Chapter 350
The car slowed down to a stop at the entrance of Seasons Hotel.
Sitting in the car, Kiki stared at the inside of the hotel. Emotions swirled in her. Forcing herself to calm down, she alighted from the car with Zachary. Yvette got out of the car too. Zachary looked at his watch. It was almost time, but the man wasn't here yet!
Did he not want to earn money? What a bad service! If Zachary could leave feedback somewhere about the man, he would surely give the man zero stars!
On the other hand, Kiki hadn't taken his words seriously. After all, how could a kid find her a plus-one who was better than Leonard?
She looked over her shoulder at Yvette. "Yvvy, I'm so nervous."
Yvette stepped forward to hold her hand. "Relax. I'm here with you."
All these years, Kiki hadn't gotten into a new relationship because of Leonard-not that she hadn't had any suitors; she had turned all of them down.
Back when she had just returned to the country, the first thing she had done was look for Leonard. But when she had found him, he had already had a girlfriend.
Now, they were going to tie the knot, and Leonard had even invited Kiki to the wedding!
There were other ways to make Kiki get over him; he could've done better.
With Yvette's words of assurance, Kiki finally took another stride, heading into the hotel.
They reached the lobby, and Kiki saw the wedding photo. The bride, Camila Alba, looked beautiful in white as she stood next to Leonard.
Yvette saw it too, only to be surprised that Camila looked similar to Kiki.
"She's pretty," Kiki muttered.
It broke Yvette's heart to hear that. "You're prettier."
Zachary held Kiki's hand. "Yes, Mom. You're prettier."
The word "Mom" pulled Kiki's soul back to her body. Alternating her gaze from left to

right at the two, she let out a genuine smile. Alright. I get that. Let's go inside."
As Yvette and Zachary each held one of her hands, she thought, "So what if I don't have a man? I have Yvvy and Zach with me.
On their way into the hall, they bumped into Leonard, who was welcoming the guests by the door. His parents were there, too.
His eyes lost focus for a moment when he saw Kiki, but he managed to school his expression into a cold one immediately. "You're here."
"Yeah." She nodded in acknowledgment. "I bought a fridge as a gift. It will arrive soon. I hope you like it."
Leonard didn't reply to that. Instead, his eyes were fixated on Zachary, who was holding Kiki's hand. Just as he was going to ask something, his parents approached them.
"Oh, Kiki, what brings you here?" Leonard's mother, Olivia Brown, was worried that Kiki would ruin the wedding. She knew how much Kiki loved Leonard.Exclusive © content by N(ô)ve/l/Drama.Org.
"It's Leo's wedding today. Don't you think it's already too late for you to win his heart back? Thanks for the gift, though." Olivia explicitly drew the line. But of course, she gladly accepted the gift from Kiki. Kiki's tone was cold as she replied, "Leonard invited me over. Did you not know?"
Olivia gulped. She hadn't been aware of that. She flashed a smile and lowered her voice. "Kiki, we adore you. I told Leo about this many times, but he's stubborn as a bull. He insisted on marrying Camila. Still, you can keep in touch with him after this." Kiki was baffled upon hearing that. What was Olivia trying to say?
Before Kiki could digest it, Yvette stepped forward. "Are you finding a mistress for your son?"
Olivia's eyes widened. "How could you put it in such a repulsive way? Men can have female friends too." She failed to notice the hint of anger in Yvette's expression.
