Chapter 359
As the CEO of Titan Corporation, Xavier definitely wasn't short of money.
With this thought in mind, Terrence drove straight to Titan Corporation.Published by Nôv'elD/rama.Org.
At first, he was worried that Xavier might refuse to see him, but after he spoke to the receptionist and the secretary of the CEO's office, he was surprisingly allowed to go upstairs.
Unbeknownst to Terrence, the person sitting in the CEO's office wasn't Xavier, but Jeremiah.
"My brother-in-law!" Terrence called out to the distinguished-looking Jeremiah in front of him.
Jeremiah looked up at him. "What brings you here?"
"I wanted to ask you for some financial support to revive Snyder Group."
Rufus had transformed what had once been a small factory into Snyder Group and subsequently become the richest man in Tirion and a legend in the north. However, the company had declined under James' management and gone bankrupt.
Terrence was unwilling to accept this outcome. If his grandfather could create a legend, why couldn't he?
Jeremiah had already suspected that Terrence had come to ask him for money.
Jackie had investigated Terrence and found that he'd frequently sought help from Xavier after the latter and Yvette had gotten married. However, Xavier had always disliked Terrence and refused to help. Jeremiah hadn't thought that Terrence would try his luck again.
"Xavier, I know you truly care about Yvette. If you agree to support me, I promise I'll persuade her to stop causing trouble and asking you for a divorce," Terrence said.
He'd asked Xavier for assistance numerous times before, only to be refused each time. This time, he'd
dared to come because he'd seen how Xavier had recently stood up for Yvette.
As a man himself, he knew that a man would only go for such lengths for a woman if he cared deeply
about her.
Jeremiah tapped his slender fingers on the desk and listened quietly before finally speaking. "Have Yvvy come and talk to me, and I'll help you."
Terrence's eyes lit up with joy. "Alright, I'll go get her right away." He hurriedly left the office without staying a second longer.
The moment he left, Jackie frowned and asked, "Mr. Jeremiah, are you really going to help him? Based on my investigation, he's nothing but an idiot. "He doesn't have the late Mr. Synder Senior's qualities. Giving him money is like throwing it down the drain."
Jeremiah was well aware of that. However, he wanted to see Yvette.
He'd once thought that Yvette would definitely come to find him and question him about everything as soon as he'd returned. Alas, she never showed up. Even now that she knew he and Xavier weren't the same person, she hadn't come to confront him. Jeremiah didn't answer Jackie's question.
In Sangine County, Yvette made a list of potential local business partners. However, she didn't have an agent in the country. "Boss, should I come back?" Cynthia suggested.
Since Yvette disliked public appearances, Cynthia handled many deals, leaving Yvette to work behind the
scenes.
"Sure, thank you. I'll give you a raise," Yvette replied.
"Don't worry about that."
Cynthia immediately booked a flight after she hung up the phone.
After handling work matters, Yvette sat on the couch, ready to close her eyes and rest for a moment. Suddenly, the door was pushed open from the outside, allowing the chilly breeze in.
She opened her eyes and saw Xavier with several bodyguards in suits behind him. "What's all this?" she questioned him.
"Bodyguards. Pick one to take Zac to school from now on. The rest can protect you," Xavier replied.
Yvette glanced over. Though she didn't judge people by their appearance, the bodyguards in front of her weren't particularly pleasing to the eye.
"There's no need. Ray alone is

enough to take Zac to school and protect me," Yvette insisted. Xavier thought for a moment before saying, "I don't trust Ray."
