavier... Well, go on shopping. I'll go first."
Daisy said a lot when she was happy. She knew Georgina and liked her very much in the beginning,
hoping that she could marry Xavier, but her mind had long changed. Now that Xavier and Arya were on
good terms, she also liked Arya. Arya was smart, sensible, and exceptionally considerate.
Georgina smiled and said, "Okay, auntie, goodbye."
Daisy took the bags and walked towards the exit.
The moment Daisy walked out, the fake smile on Georgina's face instantly disappeared.
The manager came over. "Do you know each other?"
"What do you want? I'll introduce you."
Georgina rolled her eyes and looked at the manager. "What did she buy just now?"
"She has a good eye for jewelry. She bought the treasure of our store and took two." The manager
couldn't help but sigh.
Georgina's face darkened even more. "Is it very valuable?"
"Of course." The manager nodded.
"How much is it?" Georgina asked.
"I can't tell you that." The rules of his store didn't allow him to reveal the price of the jewelry they had
sold.
Georgina curled her lips coldly. All the items on the counter cost more than a million dollars. The
treasure of the store must be worth a lot more.
She walked out of the store angrily. She was not in the mood to have a walk. She was driving home.
She was in a bad mood and slammed the steering wheel. "Arya!"
If it weren't for Arya, Daisy's favor would belong to her now.
She was even more irritated to think about it. The evidence came from her. Why did Arya get all the
benefits?
She made up her mind, turned the car around and drove towards the WS Group.
The towering building stood in the center of the city.
Georgina parked the car and walked in.
"Hello, do you have an appointment?" The front desk asked.
"Yes."
"What's your name, please?"
"This is a private matter between me and your boss. It's not on your itinerary." Georgina intended to
walk to the elevator without permission.
The receptionist stopped her. "I'm sorry, I can't let you in without an appointment."
"Get out of my way!" Georgina pushed him away.
The receptionist had no choice but to make a phone call to Xavier's secretary. "Someone broke in."
The secretary frowned. "Didn't you call the security?"
"Not yet. It's a woman."
"Got it." The secretary hung up and walked to the office door. She knocked on the door and pushed the
door open when she got Xavier's permission. "The front desk just said that a woman came in. Do we
need to call the security up now?"
Xavier's hand, which was signing, stopped. "No."
The secretary stepped back and went out.
But she happened to bump into Georgina. The secretary was about to apologize, but she found it was
Georgina. "It's you..."
Georgina's face darkened even more when she saw the secretary. Didn't Janet take the position from Material © NôvelDrama.Org.
her?
Oh, what a dirty trick. She fell down again.
Georgina snorted and walked towards the office.
Xavier had already heard the noise at the door. He put down the pen in his hand and leaned back
against the chair.
The moment he saw Georgina, he was not surprised. He looked calm and indifferent. "It's very rude for
you to barge into my office like this, Miss Taylor."
Georgina stood in front of Xavier's desk. She looked at Xavier angrily. "You set me up!"
Xavier's expression was always calm as if he had not heard Georgina's question. He picked up a
cigarette from the table and lit it. He took a deep breath and exhaled a white mist. "I hate others to set
me up, especially those who scheme against my loved ones."
Xavier was warning Georgina that she approached Arya on purpose.
Georgina's face turned slightly pale. "Did I do something wrong?"
She couldn't figure out what was wrong with her.
Was it wrong to be with someone you loved?
She had never been happy when she married Rufus. Rufus was fooling around with so many women.
She was not a machine, and she could also feel sad. She just pretended not to care and always looked
prideful in front of others.
Similarly, it wasn't that she didn't have any feelings for Rufus at all. It was Rufus who had erased all her
feelings towards him.
So, now she just wanted to be with the man she loved, even if that man didn't love her. At least she
could live with him, they could eat together, sleep on the same bed, and do what couples did at the
night.
"Do you love Arya because she gave birth to a child for you before marriage?" Georgina denied that
Arya was better than her.
She even felt that she was better than Arya in terms of family background and appearance.
Xavier especially disliked women who had no self-knowledge, like Georgina in front of him.
"Do you know what's the best relationship?" Xavier let out a long puff of smoke as if he had thought of
something, which made his eyes deep and mysterious.
"It's not about how beautiful she looks, how smart she is, or how extraordinary she is, but how much
you know her over time. Every time, you will find something different in her..."
He had once disdained Arya and did not understand why Jasper liked her.
But after getting to know her gradually, his attitude toward her had changed dramatically.
In his life, he had never thought that he would love a woman so much...
