Chapter 30
Chapter 30
“Why are you in such a hurry to blame me?” Anastasia did not look at Alastor, and her voice was hoarse.
Alastor got out of the car and came to open the door for Anastasia.
She sneered inwardly. “How considerate of him.”
“Doesn’t he want you to divorce me?” Alastor asked while he stood by the door.
“You are the one who wants me to divorce you, remember?” Anastasia did not get out of the car because her legs were numb and badly hurt.
Anastasia could sense that Alastor had no intention of going up with her. He seemed to be in a hurry to leave.
She wondered, “Is he afraid that Felicia would be unsafe alone in the hospital? Or is he afraid that she would make a scene again?”
“Didn’t you want to talk to me?” Anastasia looked up at Alastor.
“Have a good rest. Alastor blurted out those words after hesitating to say something but stopped himself from saying it.
Anastasia smiled. She played dumb and got out of the car before she held Alastor’s wrist. “Let’s go home and sleep.” “Anastasia, I said that I would make up for you if I make a mistake. You can state your request.” Alastor held Anastasia’s hand and let go of it slowly.
Anastasia looked at Alastor’s hand and was silent for a long time.
“I want to keep this baby.” Anastasia looked down at her belly.
She wanted to take a gamble even though she knew that she shouldn’t keep the baby.
“It’s more beneficial to you and him without this child.” Alastor looked at Anastasia quietly.
Anastasia felt absurd. That was the real Alastor. He was so thoughtful that he even took her cheating and divorce life into consideration.
He even knew that divorce women were more likely to be accepted without children.
“What if I’m determined to keep this baby?” Anastasia’s eyes were firm and persistent.
Alastor remained silent for a moment and said, “Then keep it.”
Anastasia wanted to cry and reached out. She wanted to grab Alastor’s hand. She even had the urge to ask him to break up with Felicia for a moment.
She even wanted to humbly beg him to love her.
However, her raised hand was left dangling in midair.
Alastor’s phone rang.
His phone had rung consecutively all the way back.
Alastor turned around to answer the phone, leaving Anastasia alone on the
spot.
Anastasia felt numb in her fingers. A sudden thought came to her, and she wondered the purpose of her persistence in that relationship.
“Alastor, I’m scared. Hurry back. Have you made it clear to her? Is she still refusing to divorce?”
In the phone, Felicia’s voice was sharp and could be heard clearly in the night.
Alastor frowned, and his expression was sullen.
Anastasia stood on the spot, waiting for him to end his call, and turned to end their relationship.
Anastasia could not hear what Alastor and Felicia had said, as she had severe tinnitus at that time.
Anastasia took a deep breath, leaned against the door, and tried to make herself look less pathetic.
She thought, “It’s ridiculous for me to compete with Felicia for Alastor. He was right. I’m no match for her. How could I make him stay with me? With the baby that’s not supposed to exist in this world? Or our four years of marriage?”
“Go home.” After hanging up the phone, Alastor came over and asked Anastasia to go home coldly. This text is © NôvelDrama/.Org.
Anastasia just looked at Alastor quietly and said in a hoarse voice, “Can’t she wait?”
“Anastasia, take care of yourself.” Alastor raised his hand and brushed Anastasia’s hair behind her ear.
His voice was soft, and his movements were also very gentle.

His gentleness made Anastasia have a ridiculous illusion.
In the past four years, she had fallen in love with him gradually, relying on that damm illusion.
“Alastor, you’ll regret treating me in such a way.” Anastasia’s voice was hoarse and trembling, with her fingers clenched tightly.
Alastor did not say anything and drove away.
Anastasia stood on the spot. She took a deep breath and lowered her head with a smile.
Slowly, her smile vanished, and tears welled up in her eyes uncontrollably.
She squatted on the ground and cried for a long time.
It was not until the sensation of Anastasia’s numb legs faded that she slowly stood up while holding the street lamp with difficulty.
Anastasia’s vision turned black. She almost lost her balance and slumped onto the ground after taking a few steps. Then, she slowly lost consciousness.
Before Anastasia fell into a coma, she thought absurdly whether Alastor would return to her if he knew that she was dying.
“Annie!”
“Annie!”
In a trance, Anastasia seemed to hear someone calling her name with anxiety.
