Chapter 63
Chapter 63
Matthew leaned heavily on his cane as he marched up to Samuel, blazing his eyes with fury. With a
swift motion, he Jabbed the tip of his cane Into Samuel’s knee. “I’m not in the grave yet, and you dare
treat Natalle like this?!”
“Dad! Did you not see what Natalle did to Gracia?!” Samuel pointed accusingly towards Gracia,
furrowing his brow in frustration.
Matthew’s face turned a shade of crimson, anger seething from his pores. “You sent people to kidnap
her! Do you think I’m unaware? Isn’t the current fiasco at the company because of your damned
meddling?”
Natalie watched Samuel silently, a smirk tugging at the corner of her mouth. She was curious to see
how he would squirm his way out of this one.
“It’s because she won’t come home! Would we have resorted to such drastic measures if she just
behaved?” Samuel stammered to assert some authority in his voice.
“And how do you explain Gracia’s fan trying to run me over today, Mr. Wright?” Natalie couldn’t help but
let out a cold laugh. “Because I don’t behave, you try to kill me?”
Matthew seemed to be caught off guard by this new piece of information. After a brief pause, he turned
his steely gaze towards Lydia and Gracia. Text © owned by NôvelDrama.Org.
“Apologize to Natalie!” he commanded, his voice brooking no argument. “Now!”
“What? Apologize to her after what she did to Gracia?” Lydia was a picture of shock and disbelief.
“Samuel!” Lydia was mixed hurt with outrage.
Samuel felt a twinge of guilt. Lydia had stood by him through thick and thin, enduring so much. With
just a pout from her, he found himself saying sternly, “Lydia’s right. There’s no way we’re apologizing to
this little brat!”
‘Little brat.” The term sparked a laugh from Natalie.
A father calling his daughter a brat was amusing.
She sneered at Samuel, “So what does that make the father of a little brat and his younger daughter?
Also a brat?”
“You!” Samuel was taken aback, his face quickly turning a shade of thunderous blue. He stepped
forward, raising his hand to strike Natalie.
In a Mercedes not far off, Reid saw Samuel’s menacing gesture and turned anxiously to his boss. “Mr.
Howard! They’re about to lay hands on Natalie! Should we intervene?”
Brian paused, his gaze cold as ice, sweeping towards the Wright family.
If they dared touch her…

coundrel” But before Samuel could act. Matthew swung his cane with full force, striking Set behind the
knee and sending him to the ground, right in front of Natalie. To Natalie, such scum warranted nothing
more than disgust.
“No need for such grand gestures, Mr. Wright,” she said with a wry smile. “Just have that little wat come
over and apologize,”
“Dad…” Gracia clung to Lydia, tears streaming down her blood–streaked face, sobbing as if her besart
would break.
Natalie couldn’t fathom how those in the wrong could be so brazenly self–righteous. But she was
determined that Gracia would pay for her shamelessness before the day was done.
Sliding into her car seat, she glanced briefly at Gracia, arching an eyebrow. “Alright, let’s hear at
hundred apologies.”
In your dreams!” Lydia shrieked, her voice shrill with indignation. “Have you no shame, Natalie? You
were entrusted to Audrey! The Wright family has been more than generous to you over the years! Don’t
push your luck!”
Natalie’s eyes glinted with an icy resolve. “If what you’ve done to me counts as being generous, then I
won’t hesitate to repay you in kind!”
Lydia faltered, speechless.
“No apologies, huh?” Natalie waited for a beat, then smiled at Gracia once more.
“Well if that’s the case, the surveillance footage from the apartment and the fan’s statement at the
police station should be enough to see you behind bars for a good long time.”
