“Stop wasting much time and come out Ariel.” Mia screamed from the dining area

“But I don’t want to go to school Mummy.”

The next thing was trying to get ready, she had already taken care of Ariel. During lunch break, she can find out more about Antonio and possibly ask him to visit them just to make Ariel happy. She also planned to leave work early to pick Ariel from school do that they could go to the animal shelter.

She got into her bath tub and began to wash her body, hoping she could be dressed before the next 30 minutes.

“Mummy I’m done. Hurry up or else I will be late.” Mia screamed from the dining area to her mother who was still applying get makeup. Mia who was surprised to hear her daughter finished so early, hurried up with her make up and left her room immediately.

She met Ariel having breakfast, she was all dressed up and ready making her mother real surprised.

“You’re done so quick? Did you dress appropriately?”

“Yes, Mother. Please sit and have your breakfast or you will be the reason for my reason.”

Mia breathed hard as she hoped she was doing the right decision but she loved her daughter and will do anything for her.

“Mummy?” Ariel called.

“Are you worried about me?”

” I love you too mum. Hurry up and finish your breakfast. I will get a spare pencil then wait for you at the driveway.”

“Spare me your scoldings now, I want to enjoy this moment.” Mia said before leaving.

She finished the last slice of toast and quickly brushed her teeth before leaving bthe house. Ariel was already waiting for her. Together they walked the few meters to get a cab.

“Mummy please get a car. I don’t the idea of struggling for a cab after having a good breakfast.”

“One request at a time, young lady.” She laughed as she held Ariel’s tiny fingers.

They got a taxi in no time. Mia dropped Ariel off first before going to the office.

” Did you get my message Mia?” Mr. Lawry, the managing director asked immediately she entered the office building.

” Huh? Sorry. Good morning sir. What message are you talking about?”

” Check your email, Mia. The board of directors are coming and we are having a meeting in the next 5 minutes.”

” 5 Minutes?” She was already panting.

” No need to panick. While you were away we had a meeting with them. They will be here to sign and finalize the deal.” He assured her.

She let out a sigh in relief but still felt anxious, she had heard a lot about the board of directors but have never met any.

There were about 4 cars, the first was a Lamborghini which I loved. It was red and looked elegant, the remaining 3 were classy but I couldn’t remember their names.
