You Are My Mr Right

Chapter Seven Hundred Fifty: Blindness

“What did you see?” the woman asked.

Her husband immediately silenced her!

“We are in a vineyard, what can he see? Just the vast expanse of ripe grapes!” he replied.

But Elijah caught the key point in the woman’s words.

What did he see?

This sentence clearly implied that there was something unseen here.

Perhaps, the vineyard was just a cover.

But this couple didn’t seem like bad people.

If they were truly wicked, he would probably be dead by now.

This indirectly indicated that they were not irredeemably bad people!

“You saved me, I am grateful to you. If you need help with anything, I won’t hesitate to assist,” Elijah said.

The woman dared not speak further, just carefully tugged at her husband’s sleeve.

It seemed as if she was silently asking, should we trust him?

But the husband was not as quick to trust as the woman.

He was more cautious.

Glancing at his wife, he signaled for her not to trust someone too easily.

Holding a basket, he said, “Follow me.”

He wasn’t afraid of Elijah escaping on his own.

Firstly, it was remote here, making it hard to leave.

Secondly, his eyes could not see.

People with normal eyesight couldn’t even find their way out.

Let alone a blind man!

Elijah said, “You can check the latest news.”

The woman’s husband glanced back at him.

But he said nothing and strode away.

The woman followed her husband outside.

She would return at noon to make dinner.

After confirming that they were not bad people, Elijah ate the food the woman brought.

As usual, the woman fed her husband.

She saw him sitting under a grapevine, stuffing ripe red grapes into his mouth while looking at his phone.

Their phones were typically used to contact people on the other side.

Every time she saw her husband answer the phone, she would worry.

She stood not far away.

Her husband noticed her.

He waved for her to come over.

The woman approached and stood, not daring to squat down and place the food.

She feared hearing bad news.

Her husband clasped her hand, telling her to sit beside him and showing her the phone.

The words Elijah said had struck a chord in his heart.

Prompting him to check for any news of accidents recently.

And he did find some.

In the airspace over Country D.

He told his wife, “That man from Country Z may not have lied.”

The woman asked, “Can he help us then?”

He shook his head, indicating he didn’t know.

In truth, he didn’t dare easily trust anyone.

Hence, why he said this to his wife.

She said, “I thought…”

She stopped before finishing her sentence.

After all, it was a grim topic.

“Have your meal,” he handed the food to her husband.

Her husband took the food she passed him but didn’t share his plans with her.

These days, he spent less time in the vineyard, often sitting outside looking at his phone.

He was searching for information about Elijah.

He couldn’t blindly trust someone to help him.

Meanwhile, Freya had been searching for several days at the first station, but found no clues.

Orion said, “We can’t linger here for too long.”

But Freya was unwilling to give up, afraid of missing any detail.

At her request, they stayed for another day.

Ready to leave tomorrow.

Her stomach wasn’t feeling well these days.

Her spirits were low.

Orion said, “You are overthinking.”

Overthinking can harm the stomach.

Freya took a sip of water.

She knew.

Elijah was still missing.

Her nerves were constantly on edge. This is property © NôvelDrama.Org.

Buzzing-

Her phone suddenly rang.

She answered.

A deep voice came over from the other end, “Freya.”
