Hailey’s Point of View

After a few days in the clinic, I was allowed to leave. As if Nurse Ally cares about me.

I walk into the classroom.

“Good morning.” Sir Arthur greets us.

No one even greeted him. They are used to it always being like this.

He has already begun to teach. In the middle of his teaching, President Demon entered.

Sir Arthur shouted, “Carl Demon Lee!”

Demon said, “Don’t you dare call me Carl again.”

He went to the right seat, so we were side by side now.

“I can read what’s on your mind.” The Demon said something, but I ignored him.

“You’re curious why I don’t want to be called Carl anymore.” He added

He said, “I’m a vampire, so I have the ability to read your mind.” I rolled my eyes.

“Do you expect me to believe you? Vampires don’t exist. ” The color of his eyes changed.

“Let’s see if you don’t believe there are vampires.”

It turned red like blood, and when he grinned, I saw his sharp fangs.

“I’ll bite you.” He was threatening me.

“Arghh!” I shouted, so everyone looked at us.

“What’s the matter, Ms. Devereaux?” Sir Arthur asked, surprised.

“He’s a monster.” I said, pointing at the Demon.

They laughed because they thought I was lying.

The Demon said, “Don’t be afraid of me. I won’t bite you.” He chuckled before returning to the chair.

I leaned back in my chair.

“You’re a crazy.” I said, disgustedly.

He gave me a deadly glare, so I avoided looking at him.

“I’m not crazy.” He said, so I covered my ears.

When class was over, I hurried to go out, and I couldn’t wait for Demon to speak.

While walking, Ms. Angel stopped me.

“Do you need anything, Ms. Angel?” I asked her.

“I need your help.” She said, seriously.

“For what?” I asked curiously.

There was a plea in her eyes, and she wanted me to help her.

“I was one of your father’s friends. He wanted to overthrow Vampire University. He sent me here to help you and everyone. ”

I didn’t even try to speak because I didn’t know if I should believe it.

“My father left me when I was young, but why does he want to help me now?” She smiled at me.

She explains, “Listen to me carefully. All he wanted was your best, so he sent me here. We need to find Headmaster Dracilus’ weaknesses to bring them down and free the students. ”

“I don’t know how I can help you.” I’ll admit it.

“Accept the position they want to give you.” She said.

I shook my head in response that I did not agree.

“If you don’t want to do it for me, please do it for your father.” She says it emphatically.

“When you accept the position, it will help a lot to end and destroy the Vampire University.”

“They tried to kill your father, but what they didn’t know was that he survived.” Anger welled up in my body.

“Your father needs your help. Think about what I said. ” She said before finally leaving.

I went for a walk to think about whether I should accept the position as queen because it would help my father.

When I accepted the position, I knew a bigger mess would happen.

I want to help, but is it right that my life is the replacement?

I came back to reality when someone shook me.

“Hello, Hailey! Can you hear me?”

I looked at Alejandra badly because I felt like I was deaf when she shouted in my ear.

“Will you accept the position?” Alejandra asked eagerly.

“Are you planning to accept it?” She added.

“I don’t want to accept, but I know that position will help.” I said, and she was surprised.

I sighed before going to Demon’s office. I hope I’m making the right decision.

“President Demon!” I called him.

“Come in.”

“Let me guess, you’re already accepting the position.” He asked with a playful smirk.

I reluctantly nodded at his question.

He handed me the new uniform I was going to wear.

I went to the comfort room and changed into my uniform. The skirt is shorter now. Gray blouse and a red skirt.

When I had fixed myself, I was out. President Demon leaned near the door.

“It suits your slender body,” he said before walking ahead.

The students are looking at us, and we are the center of attention. I also hear a lot of whispers.

“She has already accepted the position as the new queen.”

“It’s not fair because she’s just a beginner!”

So I could no longer restrain myself and I went in front of them.

“Won’t you stop? You still beat the market with the noise of your mouths. ” The annoyance was obvious on their faces.

They looked down at the plate on my blouse.

“H-Highest Rank 8?” She says, stuttering.

“That’s unfair!” Her friend insisted.

I smirked and said, “Speak up and I’ll put a nail in your mouth to reduce the chatter.”

“S-Sorry.” She says this while trembling.

“Useless. Get out of my way! ”

They ran fast. I restrain myself from laughing.

“Don’t imitate me in speech again.” He grabbed my arm and we left.

We entered an office. The smile faded when i realized that Headmaster Dracilus was also here.

“I don’t expect you to accept the position.” Headmaster Dracilus said.

“You can sit down now.” He added

Before I could sit down, Raine preceded me.

“This is my seat.” She said, while smiling.

“Get out of her seat.” The Demon says this in a cold but horrifying tone.

Raine stood up in her seat, and suddenly she slapped my right cheek.

“That’s for you too, because you stole my position. You’re a thief. ” She says.

My hand moved alone and I slapped her left to right.

“That’s for slapping me and being a villain.” She blushed when I slapped her.

Raine walked over to another chair.

Demon said, “From now on, Hailey Zoe Devereaux will be the new queen of Vampire University. Follow her orders like how you follow me. Hailey is now ranked as high as number eight. That’s my decision. You must respect it and I don’t want to hear anymore questions about it. ”

I frowned while eating cupcakes. I secretly looked at Demon while he was eating fresh meat.

“I’m leaving.” I said.

“Now that you’re the new queen, you’re not allowed to eat with your friends.” Demon said and continued eating.

“What kind of rule is that?” I asked disgustedly.

“It’s the rule, so you have to follow it.”

“Bullshit.” I rolled my eyes and continued eating.

I was shocked when someone poured juice on my clothes, so I’m viscous now.

I stood up to see who had poured on me. Raine’s friend poured me some juice.

“That’s up to you because you hurt Raine.” She says.

She swallowed hard when she saw what was written on the plate.

“I did not mean it.” She says

“Bloody Jail!!!” All the students shouted, and I was surprised.

What’s in Bloody Jail? Why do they seem so eager to land this woman in Bloody Jail?
