Unexpected Reunion: My Baby Daddy Returns

He stood outside her house constantly checking his watch as if he was expecting someone. Not up to 5 minutes, a black range rover pulled in front of him.

He rushed to enter without waiting for the driver to get the car for him. The car drove off immediately.

” Have you gotten the codes?” He asked immediately , he got inside and was seated comfortably.

“Yes sir. I’m tracing the vehicle now.” Aaron Answered. He was still wearing the same suit he had in the morning.

” Not sure sir but it looks like it’s heading to an abandoned site.”

” Inform the police and my personal security about this.” Antonio ordered.

“Already done that. I also gave them the address too. They will be there soon.” He informed.

She was seated on his lap drawing imaginary lines on his bare chest when his phone rang, he thought of ignoring the call but he felt it was going to be important so he took it.

Just like he thought, it was important. The call was from the head kidnapper.

“Boss…you can come over now. She has been tied up.” He said.

“That’s great. I will meet you there soon, I hope you are not followed?” Wilson asked.

” Yes Boss. I made sure to change the cars at every traffic point.”

” That’s good. Keep her while I come.”

He ended the call and turned to her gleaming with smiles, he had a proud look on his face and she knew it was good news.

” They have her right?” She asked with a charming smile that he loved.

His face saddened immediately,

” Can’t someone surprise you? I didn’t even tell you to guess what happened.”

” I’m sorry about that, you know I’m really anxious about these things.”

” They have her already. We can go together to check it out.” He answered, putting on his clothes while she smoked.

They were ready after some time and stepped out with Charlotte on the wheels driving at high speed.

She was still on the ground, not sure she was still asleep. The young men left her hands and ankles tied so that she wouldn’t escape even if she got the chance.

“What do we do to her?”

” We wait till she’s awake. The boss wants to harm to come to her.” He answered, he wore old jeans that were torn on the knees, the t-shirt was far from being white; it was now brown with dust and dirt. As he opened his huge mouth, his teeth were stained brown from frequent tobacco smoking and about 4 have pulled off from a fight which left a bad and ugly scar on the left side of his face. The scar drew from below his eyelids to his jaw. He looked scary and dangerous and his heart was similar to that.

The other guy, who had spoken earlier, was the youngest and least affected gang member. He looked like he was naive. There was also no scar on his body or face but he had an imposing look. The huge muscular body frame made him look fearful.

” Are you sure she isn’t awake? It was an hour drive here.”

” Don’t talk about the drive. She might be playing smart on us.”

” Don’t worry about it. Her hands and ankles are tied tightly. She can’t ever think of escaping.”

” You’re right. Come along and let’s have lunch together. Who knows what will happen if the boss comes here.”

They left the room after bolting it from outside, she listened carefully until she didn’t hear a whisper or footsteps.

Once she was sure they were gone, she got up gently and sat on the dusty floor. It looked like an abandoned warehouse which must have been abandoned recently.

She coughed violently as she inhaled dust particles while she looked around, there was no windows. No wonder she was choking.

Only one door and it was locked from outside, she gave up the hope of finding a way to escape.

No wonder the men have been so confident that she won’t escape, she thought.

All she could do now was wait to know who had ordered her kidnap. Her mind narrowed to Charlotte, she was definitely the one responsible for this. Only Charlotte was capable of trying to kill her.

The thought of Charlotte wanting her dead made her scared, she didn’t want to die especially leaving Ariel behind. How will Ariel feel? Ariel was so attached to her.

Talking about Ariel, had she yet realized that she was missing?

No, she thought.

It was too early, it wasn’t even up to two hours. Thinking about the time made Mia fear so much, she thought about what Charlotte will do to her child, including Wilson who was another enemy that she had.

How about Antonio? Did he asli realize that she was missing? All those questions flooded her mind and she didn’t have answers to them. Just thinking about it made her worry so much that she felt her blood pressure was going to rise up at any time.

She thought of untying the ropes used on her but they were so tight that she could tell blood wasn’t flowing through her wrist and her ankle. These men were skilled, evil and heartless too.

She hadn’t even had breakfast and now her stomach was rumbling with hunger. She won’t have gotten bothered about it but now she had skipped dinner the previous day because of what transpired that evening. Now she felt she was going to faint soon since she was already feeling dizzy and also the dust in the room was choking her so much that she felt she could stop breathing at any point in time.

She tried hard to breathe, keeping her eyes wide open as long as she could because she was scared she was going to give up at any time, after some minutes she couldn’t continue again.

Her eyes closed and her breathing stopped, she fell down on her forehead.
