“Where are you guys?” Evan asked.

Elijah replied, “We’re in a town called Wos.”

“You need to leave,” Evan urged.

Before Elijah could respond, the call was cut off.

Elijah frowned and said, “Let’s go.”

Orion said, “We haven’t eaten yet.”

“No time,” Elijah knew that the group of people might be on their trail. Otherwise, Evan wouldn’t be so urgent. He didn’t know if Evan was okay. The sudden cut-off of the call was unsettling.

Freya said to Xander, “Go start the car.”

“It’s not fixed yet…”

“It’s okay,” Freya urged him, “Hurry.”

The rear windshield was missing, but it was still drivable. It was okay.

Xander immediately went.

Freya helped Elijah walk, and Orion looked around. “Who are these people that are chasing us so relentlessly?”

Before Xander could arrive, there was gunfire on the street.

This time it wasn’t just directed at them.

It was a shootout between both sides!

The scene was chaotic.

Orion said, “Why is there another group of people?”

Freya also expressed her confusion.

Elijah said, “Is that Evan?”
