You Are My Mr Right

Before her eyes, everything seemed blurry and hazy.

She said, “Elijah, I’m so tired.”

Elijah lowered his head and kissed her cheek. “You can’t sleep.”

Freya softly responded, “Hmm.”

“Zhijian, can you see if there’s a hospital nearby?” Elijah said.

Orion checked and found that there were no hospitals nearby.

He said, “I’ll take care of Freya myself.”

Being a doctor, he could perform emergency procedures.

Xander pulled the car over to the side of the road.

Orion got out, went to the back, and closed the door while Xander continued driving.

Orion checked Freya’s wound.

The bullet had hit her shoulder.

It was a deep wound.

The blood was still flowing out of it.

He tore open her clothes and bit a hole in the fabric with his teeth.

He lifted Freya’s arm and tied the cloth around her shoulder, a few centimeters away from the wound. Then he tore off another strip and tied it around her arm.

The purpose of this was to stop the bleeding.

Freya handed Orion a scalpel.

It was her self-defense weapon.

Orion understood what Freya meant and directly refused.

“You’re losing a lot of blood, and it might have hit a major artery. If I attempt to remove the bullet now and you bleed heavily, there’s nothing in the car for me to stop the bleeding. The bleeding has already reduced, so just hold on for a while.”

Freya, weak and with pale lips, said, “Hmm.”

She struggled to stay awake, but her eyelids kept drooping!

After about an hour, Xander drove down from the main road and into another district.

He was looking for a hospital.

Orion said, “A pharmacy will do!”

Because he could remove the bullet there.

He had a scalpel, just not any medication!

Xander said, “Got it.”

Orion checked the map to see if there were any pharmacies or hospitals nearby!

The hospitals were in the downtown area, not on the outskirts.

There might be small clinics around, but they weren’t marked on the map.

So they settled for a pharmacy.

He showed Xander his phone. “Go to this place. There’s a pharmacy there.”

Xander looked and nodded.

“Freya, hold on a little. We’ll find the pharmacy soon,” Orion said softly to Freya.

Freya fluttered her eyelids gently!

And softly said, “Hmm.”

The road ahead was wider now, although there were still a lot of cars.

But it was much safer.

After a while, the car stopped at a pharmacy.

Orion went in to buy some medication.

Then he went upstairs to remove the bullet from Freya!

He said, “Stop the car for a moment.”

If the car moved while he was performing the procedure and the movement caused him to miss his target, it could cause a second injury to Freya, as well as make it difficult to remove the bullet!

Xander said, “Don’t worry, I’ll watch out for the surroundings!”

Orion said, “They don’t have anesthesia, just this.”

It would reduce the pain when taken orally.

But it wouldn’t eliminate the pain like anesthesia would!

He put the medicine in Freya’s mouth.

“Just bear with it.”

Freya swallowed the medicine and softly hummed.

He first disinfected her, cleared the blood around the wound, found the position, and cut.

The knife sliced through flesh with a sharp sound!

Suddenly, a wave of pain struck.

A piercing, excruciating pain.

Her hands instinctively clenched!
