4 Years Later …

A young woman was now descending the plane, followed behind her by another woman holding a cute little boy in her left hand.

“Jew, hurry up, Cain is very excited, as if he hadn’t been with us for a long time, he just came home here two weeks ago.” Monique’s complaint

“Don’t be in a hurry Nic, if I know you just miss Cain.” She is teasing her friend

The girl just started her and continued walking.

The decision to go back to the Philippines was not easy for Jewel, and if it wasn’t for Cain’s insistence, especially Calleigh, her best friend, she wouldn’t have agreed to go back.

“Mom, are we now in the Philippines?” the little boy asked

“Yes baby, you will see your papa ninong and tita ninang already and also your grandma and grandpa.” Jewel smiled back at the child.

Her son is only three years old but you can see that he is smart, he is also straightforward when he speaks, and he knows how to speak tagalog. If you look closely at him it is undeniable that he has a resemblance to his father as well as temperament.

As they were walking through the airport they suddenly heard a resounding voice that they knew who it was.

“Mercyl!” the voice shouted

Her best friend quickly approached where they were standing. “I miss you so much.” She said Jewel embraced her.

“I’m sorry if I didn’t get to go there with you, Dark is suspicious of me going to Canada often. So I chose not to go first. Oh hi Monique.” she greeted the girl as she let go of Jewel’s hug

“Hi Calleigh. You look fresh.” Monique’s teased her

“I thought I looked stressed.” She joked

Cali turned her eyes to the little boy who had been staring at her. “How was your flight baby boy? I miss you!” she said and hugged him.

“Hi tita ninang, It’s fine. I miss you too.” the child replied. “Where is papa ninong?” He added

“He’s in the comfort room baby, we’ll just wait for him here.” answer it

The boy immediately nodded when suddenly someone sneezed at their side.

“Hey buddy.” The voice greeted

The boy quickly let go of Calleigh’s hold and quickly went to where Cain was.

“Papa ninong I miss you.” he said as the young man lifted him up

Immediately, Cain walked toward them while the child was being lifted up.

He approached Jewel and he kissed her on the cheek before approaching his girlfriend and kissing her on the lips.

They didn’t stay there long because it was close to lunch so they decided to eat at a nearby restaurant before going home to rest.

FASTFORWARD

Jewel’s Mom POV

It was almost afternoon when Jewel and her son arrived at their house, their parents immediately greeted them. Cain delivered them but he also left immediately with his girlfriend Monique, while Calleigh was the first to leave because she and Dark were still going somewhere.

“Jewel, Can you and my grandson stay her already?”Her mother pleaded

“If you want mom, Storm will be here with the both of you and I will be the one to return to Canada.” Jewel replied

“You can just work here for our company iha.” her father seconded.

“Dad, I love my work there. You know that I want to be successful in the field of my choice and work on my own. I have a restaurant in Canada that needs me. ” she replied to the father and looked at his son as he was busy playing, he really looks like his father.

Then suddenly entered in her mind what she had done before when she found out she was pregnant. She knows she did the wrong thing to have abortion but you can’t blame her because everything she went through was too painful for her. When she gave birth to Storm, she had a hard time and Monique was there to support her as well as her friend Cain.

She also finished her studies and became a full -fledged chief. She also built a restaurant in Canada and plans to build a branch here in the Philippines. She has also been a model for almost a year in the newly released clothes of Monique’s boutique. Her son Storm’s life went smoothly and stable.

As the days went by she became busy with her work so she decided to look for a nanny for her son so that someone would take care of him.

“What are you saying? You are leaving my grandson here. Are you sure about it, Jewel?” her mother asked again.

“Eliza please take Storm upstairs first, we’ll just talk here.” Jewel commanded Storm’s nanny.

Storm immediately looked at his mother as if he understood what she was saying. He is a smart kid and at the age of three he can quickly grasp things. It’s also straightforward when he is talking to someone. Sometimes he also has a puffiness that was taken from his father.

Storm quickly approached him. “Mom, I don’t want to go upstairs.” the little boy said and hugged her

She was surprised by what the boy did.

“Mom, if you go back to Canada, I’ll come with you. I don’t want you to leave me here.” Storm added

“Just go to your room, okay? I will just talk to your grandma and grandpa. You go to your nanny first.” Jewel said, prompting Eliza to take Storm.

Eliza quickly followed and approached the boy, he whispered something to him and immediately went with her upstairs.

“What are you thinking Jewel? Why would you leave your son here?” her mother said after her grandson left.

“Mom, that’s what you want right? But I can’t stay here for long. That’s why I said I’ll just leave Storm with you.” She said

“How can you say you’re going to leave your child here? Your daddy and I didn’t raise you to be like this. That’s your child Jewel!” Her mother emphasized .

“Mom I love my son, I love Storm. I won’t leave him here for nothing. You think I don’t care? Mom, I care.”  she defended herself

“You love your son? We all know that your love for your son is not complete. Don’t play games with us Jewel.” her mother said in her angry voice

“And what do you think I should do mom? You know what I’ve been through, it’s not easy for me to have a child especially whenever I see Storm I can see Thunder in him.”

“I’m so disappointed in you Jewel. You almost aborted him back then and now you are planning to leave him here?” her father voice of disappointment

“I know dad, I know what I did was wrong then but can you blame me during those times? I don’t know what I’m going to do, just the thought of carrying Thunder’s child is giving me a hard time. But I corrected it. I raised the child! I cared and loved my son.” she explained

“You just raised, fed and gave him everything he wanted, Jewel. But you know in yourself you have many shortcomings in your child. You know you have a lack of care and love to him” her father said

“Remember this Jewel, he’s not Thunder! Don’t blame the child for his father’s mistake. You and Thunder have a problem, Storm is out there.” her the mother said angrily

“You’re changing little by little, your anger is eating  you. Do you want to go back to Canada alone? All right, go back and leave Storm here so that my grandson can feel the true love that you can’t give him in full, you know what if you can’t love your son completely, give him to his father.” her mother added before leaving and went upstairs.

Jewel just sat down. She didn’t expect this to happen.

“Fix your life my daughter, Storm doesn’t deserve it. He needs a mother who will love him wholeheartedly.” her father added before following her mother

‘What have I done wrong? I give everything to my son. Yes, I know sometimes I have shortcomings too, but I can’t bear to be with Storm for a long time or often because he grows up to look like Thunder, but even so, he still loves his son. ‘ – she thought to herself
