You Are My Mr Right

Chapter 835: Utilization

He was a servant in the house.

So restless.

Freya frowned, stood up, and asked, “What’s wrong?”

The servant lowered their gaze and said, “There’s someone at the door.”

“Someone at the door?” Freya was also puzzled.

“Let’s go and see.” She was about to follow the servant outside.

But Elijah stopped her.

“I’ll go!”

After some thought, Freya realized that it would be better for Elijah to handle it.

She nodded.

Elijah got up and walked out.

Orion followed Elijah, muttering, “Nothing bad will happen, right?”

There was a shadow in his heart as well.

He didn’t want anything bad to happen again.

Elijah turned to look at him.

He felt like he was a jinx.

“If you don’t talk, nothing will happen.”

Orion, “…”

At the door, they saw a boy standing there.

Elijah didn’t know him well.

But Orion recognized him, “Barzel.”

Elijah’s mind started to speculate as well.

Orion explained, “He’s the son of your savior, the one Evan saved.”

Barzel handed a envelope to Orion.

Confused, Orion took it, “What’s this?”

He didn’t say anything.

Orion opened it.

It was a threatening letter.

The tone on the letter indicated it was from the same people who had captured him.

Orion furrowed his brows and handed the letter to Elijah.

After reading it, Elijah’s expression remained unchanged. He just said to Barzel, “I can provide you with protection.”

Barzel stared at Elijah, his eyes deep, “Both my parents died because they saved you?”

Elijah said, “Not entirely.”

They were threatened from the beginning.

He believed Barzel knew this as well.

The deaths that followed were related to him.

That’s why he was willing to protect the boy.

The boy smiled, “Two lives for your protection?”

Elijah raised an eyebrow.

He clearly wasn’t happy about this.

“What do you want?” Elijah asked.

He wanted to get it over with.

“I want money.” Before Elijah could answer, Barzel said, “I know you’re rich.”

Elijah looked at him expressionlessly.

He didn’t know if he was being ordered, or if he was just greedy.

Elijah didn’t care anymore.

He didn’t want to deal with someone who was only after money.

“Speak up, how much do you want?” Elijah’s tone was nearing impatience.

Barzel said, “One billion.”

He really dared to ask for that much.

Orion was shocked by his audacity.

Elijah naturally figured it out.

For him, that amount of money wasn’t much.

But for a teenager, asking for so much money was still surprising.

One had to wonder if he was being manipulated.

“What do you need so much money for?” Orion asked.

Barzel replied, “That’s none of your business. Two lives for a billion, isn’t that much, right?”

“But it’s not little either.” Orion said, “The lives of ordinary people aren’t worth that much.”

Barzel was annoyed, “Because of him, my parents died. Shouldn’t he compensate me with some money?”

“Is a little money, an billion, considered little?” Orion retorted.

Barzel faltered for a moment.

“A little less will do.”

Orion furrowed his brows, “Ten million.”

Barzel, angry, turned to leave, “This isn’t over between us.”Property of Nô)(velDr(a)ma.Org.

Orion whispered to Elijah, “Is he being used by someone?”
