Yesterday, Today, and Tomorrow

**Archie’s POV**

I have been waiting for Lisa in the lobby of her office building. I am really bothered by the result of my talk with Luigi. I already saw Lisa coming down from the elevator, my steps have been in a hurry as if someone will grab Lisa away from me. After I came close to her, I hugged and pecked a kiss on her lips. I don’t care anymore what people may say of my actions. But I wanted them to know that Lisa is MINE and MINE alone. I know Lisa was shocked by what I did, but I cannot hide being afraid of losing her in the process as Luigi said. I held her hand and we walked outside the building and we went to a nearby café for a short snack.

“Lisa, I need to tell you something. I just hope you’re not mad at me for what I did just now. I know you’re not a fan of PDA, but I cannot control myself from being afraid of losing you. Forgive me please, but do understand my actions.” She just looked at me and encouraged me to continue talking. “I have talked to Luigi just this afternoon and he was so persistent to continue his intention on you. He even made a threat that he would steal you away from me. I don’t want to lose you. I would die if that happens. Do you really love me? I just wanted to know what you really feel about me.”

“What the hell are you talking about? Of course, I love you. I wouldn’t be fighting for you over Luigi if I didn’t love you.” She just blurted out.

“Thank you, my love for assuring me of your love for me, but it got into my nerve Luigi’s threat over our relationship. I cannot just disregard what he can do to win your heart. I am so afraid that I just woke up next morning that you’re already gone from me. I don’t want to lose you, you know?” I was really fidgety at that time. I am really speechless.

Lisa held my hands. “Don’t worry, everything will turn out fine as long as we have each other, we can fight everything that will come our way. We just need to have faith in each other and remove all doubts in our relationship. I just wish I could introduce you to my parents so that you can freely come to our house whenever you send me home. Will you be ready for that?” She asked me.

“I would gladly do, if that makes you happy.” I told her.

“Well then, when are you ready to face my parents? I wanted you to be ready for eventualities, especially my father who might throw you questions.” She questions me. I haven’t done such a thing in my life to face the parents of my girlfriend because I am not really serious about my previous relationship. It was all a fling.

“We can have it tomorrow night so that I can prepare myself for any consequences.” I told her.

“Ok then, tomorrow night. I will tell my parents about you tonight so you can meet them up by tomorrow. Are you ok with that?” She confirmed it to me.

“Well then, it is a date.” I assured her. We left for the bus station for her to ride home. Unknowingly that there is someone lurking in the dark that was following us. I may not see him but I would guess it was him, Luigi. He’s really creeping me out. I don’t know what his plan was to ruin my relationship with Lisa, but I would never give up on her, knowing that she also loved me that much.

**Lisa’s POV**

I arrived home after a short talk with Archie. I can see the worry on Archie’s face that he was really bothered by the talks he had with Luigi this afternoon. I never thought that someone like Luigi would be like this. He can have any woman he wants, he is also good looking, rich, and educated. I can’t see the point why he would threaten us. If only for his selfishness to get what he wanted. I just hope we get over Luigi’s threat. I wanted to deal with one problem at a time. And I need to focus on my parents first to introduce Archie to them by tomorrow night.

“Father, sorry to disturb you. But I need to tell you something important.” I told my father through the telephone.

“And what is it this time?” He inquired.

“Don’t get angry please. Promise me?” I solemnly asked.

“Ok, just spit it out. I am already holding my breath here of worry.” He’s losing his patience.© NôvelDrama.Org - All rights reserved.

“I would like to introduce to you my boyfriend by tomorrow night, and please don’t harass him with your questions and bad comments. He will be attending dinner with us tomorrow night here at home. Please father, don’t get angry.” I told him in one breath.

“How long have you known this man? I hope he is not like your previous boyfriend and boyfriend to be. Like Leon and William? Ok then, I will be there early so we have more time to get to know him better.” He told me with concern.

“I’m sorry father, but I have known him for quite some time now and I just recently agreed to be his girlfriend after he arrived from his journey. He is a seafarer and he just recently returned from his journey. He would be leaving again soon for another contract. That’s why I wanted you to meet him before he boarded his ship again.” I explained to my father.

“I have already said yes. I will be there tomorrow night. Just be sure that he would not disappear in fear of meeting your parents.” He sarcastically said.

“Of course not, father. He would be there, as we expected him to be.” I assured my father.

Now I have convinced my father that Archie will be here tomorrow night. And my father will come home for dinner tomorrow to get to know Archie, and I will also tell my mother that we will have a visitor tomorrow night. I just hope my mother will refrain herself from making bad comments.

I guess introducing my boyfriend to my parents will be a good move to strengthen our relationship against Luigi’s threat to us.

Today is another milestone for me and Archie, because this would be the first time that he would meet my parents, and his first time to face the parents of his girlfriend. As he said before, he never had the chance to meet the parents of his previous relationship because he’s never been serious with them in the first place. I don’t know if I could say I was lucky that he would give time to meet my parents, it may be an indication that he is really serious about what he feels for me and with our relations.
