Chapter 41 Make It Up

Carl Demon’s Point of View

When I opened my eyes the surroundings were bright. I immediately stood up and shook my head.

My gaze went to a basin with a water and a cloth inside.

I heard a loud knock coming from the door. I went to the door and I opened it.

Raze’s unpaintable face immediately flashed at me.

“What are you doing here and why is your face like that?”

“Don’t you remember last night?”

“What should I remember last night and if I remember anything what do you care?” I asked him.

“Don’t you remember what you did and told at Hailey?”

“What do you mean?” I asked confused.

“Why don’t you try to remember what you did last night?”

(FLASH BACK)

“Elle. Don’t leave me, please. I’m begging you.” I exclaimed.

“Is she the woman Demon first loved and the one buried in the tomb?” A familiar voice asked.

I was blindfolded so I couldn’t see who asked. Even if I wanted to open my eyes I couldn’t.

“Elle.” I said again.

“You really love her?” A familiar voice asked again.

“I loved her.” I answered.

Someone caressed my hair and I felt tears dripping down my cheeks.

“I’m here but why are you looking for her?”

The last question I remembered before I finally fell asleep.

(END OF FLASHBACK)

“Don’t tell me it was Hailey who asked that?” I asked Raze.

“I hope it’s not Hailey but that’s her.”

“The woman you hurt and you hurt over and over again.” He added.

“You stupid Demon! Why did you do that ?! “I blamed myself.

I punched the wall.

“Do you think it will help when you punched that wall?” He asked before disappearing.

“I need to make it up with her.”

I went to the secret place of this university. There is a garden here that no one else knows about.

There are two gardens at the university. The first is the garden that the students already know and the second garden is the hidden garden that they don’t know is the Enchanted Garden.

I had planned to bring Elle here when she was still alive but I never did. The destiny is so unfair but everything changed when Hailey arrived.

Nothing has changed in this place yet. The flowers are still beautiful and fragrant.

I went to the little house that was in this garden. Here are hidden other decorations and different colors of light.

I didn’t even show it to Elle but Hailey will be able to see it.

I have already released the decorations and lights.

I took the large blanket from the box and placed it on the grass. The grasses here are small and not itchy when you touched it.

In the middle of the blanket I placed the flower vase and I also decorated it with roses. Color red and color pink.

Then I put the lights around here all over the place.

I went out of the garden and went back to my office to cook some food.

I know Hailey likes soup so that’s what I’ll cook for her.

I’ve picked up the ingredients and the chicken.

As I slice the ingredients I boil the chicken.Owned by NôvelDrama.Org.

I have combined all the ingredients and it also includes the chicken.

In less than an hour I finished cooking the soup. I covered it and using my power I carefully floated it in the air.

I went out the door and locked my office.

While there were no more students I went to the Enchanted Garden and placed the soup near the blanket.

“Now, it’s almost complete. The only thing missing is Hailey. Everything can’t be completed without her.”

I went straight to her dorm and I knocked.

Agatha opened the door.

“President Demon, what are you doing here?” She asked.

“I want to talk to Hailey. Just the two of us.”

“She doesn’t want to talk to you.”

“Please, Agatha. I have no intention of hurting your friend. I’ll do everything for her.”

“Should I believe you?”

“Believe me. Call her, please.”

She smiled at me and she closed the door.

I heard someone coming down the stairs and approaching the door.

Someone opened the door and I saw Hailey.

“Get that out of here in the dorm, Demon.” Hailey said.

“I’m not leaving here.”

“Why don’t you leave?”

“I’ll only leave here if you come with me.”

“Are you kidding? I’m not going with you.”

“If you don’t want to come, I can’t do anything.”

She floated in the air because of my power.

“President-” I didn’t let Agatha finish speaking.

“You don’t need to worry about her. I will take care of Hailey.”

When we were at the front door of the Enchanted Garden, I let her down.

She was about to run away from me but I grabbed her hand and put her closer to me.

I put my hand on her waist so she could no longer run from me.

“What are we doing here?” She asked.

“Close your eyes first.” I command her.

She immediately closed her eyes and i opened the door of Enchanted Garden.

“Now, you can open your eyes.”

When she opened her eyes it immediately shine.

“Are you surprised?”

“What’s all this for?”

“I’m sorry, Hailey. I didn’t mean to hurt you. I hope that you can forgive me.”

“I know Elle was the first woman I loved but it’s all over. You are the woman I love now and to the end.”

“I admit I hurt you. Hurt me, I won’t stop you. If that’s the only way you can forgive me.”

“You don’t have to do all this to make it up with me. At first I was angry with you but that anger also disappeared.”

“But if I do it for you. I won’t hesitate to do that.”

“Stand up.” She says.

We went in with the blanket and we sat down.

“What’s that smell?”

I removed the cover of the soup and put the soup in the bowl.

“Did you cook it for me?”

“I am the one who cook it for you.”

“Taste it.” I added.

She tasted the soup.

“It tastes so good.” She happily said.

“I can just see your smile makes my heart happy.”
