Unwanted Wife – English

A few days later when Jewel’s condition improved, this is also the day when she can leave the hospital and go home. During the few days she stayed there she was often with Monique, they also became close.

She also stayed in the hospital for almost three weeks to make sure that her baby and I were really okay and in those days her friend Cain was ignoring her. She also tried to talk to him a few times but she was just like air to the young man.

“Did you fix your things?” Cain asked

“Yes I already did.” She answered

“Good, let’s go.”

Jewel could do nothing but just follow him, she has been used to him treating her like this since the incident happened to her.

We had a quick trip and now we are here in the condo where we live.

FASTFORWARD

It’s been two weeks since Jewel got out of the hospital, but they still Can continue ignoring her. She did everything just to talk to him but the young man always made excuses. She tried everything to approach him but it still looks like he is angry with her so she is very sad because of it. She also tried to cook his favorite food but the young man didn’t even pay attention to it.

Jewel is currently on the veranda to breathe fresh air. Cain is not there now because he accompanied Monique and she didn’t know where.

While Cain and Monique were together in a restaurant, they had just finished attending a fashion event so before going home, they decided to eat first.

As they waited for their order Monique suddenly spoke. “Are you worried about her? Why don’t you call her now?” she asked the young man who was busy fiddling with the phone as if someone wanted to call.

The young man immediately put his phone down on the table. “What are you saying? And who?”

“Cain you don’t need to deny it. I know you’re worried about Jewel.” Monique said

“Look Cain, I know I have no right to interfere in whatever problem you two have, but I think this is too much. It’s been many weeks already but you’re still not getting back to treating her as well as before.” Monique added seriously

“If you think I’m mad at her, you are wrong Nique. I’m just upset and at the same time disappointed. I know Jewel very well and I just don’t expect her to be able to do that thing.” defense of the young man

“I get your point, okay if that’s the case. But do you think she deserves your cold treatment towards her? She is doing everything to approach you, to please you but you’re tough. She even cooked your favorite food but did you eat or taste it even a little?  I bet you didn’t.  You are too much Cain. You are punishing your friend! You told me that Jewel is precious to you because she’s like a sister to you but look at what you are doing to her. You’re hurting her because of the way you treated her. You don’t notice that she’s often quiet, when we’re together she distances herself. You don’t notice that Cain because you feel more dominant with your feelings. ” Monique’s lengthy statement

“Cain doesn’t think that I’m siding on her, but that’s what I see. You’re losing the one you used to have. Now she needs us,  he needs you more as a friend and as a brother. Don’t turn back to her. ” She added

Cain was silent and did not say a word because he knew in himself that everything Monique said was right. He became selfish because he put his feelings before her friend.

Their order arrived and they started eating. And when they finished they quickly left the restaurant, Cain even took some food to give it to Jewel.

“Are you going home now?” Cain asked as they walked to the parking lot

“I’ll be meeting my friends, can you just drop me off at the boutique?” Monique answered.

The young man nodded and they got into the car together. It also took them about 30 minutes to arrive at the boutique.

“Thank you Cain! Be safe to drive and talk to Jewel.” She said as she waved her hand as a goodbye

“I will, I have to go.” the young man replied and he began to drive again.

He quickly got to the condo, as soon as he entered he put the purchased food in the kitchen and went to Jewel’s room to talk about it, but when he entered she did not find anything.

He circled the entire corner of the condo, thinking that her friend was just there. He also called Jewel several times and sent her a message but she did not answer. He can’t be bothered until he sees the girl.

On the other hand, the girl was walking with mcdo, donuts and cakes. She is back in the condo now because she went out to buy food because she suddenly craved. She had nothing else to order so she decided to take the initiative to buy them for her. Unbeknownst to her, a friend had been looking for him and calling him. She didn’t bring her phone.

As soon as she entered their unit, she was immediately greeted by Cain’s tight embrace.

The young man immediately let go of the girl’s embrace. “Where did you go? I’ve been looking for you.” He said

The girl walked in and laid her food on the table on the sofa. “Because I was craving, so I went down first to buy this food.” Jewel replied

“You should have just called me, so that I will be the one to buy it for you.” Cain said

“It’s okay, I can still do it and walking is another exercise.” She said laughing

The young man went to the kitchen to get the food he had brought for the girl, he transferred it to the plate and he arranged it on the tray and walked back to the sofa where her friend was sitting.

He laid it in front of the girl and she looked at him questioningly. “Eat it, it’s more nutritious.”

“I don’t want to bother you anymore, you know there’s still food here.” Jewel said as she bent down as if ashamed of the person she was talking to.

The young man immediately sat down next to her, he had wanted to talk to her earlier because he knew the last conversation they had at the hospital was not good.
