Unbreakable Love His Passion for Her Transcends Death

Chapter 313

Back at the restaurant's entrance, Yvette hurriedly pulled her hand back from Claude's face. "I was young back then and didn't know what I was doing."All content © N/.ôvel/Dr/ama.Org.

She had only been a few years old and hadn't known about keeping her distance from other boys at all. Back then, Claude had been short and chubby. He hadn't even been as tall as Yvette.

She had treated him like a younger brother. Everytime Viola had made something tasty, Yvette had taken some for him..

Now, he was taller than her by a head, and he looked dashing. Most importantly, he seemed so regal that no woman wouldn't dare to place her hands on his face.

As Claude looked at Yvette keeping her distance, he seemed lonely. "You don't have to have everything when you're with me."

He remembered how he hadbeen freezing during the winter when he had been young. Yvette was the one who had brought him clothes and food and made him happy. If it hadn't for her, he would've frozen to death or gotten killed.

However, Yvette shook her head. "We all need to learn to be sensible. If we're too childish, people will find ús annoying."

She had been too immature and insensible in the past, That was how she had ended up marrying someone who didn't love her and was also the reason why people had been disgusted by her. Suddenly, Claude regretted not being able to take her with him when he had left Sangine County back then.

He also should've returned before she had gotten married. He figured that if he had found her before she had gotten married, she definitely wouldn't be so careful around him now.

With that thought in mind, he got closer to Yvette and suddenly asked, "Yvvy, shall we-"

Before he could ask her to be with him, they heard a familiar, cold voice from the distance. "Darling."

Yvette looked toward the source of the voice and saw Xavier and Mark standing near them. Mark was staring at her with a ferocious gaze.

Xavier walked to her confidently. Although he couldn't see anything, he was still able to grab her hand in one try.

Then, he held her hand tightly. "Why are you taking so long to buy the pierogies, darling? I was worried about you."

Since he couldn't see, he pretended not to know that Claude was next to Yvette. He continued saying, "Why are your hands so cold? Shall I warm them up for you?"

Yvette's blood was boiling at that moment because of what he was doing and saying. She blushed brightly in front of Claude as she embarrassedly tried to get out of Xavier's grasp.

However, Xavier wouldn't let go at all. With a strong tug, he immediately pulled her into his embrace."

Darling, why is your body so cold too? I'll warm you up when we get back later." (1

If they had been alone at that moment, she would've cursed at him right there and then. She pinched

Xavier's waist hard with her empty hand. "My friend is here. Watch yourself."

He endured the pain and didn't let her go. "What friend?" His tone turned cold.

Claude hadn't expected Xavier to be actually blind and realized that the news was fake. He didn't know how Xavier had been able to twist the facts.

He coldly looked at Xavier and said, "Mr. Lane, I'm Claude Lander, and I grew up with Yvvy. When she wasn't by your side in the past few years, she was living with me. You probably knew this before you lost your memories."

There was a lot of tension between the two men.

Yvette couldn't get away from Xavier. Just as she was about to scold him, he unexpectedly said to Claude, "Usually, I would remember everything my wife tells me."

After that, he asked Yvette, "Darling, why have you never told me about such a friend of yours before?" He was trying to imply that she didn't care about Claude.
