Young Lord of The Dragon Sect

Chapter 1055 Being Refused

Chapter 1055 Being Refused

Flora was drinking leisurely in the bar, not knowing that some danger was approaching her. She was

here for fun so she didn’t pay attention to the surroundings.

Right then some drunk strong men, who had never seen such a beautiful girl, were attracted by her

immediately.

They walked up to her. She realized they were trying to do something to her.

“What do you want?” she asked with a defensive look.

They laughed obscenely. It was a good opportunity for them to get such a beautiful and innocent girl.

They wrung their hands and said lewdly, “Don’t be afraid. We won’t hurt you.”

They smiled at one another.

Flora sneered at them and was ready to beat them away.

Suddenly, a man in suits caught the hands of those men, reprimanding, “To beat a girl? Shame on

you!”

Those men looked very surly when they were stopped by a stranger.

They decided to teach him a lesson.

Then they began to beat him.

He sneered. They could never hurt him because he was good at fighting. He seemed to be ready for

the fight.

Those men were astonished. Never had they thought such a man was so formidable.

He punched one of the men backhand, and the man was beaten away.

“It’s impossible for you to beat me.” He mocked.

In a moment, all of them were beaten down.

“Thank you.” Flora smiled at him.

In fact, she could deal with them by herself even though no one helped her. But it would be

embarrassed for her to do it.

“It’s not a big deal. Never mind. Don’t worry. I won’t embarrass you.” He laughed.

His real purpose was to get her trust.

He knew he could deal with Maximilian as long as Flora trusted him.

So, it’s a vital step.

“This is how I want to thank you. Thank you so much.” She gave some money to him.

He was puzzled. He had thought she would give him a kiss instead of money.

She then said goodbye to her before he wanted to say more.

His face fell. He was trying to hold back his anger and astonishment and chased after her. “You’re

drunk. Why don’t you let me send you home?”

“No, thanks. I can go home by myself.” She shook her head.

He said seriously, “What if you ran into danger again? They dare not come back to you if I’m by your

side.”

She frowned a bit. She didn’t want to be badgered though he helped her out. In addition, she has paid

him back.

She became impatiently despite her good temper. All content is property © NôvelDrama.Org.

“You might as well let me company you.” He insisted on following her, ignoring her refusal completely.

She was resigned to it.

“Fine.” She had to agree to it at last.

He was thrilled to hear that and followed her.

Suddenly, she hailed a taxi and got in it, saying, “Now you don’t have to send me home. I’ll take the

taxi. Goodbye.”

When he was trying to get in with her, he found she had locked the door. He was embarrassed. He was

not very handsome, but far from ugly.

He couldn’t believe she would make him look bad. He was too embarrassed to say anything.

“You’re hurting my heart.” He said helplessly.

He had planned to develop a relationship with her, but didn’t expect to be refused completely.

“You’re acting well just now. Very handsome.” She laughed.

“Thank you.” He replied her compliments subconsciously, but after a second thought, he hesitated and

stared at her with a weird look.

“Did she see through my trick?” he thought. However, the taxi had went far before he figured it out.

His face changed a bit as if being insult. He had thought it would a perfect plan. Perhaps he could get

her, then he could kill two birds with one stone. He didn’t know she was clever enough to see him

through.

He had no choice but carry out his next plan, which is to get near to Grace Barnes. It would be a

success as long as he got one of them.
