Chapter 19: At Least I'm Here to See You off for the Last Time 

She kissed her son and spoke in a low voice, "Charles, will you forget me?"

Obviously, the child didn't understand what she said.He only felt that Caroline's kiss made his cheeks tickle.He also liked this kind of touch, so he giggled.

Caroline's eyes turned red at the sight of her cute son, she wanted to cry but she tried to make herself laugh.She looked at her son's innocent face and asked, "Charles, do you think Dad will be fine?"

The baby didn't react, he was just playing with the toy in his hand.

"I hope he’s fine." Caroline said.

Outside, Marisa passed by nursery.When she heard those words, her eyes suddenly turned red.She was touched by Caroline's words.

For the past few years, she had watched her boss suffered like this.

It was rare for him to have a woman by his side.

Although this woman seemed to have a bad reputation outside, she clearly saw that Caroline was a good woman, kind-hearted and meticulous in taking care of her baby.

"Are you still unwilling to go out for a treatment?"

The doctor changed the subject, "How about that woman and your son?"

"I will hire the best teacher to nurture my son.As for her .."

The man slightly paused and continued, "I will let her live the rest of her life without worrying about food and clothing."

"I can say just now that she cares about you."

Dr.Wilson patted the man on his shoulder and said, "Actually, you still have half a year.Why don't you try a relationship?"

When the man heard this, he sneered and said, "It's not like what you said"

"You have this disease for so many years.Now, I'll ask you, have you ever enjoyed a day of your life?"

Dr.Wilson was a bit mad, he was really concerned with the man.

"You're twenty-eight, not eighty-eight.Why don't you take the liberty to be happy till the end of your life?"

"I'm used to it."

The man didn't seem to care at all, "Time has no meaning nor difference to me."

Dr.Wilson got up and was about to leave, "If you feel something wrong with your body, remember to call me.We've known each other for so many years and you know that I am always willing to help you until your last breath”

"Alright" The man replied.

Dr.Wilson opened the door and left.
