You Are My Mr Right

Chapter 890: Broadening Horizons

“Of course, of course!”

Orion smiled and lifted his coffee cup, savoring a sip all to himself.

Setting the cup down gently, he finally looked up.

“I heard from Xander that you took care of a lot of children when you were abroad. Can you tell me about your experience in caring for children?”

Childcare is something that should never be taken lightly.

Thinking about his daughter crying all night and giving him a headache, Orion let out a sigh.

“I’m usually quite busy with work, and the children at home have been causing a ruckus lately. I had no choice but to consider hiring a nanny… You know I’m a guy, rough around the edges. I’m afraid I might have some difficulties in taking care of children as well!”

Looking at Orion’s appearance, Luna couldn’t help but feel touched.

A man who is aware of his shortcomings in caring for children should be considered as doing his best!

“I’ve taken care of several families’ children abroad. You can take a look at the feedback from those families!”

With that, Luna handed over the detailed information she had prepared in advance.

“Over the years, I’ve found that staying abroad wasn’t really for me, which is why I asked my cousin to bring me over here!”

The documents were very formal, and all the information on them was filled in very detailed.

“Kelsey Silverton?”

Looking at a name he had never heard of before, Orion couldn’t help but feel a bit lost.

The interview materials were so comprehensive that there were almost no flaws to be found.

“Yes!”

Luna remained composed.

After returning to the country, she was no longer the Luna she used to be.

At this moment, she needed a new name, a name that would represent her new life!

“You’ve taken care of newborn babies abroad, and the family had very positive feedback about you!”

Carefully examining the contents of the documents, Orion’s lips lifted into a smile.

“Not bad, not bad. However, the way children are cared for abroad might be different from the way they are taken care of in the country. Do you think you can handle it?”

Foreign women don’t even need to observe the traditional postpartum practices, and different lifestyles could lead to different ways of caring for children!

“No problem!”

Luna smiled.

“Please rest assured, before I went abroad, I had some experience in the country as well. If you don’t believe me, I can have a few of my previous employers give you a call!”

It was always good to be prepared.

As long as she could get close to her daughter, she was willing to do anything!

“That won’t be necessary!”

This time, Orion shook his head.

“You’re Xander’s relative. If anything happens, I’ll naturally go to him!”

With that, Orion rested his hand on the sofa.

“My daughter is still very young. The nanny I hired a few days ago was not able to take care of her well. When do you think you can start, and do you have any salary requirements?”

They had already agreed on doubling the salary yesterday!

“Just a normal level will do! If you think I’m doing well, you can also give me some additional bonuses!”

The more urgent she seemed, the more suspicious the person in front of her might be!

The most important thing now was to let things take their natural course!

“Sounds good!”

“I’ve brought a contract. Take a look at it, and if there are no issues, we can sign it!”

Orion took out a contract from his bag.

This contract was drafted by Orion last night and contained many detailed questions!

“Alright!”

Luna obediently accepted the contract.

After a brief glance at the contract, when she looked at the salary section at the end, she nodded with a satisfied smile!

Showing that she was very pleased with the salary, she wanted Orion to think she was someone who cared about money.

“This salary is even higher than what I earned when I was abroad. Rest assured, I will take good care of your child!”

She asked the waiter for a pen.

After smoothly signing the contract, Orion took the initiative to reach out his hand to her.

“Hope we have a pleasant cooperation!”

As Luna looked at his hand, she didn’t hesitate to shake it.

With just a step away from seeing her daughter!

At that moment when their hands clasped, Orion’s heart trembled once again, but he didn’t say anything!

“Oh, by the way!”

As he tidied up the contract, Orion remembered something.

“My child had a previous name, but I wasn’t quite satisfied with it. Since you are well-traveled, could you suggest a new name for me?”

Luna hesitated.

The child’s name was chosen by her and Tyler, but now that Tyler was gone, she was a completely different person.

Orion wanted to change the child’s name, which was understandable.

It was good, the child was so young, changing the name would completely sever the ties with the past.

“Well…”

Pretending to ponder for a moment, Luna shook her head.

“Sir, I’m just here to take care of your baby. The naming of the child should be your decision, but if you want me to suggest a name, I do have one in mind!”

Orion’s gaze was calm, but there was a hidden storm within. “I’d like to hear it.”

“Why not name the young lady Gloria Russo? You probably hopes your child will be elegant and unburdened by minor details!” Luna couldn’t help but say a little more.

The previous name was also good, but since Orion didn’t want it, she was content to be a part of the naming process. As a mother, she was pleased.

“Gloria Russo…” Orion tasted the name again.

He looked at Luna and smiled, tugging at his lips. “Not a bad name. I didn’t expect you to be so eloquent.”

After a moment of silence, he smiled and looked ahead.

“It seems that you have read some poetry and literature. Entrusting my child to someone like you, I feel even more at ease!”

Luna bowed her head. “I spoke out of turn.”

“Say… when can you start working?” After hesitating for a moment, Orion furrowed his brow.

“The nanny from yesterday might only be able to do some room cleaning at home. She probably can’t handle much else. I thought you could come over and take a look at our place first!”

Luna agreed, “Alright.”

“We can go now. I didn’t have many matters to deal with after returning to the country, so I can get acquainted with the child first!”

“That would be great!” Orion became visibly excited. “Please, this way, Miss!”

The two of them arrived at the underground garage together. This text is property of Nô/velD/rama.Org.

Before getting into the car, Luna naturally sat in the back seat.

Seeing her skillful movements, Orion said nothing.

The two of them rode in silence.

Upon arriving home, the nanny was indeed struggling to appease the child.

“My little darling!”

The nanny had a splitting headache.

She had raised her two sons, but never had a child who was as troublesome as this little girl!

“My little darling, I’ve given you everything you need to eat and drink. Why are you still crying so much?”

Looking at the child’s pale face, the nanny wished she could just cover her mouth and make her stop crying!

At that moment, a click of the door opening could be heard.

The door had just opened, and Luna’s heart jumped to her throat!

“Child…”

She blurted out unconsciously, then quickly covered her mouth.

Seeing Orion’s puzzled expression beside her, Luna could only smile slightly. “The child is crying so loudly, something must be wrong. Let’s hurry and go in to check!”

Hearing this, Orion also became more alert.
