As soon as Xander answered the phone, he informed Evan of the situation, “We are heading over there, but the danger level is high. Bring your people with you. I’ll send you the address, and you must be quick.”

Evan replied, “Got it.”

After hanging up the phone, he began searching online for information about the location.

The results showed that the area was quite remote, with no signs of human habitation nearby.

Xander speculated, “Mr. Silverton, could he have been kidnapped by bandits?”

Orion rolled his eyes, “Come on, it’s the 21st century, and D country’s security is pretty good. Bandits don’t exist.”

Xander pointed out, “Look at the location, it’s in the mountains. Mr. Silverton used a phone that wasn’t his own. Who could be in the mountains with him? Could it be wild people?”

Orion ignored him, too tired to engage.

He finally understood why Elijah had left him here and let Evan follow along.

He urged Orion, “Can you drive a bit faster?”

Orion shot him a look, “I’m already going fast enough.”

He was driving a car, not a plane with wings!

“You’re in a hurry, aren’t I?”

Orion muttered, “Stop bothering me.”

Xander retorted, “You’re the bothersome one.”

The car sped along the straight highway!

At this point, no matter how fast they drove, it felt slow!

They wished they could fly over immediately.

After refueling, the car’s gas tank fully loaded, they continued their journey without stopping.

This time, it was Orion’s turn to complain to Xander, “You said it wasn’t far. We’ve used up all the gas, and we’re still not there.”

Xander coolly replied, “We’re just burning fuel driving fast!”

Driving this fast was truly dangerous.

He needed to focus entirely!

Fortunately, the area was quite remote, and there were hardly any other cars on the road.

Mountains lined both sides of the road endlessly.

After about two hours, they approached their destination.
