They quickly arrived at their house. As soon as they entered, they were immediately greeted by her parents and hugged the child. Excessive concern and worrying are obvious to their faces. The policeman who was with them earlier has already left.

Jewel notices the child’s kept distant from her since they left Thunder’s condo. Looks like she was invisible in front of her child’s eyes. When she asks him or talks to him, the child only nods. The nanny was feeding Storm.

Jewel first went to their pool area. She sat down and put her foot in the pool. Only now she has felt tired for some unknown reason.

“You are thinking too much Jewel. He won’t do that and he will never know.” Kevin reassured me.

She just smiled at what her cousin said even though the truth was that she was nervous every time she remembered the face of her ex-husband before. She could see his questioning face him at that moment.

“Don’t think too much. He can’t take your child away from you. You are still the mother of Storm and you are more entitled to your child.” Kevin added.

Her cousin is right. Whoever has more rights to her child is none other than her alone.

“No problem! You are my cousin and Storm is my nephew. I will always help no matter what. Okay? Oh! I need to go home now. I’ll just say goodbye to your mum and dad. And you, get inside the house, it’s already cold here.” he uttered before he walked back inside the house.

Afterwards, she sighed and stayed for a few minutes before finally entering their house.

After she entered, she reached the direction of her parents but she noticed her son wasn’t there so she decided to go upstairs to visit Storm in his room.

When she opened his son’s door, he found him sitting on the bed. Her son automatically looked at her then after a second, lowered his gaze. She walked closer to Storm.

“Storm, are you okay?” She asked gently as she approached the child.

After seconds passed, she got no answer from her son.

She sat down in front of it. “Is something wrong with you? Did Thunder hurt you? You can tell me,” she added but still, the child didn’t answer and just remained the gaze lowered. “Don’t you want to talk to mommy?” She asked.

Her son looked up at her quickly.

“It’s not that I don’t want to talk to you mom. I wanted to. I really want to talk to you but I’m afraid.” Her son admit it

“Why are you afraid to talk to mommy?” she asked.

“I’m not blind mom and I’m not deaf either. I heard the conversation between you and grandma the other day.” her son’s tears began to flow as he stared at her.

“I know you love me and I know also that you hate me. You hate my existence because every time you see me, you see daddy in me and because of that you remember the past.” He added.

It almost tears her heart apart upon hearing those words from her own son. She couldn’t quite imagine how her child felt.

She wasn’t aware that her son knew everything.

“I know I’m the result of your greatest nightmare. I’m the result of daddy’s mistake. I understand if you hate me because I’m also angry with daddy for what he did to you. But mom, I am not him. I’m not daddy. I didn’t hurt you but why do I need to suffer like this? Why do I need to be hated by my own mother? I guess I lived in this world wrong. I’m sorry mom, I’m sorry if I became your child.” he uttered while crying.

Jewel broke into tears at what her son had said. She didn’t know what to say because she got hurt to know that her son was hurting and that was because of what she had done.

She quickly hugged her son,

“Don’t think in that way, Storm,”

She let go of the hug and touched her son’s cheeks.

“I know I have many shortcomings with you and I admit it. I haven’t been a good mother to you but don’t think that mommy doesn’t love you because I love you so much and don’t think that I hate you cause I am not. I don’t blame you for the sin your daddy committed and most of all I don’t regret that you became my child. I’m so blessed to have you in my life, Storm. You have been my strength to live.”

“Sorry for what mom did to you. I’m sorry if you feel that way. Let mommy fill her shortcomings with you.” she added while smiling.

Her son immediately smiled and quickly hugged her. “I will always forgive you mommy cause I love you. For me, you are always the best mom in the world.”

“I love you too, Storm. You will always be my baby.”

“I didn’t expect this day to come,” Storm said.

She smiled because of what his son said. “It’s late already. You need to rest.”

“Can you sleep here beside me, mommy?” her son asked

“If that’s what my baby wants, then I’ll sleep here.”

On the other hand, a young woman is almost lost. “I can’t believe that this is happening, Thunder! I’m not deaf, am I? Jewel really said earlier that Kevin is her boyfriend?” The woman asks while crying.

He just didn’t answer her because even he was surprised to hear what Jewel said. His head was already hurting. He had a lot of questions that he wanted Jewel to answer, especially about her child Storm. He just saw the child for the first time yesterday and he can already see the similarities between the two of us and now he found out that he was Jewel’s child.

“Why is it so easy for her to forget me?” He asks himself.

“It is not his fault, Celine. Haven’t you rejected Kevin’s proposal?” He reminded her.

He knows that Kevin and she have been in a relationship for a long time but when he proposed to her, she rejected it, so he doesn’t know why this woman is acting like this now. She’s the one to blame.

He just let her cry because it’s obvious that she still loves Kevin. She just can’t understand why she didn’t talk to him before. That’s why Dark wasn’t angry to know that the two got separated even though he was the brother of Celine because he knew it was the fault of his sister.

Only one thing is on his mind right now. He wants to know the truth. What happened to Jewel and who Storm’s father is? Because he can’t be at peace until the questions in my mind get answered.

He quickly picked up his phone and sought out the contact of his trusted private investigator. He sent a message that they need to talk to the company tomorrow because he needs to do something.
