Chapter 324
When Daphne heard Jeremiah telling her to kneel in front of Yvette, she was shocked. She looked at him in disbelief as she clenched her fists tightly.
If Yvette and Andy hadn't released the video and destroyed her reputation, she wouldn't have become so miserable. Now, Jeremiah was actually making her kneel and apologize to Yvette. However, when she thought about what Xavier had done to her, she had no choice but to agree to it. "Alright. I'll go to her now."
She didn't even remember how she got out of Dewberry Manor.
Right after she left, Jackie asked in confusion, "Mr. Jeremiah, why are you forcing her to apologize to Yvette? You've never gotten along with Mr. Xavier. Are you going to protect his wife now?" Right after she said that, she suddenly felt uneasy. Jeremiah, who had always been gentle, was actually looking at her coldly. "You have no idea, Jackie."
She didn't know about Jeremiah's past with Yvette at all, and that was the first time she didn't dare to ask about it. "In that case, I'll get someone to follow Daphne and watch her apologize."
"Yeah."
The two of them didn't stay in Dewberry Manor for long after that. Right after they left, Xavier and Mark entered the manor through a secret passage. Mark hadn't thought the passage that Xavier had built back then would actually prove useful now.
Xavier might've lost his memories, but when he returned to the manor, he had a feeling where the classified documents might be hidden. It didn't take long for them to find it.
While they were on their way back, Xavier passed the documents to Mark. The latter was shocked. "Mr. Lane, maybe you should go through them yourself."
"I trust that you won't betray me," Xavier said.
"Yes, sir." Then, Mark finally dared to look at the documents.
After going through a few pages, he finally realized Xavier's private savings were way more than it seemed.
Xavier had countless assets in other countries. Not even the whole Titan Corporation could compare to what he had. Mark truly followed the right person.
"You can quit now and start a new company." Xavier leaned his back against the seat. "I want to prepare a great gift for my child and Yvvy before the child is born." Mark also suggested launching a new company before, but Xavier had thought that they didn't have enough funds to do so.
If he had done it, the new company would definitely have been as great as Titan Corporation, if not better.
"Yes, sir."
Mark was excited at that moment.
Back then, he had followed Xavier as
they had turned an average
company into Titan Corporation. If they started another company,

While they were on their way home, Mark was extremely pumped. However, Xavier was calm. Launching a new company was nothing special to him.
At that moment, he received a call and thought it was Yvette. So he was excited, and he immediately picked it up. However, that joy on his face faded away immediately.
"Xav, I'm sure you've seen the news
recently. Be nice, and stay with Yvette. If you guys need anything, you can give me a call. However, you must never expose Jeremiah. He's holding our family together right now. Shannon had decided to call Xavier to talk about this after hesitating for a long time.
"You know how your grandfather is. He would never let a blind person take over Lane Group. So, this is the only plan I have."
They would never let a blind person take over the company. However, everyone had been afraid of Xavier before he had become blind. So, no one dared to question the identity of the person in the spotlight. Xavier silently listened to Shannon, looking calm. Since he had no memories, he didn't have any feelings toward her at all. So when he heard her say that she was basically abandoning him, he didn't feel sad. "Don't worry. I'm not going to expose him."
He paused for a moment before coldly saying, "But I hate being replaced. I'll find a way to get back my identity. If I can't do it, I'll kill him! I'm not going to live in the shadows with Yvette forever."
When Shannon heard that, she was stunned. "How could you say that, Xav? Jerry's your brother."
"That's why I said that I wouldn't expose him."
Shannon wanted to say something else, but he had already ended the call. Suddenly, she felt like Xavier was scarier now that he had lost his memories. After all, he didn't care about the people close to him at all.
