You Are My Mr Right

Chapter 732: Shame

Freya quickly and casually dealt with the injury on her foot before heading out.

Kai ran over and hugged her leg, “Mom, where are you going? Will you play with me? I really like it here, there are so many fun things.”

Freya gently patted his head, “Mom has some things to do, you have to listen to grandma at home.”

Kai blinked, “Mom…”

Eagle carried Kai away, “Madam, I will ensure their safety.”

Freya trusted Eagle and nodded at him, “Thank you.”

“This is what I should do,” Eagle said.

Freya walked downstairs.

“Madam…” Eagle called out to her.

Freya turned back, “Yes?”

He went back inside and brought her a bottle of medicine.

“As bodyguards, we always have some medicine on hand. I noticed your ankle was swollen, spray it on a few times to reduce swelling and bruising.”

Freya reached out and took it, “Thank you.”

Eagle said there was no need to thank him.

Freya stepped out of the door, and Evan arrived as well. She got into the car and went straight to the airport.

On the way, Freya said, “If there’s any news about Elijah, inform me immediately.”

“I will,” Evan said.

Freya lowered her eyes, worry evident in them.

Worried about Elijah and also worried about Luna.

When she arrived at the airport, it was a while before the boarding announcement was made.

Evan asked, “Do you want me to book your return ticket for you?”

Freya didn’t know when she would be able to come back, so she said, “I’ll book my own return ticket, you focus on finding out about Elijah’s whereabouts.”

She had Evan book her return ticket because she needed him to take her to the airport. She didn’t want to trouble him when she returned.

Evan replied, “Alright.”

She proceeded to check-in.

In China, Mr. Pierce rushed to Nightport and was picked up by Leroy, who took him to the hospital.

His identity could be verified.

The hospital would definitely cooperate.

After all, saving lives was important.

The surgery had not yet begun here.

There was no surgeon available.

Mr. Pierce first inquired about the situation, then discussed opinions with the attending doctor here, and formulated a surgical plan.

The attending doctor here and Mr. Pierce jointly performed the surgery.

Time was of the essence. Once the plan was confirmed, they immediately began preparations.

In the delivery room, Luna was on the birthing bed, sweating profusely.

But she did not cry out.

She was very enduring.

By nightfall, six or seven hours had passed.

She had not given birth yet.

Her cervix remained closed.

In the operating room, the surgery had not yet concluded.

By night, Luna was exhausted.

The obstetrician said, “Let’s do a C-section!”

Luna looked at the female police officer sent to accompany her and weakly asked, “Has his surgery finished?”

The female police officer replied, “Not yet.”

Luna looked down desolately.

Her wet hair stuck to her face.

“You may have difficulty in giving birth naturally. It’s safer to have a C-section,” the doctor said again.

Luna numbly gazed at the ceiling.

Tyler was the best man she had ever met.

If he died.

She didn’t want to live either.

Tears fell from her eyes.

Her entire life had found brightness because of Tyler.NôvelDrama.Org © 2024.

The doctor urgently asked the female police officer to persuade her.

“Tyler is doing his best on his end. If something happens to the baby when you bear it, even if he’s unharmed, he will be heartbroken…”

Luna sadly pursed her lips.

This child was not his.

Bringing it into the world would be a disgrace to him.

This child should never have existed in the first place!

She refused to consent to a C-section.

“Could you check the situation in the operating room for me, good… or bad?” Luna looked at the female police officer!
