Chapter 30: Just a Househusband
Chapter 30: Just a Househusband
The next morning, a ray of golden sunlight shone from the window onto Greta's long sexy eyelashes.
She opened her beautiful eyes slowly.
The alarm clock rang out and woke up the beautiful Greta. She rubbed her bleary eyes and stretched
herself.
A strange warmth made her feel comfortable. Her waist didn't hurt anymore.
To her surprise, it didn't hurt as usual.
Could it be because he gave her a massage last night?
Greta was doubtful. The massage she had last night had surprisingly good effect. Her waist and lower
abdomen didn't hurt anymore.
Greta wore a nightgown and she was drowsy. She walked down the stairs in sandals. She saw Harriet
and Leila sitting beside the dining table and eating breakfast.
Greta sat down beside Harriet and said meaningfully, "Greta, do you get up so late every day?" Content © NôvelDrama.Org.
"So what?" Greta picked up a sandwich and didn't care about that.
"When you studied at the Pennsylvania Business School, you had a regular routine. If the media knew
that the No. 1 business beauty in Ocean City was sloppy at home, many people would get
heartbroken," Harriet said impolitely.
Greta glared fiercely at Harriet, "Harriet, you didn't learn anything except to mock me after spending so
many years overseas?"
"Of course not." Harriet glanced at Greta's plump breasts. "Although your size is bigger than that of
many women in China, it is no different from the A Cup overseas."
"Don't be crazy." Greta glanced at Harriet. Maxwell took the opportunity to curry favor with Greta and
smiled, "Ms. Greta is busy with work; she needs more sleep."
Greta glanced at Maxwell and it was rare for her to not feel disgusted.
After breakfast, Greta spent half an hour dressing up in front of the dressing mirror. She wore a silver
dress and then walked down from the second floor, leaving the villa.
Greta walked to the entrance of the villa. Her phone rang. Greta frowned and answered the phone.
Then she became angry.
"No! I don't agree!"
Greta argued with the person for a while. She was furious. She turned around and glared at Maxwell
angrily.
"Ms. Greta, what's wrong?" Maxwell, who was sitting beside the dining table, was confused.
"Come with me to the group. Someone invited you over for tea!" Greta gritted her teeth tightly. She
didn't understand why she had to bring him along with her!
She didn't understand what the person was thinking about but had to obey the person's orders.
"OK." Maxwell was in a daze. Then he regained his sense. He was ecstatic. Greta took the initiative to
bring him to the group!
He had never thought of this treatment. Leila looked at Maxwell and sneered.
From her point of view, Maxwell tricked Greta last night, gained her trust, and approached Greta step
by step.
Leila hated Maxwell and wanted to find an opportunity to expose him!
Maxwell didn't waste time. He grabbed a sandwich and a carton of milk, and ran towards Greta who
had left the villa.
Leila's driving skills were superb. As the vice-captain of the Task Force, she was proficient in tanks,
planes, and all kinds of vehicles. Driving a car was easy for her.
The traffic was heavy during the morning rush hours. Although Leila drove the car fast, Greta and
Maxwell were comfortable and it wasn't bumpy.
Greta and Maxwell sat in the back seats. Greta's bag was placed in the middle as a boundary. Maxwell
was not allowed to touch the bag. Otherwise, Greta would ask Maxwell to sit in the front passenger
seat.
Maxwell was boring. He couldn't help but stare at Greta's beautiful legs with black stockings.
"Haven't you seen enough?" When Maxwell was fascinated by her legs, Greta said coldly and angrily.
Maxwell was shocked.
When he looked up, he noticed that Greta became angry, looked at him coldly and frowned.
"Ms. Greta, I saw a mosquito on your leg," Maxwell smiled embarrassedly. Greta crossed her arms
over her chest and looked down coldly at him.
How could she believe his excuse?
Greta frowned and felt disgusted. She stretched out her hand and pushed Maxwell's head away.
Leila looked straight ahead. She glanced at the rearview and saw what he did. She was more certain of
her judgment last night.
Although Maxwell smiled embarrassingly, he looked at Leila meaningfully. Leila and Greta didn't notice
that.
He did it to deceive Leila. How could he not know Leila's thoughts?
Half an hour later, the Maybach stopped at the entrance of the Sandoval Tower slowly. The door was
opened. Maxwell stepped out of the car. He covered the roof with one hand and extended another
hand into the car.
Greta stretched out her snow-white slender hand and placed it on Maxwell's. She stepped out of the
car and stood on the floor with a crisp sound. Greta was eye-catching at the entrance of the Sandoval
Tower.
Everyone knew Greta. She was the beautiful president of the Sandoval Group, but who was the man
beside her?
Many employees of the Sandoval Group looked at Maxwell and felt confused. Why this sloppy, bearded
man with a lewd smile could hold the hand of Greta?
Who was he?
Some employees felt familiar with Maxwell. Then they recalled he was Greta's weak husband.
This piece of news was spread quickly. They looked at Maxwell meaningfully with disdain.
"Hurry up." Greta threw Maxwell's hand away with disgust. She rushed towards the elevator. She didn't
want anyone to know about her and Maxwell.
"Let's go." Leila urged. Maxwell stared at Greta and smiled. Then he caught up with her.
When Maxwell and Leila arrived at the top floor, they followed Melissa into the reception room. They
saw Derrick and Hal sitting in the reception room and chatting happily.
"Dad, why did you ask me and Maxwell here?" Greta crossed her arms over her chest and asked in an
attractive voice.
Derrick looked at Greta and smiled, "I heard that our group and the YH Group have reached an
agreement, so I invite Hal to drink tea. I was busy with some matters of the board of directors, so I
didn't have time to welcome Hal. I invite Hal to drink tea to welcome him."
"Greta, you've done a good job. Working with the YH Group, the Sandoval Group has a chance to
become the leading enterprise in China. The stock has risen by a large margin for several days."
"Why did you ask him over?" Greta crossed her arms over her chest and frowned.
"Hal said he wanted to see him." Derrick looked at Hal.
Hal smiled and said, "When I met Mr. Maxwell, I was surprised by his culinary skills. I want to return his
favors with this cup of tea."
Maxwell smiled embarrassingly and said humbly, "Mr. Hal, I only know how to cook and do housework.
How can I accept your favor?"
Hal looked at Maxwell meaningfully. He remembered what Maxwell had said to him that night and the
pain he had suffered!
He would never forget that. He would have Maxwell pay back later! Maxwell would be screwed.
The Sandoval family was powerful and they could even be included in the top rich list overseas. But in
Hal's eyes, they were like an ant that could be destroyed with a flick of his finger!
"He's just a househusband. Hal, you're welcome. How could you owe him a favor?" Greta said. Hal
was somebody in this city. Maxwell would never be as outstanding as Hal. Hal would by no means owe
Maxwell a favor.
