Immediately they got home, he left a text for Antonio while he walked Into the house not fully aware of what Piper and her mother were talking about.
” Please freshen up mother. I will ask the maids to prepare something for you.” Piper requested.
Piper, as she was called by everyone wasn’t Mrs. Alastor’s biological daughter, it got to the point where she wanted a girl child so badly when Antiono was two and she was told she couldn’t give birth to a child due to a health condition that wasn’t exposed.
With the help of her private doctor, she had to speak to the orphanage and that was when little Piper came to the Alastor’s family. Since she entered, Piper had never been treated indifferently but has been showered with love and material gifts.
After Mrs. Alastor had left the room, Piper pulled Aaron closer.
” Now spill it.” She ordered.
” What are you talking about?” He looked at her in an inquisitive manner. She had those big eyeballs Mia had, the same color Antonio had noticed when he met Mia for the first time.
” I’m talking about Antonio, you two are surely up to something.” She answered in a plain manner, without stammering or thinking.
” Not now again now Piper. You are fond of doing this.”
” Don’t judge me. I can smell something is going on between you two.”
The door flung open and Antonio stormed inside in anger, his countenance was enough to drive the unnecessary questions they wanted to ask.

” She’s in her room, probably having a shower.”
” I will meet up with her later, for now Aaron please come with me.”

They turned sharply to look at her, wondering what she was driving at.
” This doesn’t concern you, Piper. Get something to do or better still go out with friends.” He instructed sharply.
” Mia Sabastine. That’s her name right?” She asked again.
He was confused and at the same time astonished, he turned to look at Aaron but he had the same confused expression as his.
“Where did you get the Information from?”
” I have my findings , Antiono brother. The child she has, it’s yours.” She exposed.
The shock on Antiono’s face was all, he was more shocked to know about it than knowing Piper had been spying on them.

” Tell me the truth, ”
” Isn’t it obvious, you both had a wonderful time together and you met again. Ariel is about 5 years old. Think about it.”
” She was engaged to the asshole Wilson, Piper.”
“How do you know so much, you frighten me.” It came from Aaron this time.
” Like I said, I have my reliable findings. Won’t it interest mum to know her favorite and only son has a daughter , that too with another woman who is the sister of Charlotte.” This was too much, Piper was becoming more rude and proud.
That was it, Antiono was frightened. Piper knew everything even more than he knew.
This was too much information that he didn’t like.
“Try a DNA test without her knowledge and we would know who’s telling the truth.”
” Why do you want to do a DNA test?”
They turned to look immediately, it was Mrs. Alastor.
She repeated her question and nobody had an answer except Piper.
” Well mother…it’s a young lady who Aaron is in love with, she claims her daughter is Aaron’s own.”

” Don’t bother yourself mother, a simple DNA test can prove Aaron isn’t the father.”
” It better be a false Information, I won’t want anyone coming into this family with a child.”
All eyes were on Antonio, he had gotten some of the answers he needed.
” What was so important that you had to leave? I tried calling your phone and look you have bandages on. Did something bad happen?”
” Mother, can we talk about this later?”
” Immediately you tell me how you got injured,”
” If you must know. I got so angry that I transferred the aggression on my car windscreen.”

” She did that, in Ariel’s presence?”
” No…after she sent Ariel away.”
“So it was after she received a call.”
” Yes…her phone rang and she went away. She came back looking quite scared and agitated. She couldn’t even look into my eyes.”

Then it dawned on him, Aaron was right. The call did the trick, but whose call wasn’t.

“Please talk to her nicely and make her understand. She’s the only one who can help me.”

” Okay. Send me Mia’s address. I don’t think I remember where she stays.”

She left with Piper as she wondered what was happening to her son, he had changed. Maybe the City was having a huge effect on him and it was affecting home negatively.

” I overheard them talking about DNA. Although Piper had said it was Aaron she was referring to. I believe she’s lying. Aaron isn’t someone who would want a serious relationship, at least not now.”

She fell silent suddenly, her suspicions had slowly turned out to be reality.
