You Are My Mr Right

Midnight.

At the deep sea, under the sparkling moonlight, the salty sea breeze carried a pungent smell as it howled past the shore.

People shivered in the cold.

The police officers hidden in the containers were vigilant, focusing on the situation outside.

With the information from their undercover, they targeted the ship. Once there was any movement, their team would immediately move in for the arrest.

The criminals had a clear plan – to sail to the open sea for a trade.

So, they had to act in advance.

And actions at sea were not easy.

They had to capture the ship before it set sail!

As the targeted ship started, the deputy chief gave the command.

They blocked the ship at the dock, then surrounded it.

What they were trading had harmful consequences, and once caught, they faced either execution or decades in prison, carrying the weight of many lives on their backs.

A group of desperate outlaws.

When faced with capture, they would fight back.

Tyler led his team onto the ship, charging ahead as the captain.

Tyler pointed to the man in black, squatting against the wall.

Soon, the man in black was taken to the interrogation room.

Tyler said, “I’ll make a call first to let Luna know I’ve returned safely.”

“You go ahead, Captain!”

Tyler went outside to make the call.

“Hello.”

“It’s me, come to the station, and say you’re delivering food for me.” Tyler said.

Luna immediately understood his message.

“Okay.”

Tyler entered the interrogation room.

During the interrogation, the man remained silent.

Even after being caught red-handed with contraband, he refused to cooperate.

A tough nut to crack.

Shortly after, Luna arrived with food.

She was heavily pregnant.

The team took good care of her.

“Tyler is in Interrogation Room 3. Wait in his office; I’ll inform him later.”

Luna hurriedly declined, “No need, I’ll bring the food over myself. You all must be hungry after the operation, it’s almost dawn. I’ve brought extra dumplings, have some.”

As she spoke, she placed the food containers on the table.

Everyone was famished by this hour.

“Thank you, Luna.”

“You all eat, I’ll go see Tyler.”

“Luna, go ahead!”

Luna took the food and headed to the interrogation room. She pushed the door open.

The man in black, upon seeing her, widened his eyes.

His pupils trembled!

Tyler told the recorder, “Go take a break.”

The recorder caught on, “Luna’s here, I’ll take a break.”

“There are dumplings outside; have some.” Luna said.

The recorder packed up his notebook.

“Luna…”

Once the recorder left, Tyler whispered a warning to the man, “If you want to see Luna and talk to her, stay quiet.”

He closed the door, then turned off the camera.

He had asked Luna to come under the pretext of delivering food because she had already resigned.

As per regulations, suspects under interrogation should not meet outsiders until they confess.

Especially if they knew each other.

Tyler didn’t want people to know Luna’s acquaintance with the man.

“Just pretend I’m not here.”

He sat down at the table to eat dumplings.

“Zane.” Luna couldn’t believe her eyes. The man before her was Zane – dark, thin, with a scar on his face.

He was trapped in the interrogation chair.

His wrists were handcuffed.

Zane, too, couldn’t believe the sight of her swollen belly!
