You Are My Mr Right

Chapter 800: Exchange

Evan said, “It doesn’t hurt…”

“It must hurt,” Sacha felt sorry for him.

Freya, though a doctor, couldn’t help much at the moment.

Evan had already been to the hospital and received treatment for his injuries.

It would take some time for these wounds to heal.

“Go inside quickly,” Freya urged Sacha.

Evan still had to attend to everyone outside.

It would be better for him to rest in the room!

Sacha nodded and gently touched Evan’s arm.

Evan, feeling helpless, couldn’t refuse her.

After all, she cared for him.

He was just slightly uncomfortable with Sacha treating him like a child!

However, Sacha was completely absorbed in her anguish over his injuries and didn’t notice Evan’s uneasiness.

Once inside the room, Sacha made him lie down on the bed.

Evan said, “…”

He motioned for Sacha to sit.

Sacha shook her head, “You lie down first. I’ll go to the kitchen and make you something to eat. I’ll buy some bones and make soup for you to drink…”

“Sacha,” Evan interrupted her.

Looking at her worried and caring eyes, he couldn’t bring himself to say anything harsh. He asked, “Why buy bones? I prefer eating fish…”

“Your legs and arms are injured to the bones. Eating bones will help heal those areas,” Sacha said with round, wide eyes.

Evan…

He was speechless.

There was no way to argue.

Looking at her innocent expression, he nodded, “Well, I’ll have two extra bowls later.”

Sacha noticed he didn’t lie down immediately and asked, “Aren’t you going to rest?”

Evan said, “I can’t sleep right now.”

Sacha said, “Even if you can’t sleep, lie down.”

She spoke with an authoritative tone.

Evan…

He obediently lay down!

Sacha covered him with a blanket.

Her gaze fell on his face again, the horrifying scars that made one’s heart tremble.

She gently touched them, “It must have hurt a lot. How did you endure it…”

Evan grabbed her hand, his gaze gentle, “It’s all in the past, don’t worry.”

Sacha nodded softly.

Fortunately… she brought him back.

She remembered Elijah tirelessly meeting people to rescue Evan.

Fortunately, he had a wide network and managed to find Evan.

With his help, Evan was saved.

She didn’t know what Elijah exchanged for Evan.

After all, she had heard that those people operated in the gray area, engaging in illegal activities and wielding weapons. They were truly ruthless.

She still remembered Evan’s appearance when she first saw him.

His face, the two wounds covered in dried blood, thick and dark red on his cheeks and neck. The wounds were deep, oozing fresh blood.

His arms and legs had suffered varying degrees of crushing!

“Go buy bones!” Evan said.

She felt uncomfortable just looking at herself.Belonging © NôvelDram/a.Org.

It might be better if she didn’t look.

Sacha thought he wanted to eat them.

She smiled and said, “I’ll go now.”

She tucked Evan in, afraid he might get cold.

Actually, the weather wasn’t cold at all!

It was just her nervousness about Evan’s injuries that made her behave this way.

She gently closed the door.

She wanted to find Orion, but she heard he wasn’t around, and Xander had returned to the company.

She wasn’t familiar with this place.

She didn’t even know where to buy groceries.

So she went to find Freya.

She walked to Freya’s bedroom door and knocked, “Sister-in-law, are you there?”
