Because they didn’t catch Don Ysmael. They did nothing but go back to the apartment. While riding in the car driven by Leo. Rhianna can’t help but think of the words he said earlier. She asks herself if she’s lacking in something so he can’t love her back. Are there qualities of a woman that Leo wants that she doesn’t have? She didn’t want to be the first to say those three words to him. She doesn’t want to be embarrassed. And besides, she’s a woman, a man should be the first to say those things.

“So the depth of what you’re thinking Rhianna. Is it because we didn’t catch up with Don Ysmael?” Leo asked her.

He looked in the rearview mirror to see her. Rhianna wants to say that what he said was wrong. She wanted to correct what he said but she just let it go. That’s better for him to think that way. She nodded and turned to him.

“Yes. But I know we can catch him. The time will come when we can catch him. I know you’re there.” she said. He also turned to her but he turned his attention back to the road.

“Yes, Agent Jerald. We didn’t find him at the mansion.” Leo stated. Rhianna was just listening while looking at the cellphone held by Leo.

“Yes. Someone betrayed my co-agents. They were given a lot of money so they were betrayed. Money does everything. But he’s in jail now.” Agent Jerald said.

“Copy Agent.” Leo ends the conversation. Agent Jerald turned off the call. Leo turned to her.

“We’ll catch him. I assure you that Rhianna.”

It was noon when Rhianna woke up. When they got home last night, she immediately fell asleep because she was tired. She got out of bed and stood up. She looked at the clock on the wall. It’s already ten in the morning. Suddenly, her stomach ding. Shet. She’s hungry. She get up and combed her hair before leaving the room and going to the kitchen. As she approached the kitchen, she heard someone who was slicing meat. She opened the door when she got to the kitchen. She saw Leo slicing meat wearing only shorts.

She was devastated to see his abs. It must be delicious to touch. She feels her body heat up because of the scene in front of her. Her gaze went to his face. His hair is wet which is true that he has bathed. He’s hot!

Leo suddenly turned to where she was. She was suddenly embarrassed by the way he looked at her. She immediately averted her gaze. He sneezed.

“Do I look good, baby?” he asked her. What? Baby? Is what she heard right? Rhianna sighed and sat down in front of him. She looked at him. He is slicing potatoes.

“What are you going to cook?” she asked him. He looked at her from doing.

“Marinated pork,” he answered.

“Wow! That’s delicious,” she exclaimed. She brewed coffee, to somehow warm her stomach.

“You didn’t answer my question. After you whipped a look at my body, wouldn’t you even praise me?” he commanded. It even makes my eyes widen as if to make her feel guilty. She stared at him.

“Yes. You look good today.” she answered. “and handsome of course.”

Rhianna was stunned by the words that came out of her mouth. What the heck! She couldn’t even control her mouth.

“Thank you, baby. You too. You’re beautiful now even though you just woke up.” he said and turned around to care about the cooking. Her cheeks blushed at what he said.

“Why do you call me baby? I’m not a baby.” she said but she was fascinated by what he said.

He just laughed at what she said. She wondered what he was saying, he suddenly became sweet. But, she liked the endearment he used on her. He opened his mouth to speak but it stopped when there was a knock on the apartment door.

“I’ll open it. Just keep doing what you’re doing.” she said and left the kitchen and went to the door.

Leo can’t help but smile at what Rhianna did earlier. Even though she just woke up, her beauty was still there. He turned off the stove and headed to the living room to see who the guest had arrived. She was surprised to see Brandon. She couldn’t help but clench my fist. What is he doing here?

“Good Morning Leo. I’m here to visit Rhianna,” he said.

He frowned at what he said. He wants to be selfish when it comes to Rhianna but he doesn’t own her. When she asked him last night why he was doing that, for protecting her. He wants to say that he loves her. But he held back. That wasn’t the right time to tell her how he felt. But, if the situation is like this, he might be able to tell in no time how she feels for her. It’s okay if she rejects him, at least he tells her what he felt.

“Sit down.” Rhianna said. Rhianna turned to him.

“Aren’t you cooking something? It might burn.” she said.

“I’ll go to the bedroom first. I’ll get dressed before I continue cooking.” he said and headed to the bedroom.

“How are you, Rhianna?” Brandon asked.

“I’m okay. How about you?” Rhianna asked.

Leo was disgusted and jealous so she immediately went to his room. He had to restrain himself because he didn’t want Rhianna and him to fight again. His room is just near the living room. So when he entered the room, he barely opened the door to hear what they were talking about. What was Brandon’s purpose why he visit Rhianna?

“We just finished the mission that Agent Jerald asked us to do. We arrested one of the drug dealers in the country. How about your mission?” Brandon asked Rhianna.

“Can I invite you to eat outside Rhianna?” Brandon asked. Leo was stunned by what Brandon said. Brandon is taking steps to win Rhianna’s heart. But, he will not allow it. She went out of the room to stop Rhianna but he was stunned by her answer.

“Of course. You can.”
