Unbreakable Love His Passion for Her Transcends Death

Chapter 305

"Don't worry. I won't let them bully me anymore."

After they ended the call, Yvette called a foreign branch company. She asked them to send a bank statement and wanted to give it to Matthew as proof.

He was a lawyer himself. He wasn't as great as Leonard, but he still had once been the head of Snyder Group's legal department. So, he knew what to do.NôvelDrama.Org (C) content.

By the time she was done with the call, she felt complicated and couldn't calm down for a long while. Five years ago, she had risked her life to cut ties with Yara. Now, the latter was back. "Ywy." The bedroom door hadn't been closed.

Yvette hadn't even realized when Viola had come to the door. The latter was looking at her with a caring

gaze.

Yvette turned around when she heard Viola. "Why are you up, Viola?"

"I've slept for too long. Now, I can't sleep anymore." Viola smiled warmly.

Yvette immediately got up to support her. "In that case, shall I accompany you on a walk?"

"Sure."

When Viola had been standing at the door earlier, she had heard part of Yvette's conversation on the

phone.

She had heard the person on the other end of the call saying that someone had returned. He had also told

Yvette to be careful.

Since Viola hadn't caught the full conversation, she didn't ask about it. She knew Yvette had grown up and wasn't the little girl who would cling to her all day anymore.

Yvette grabbed a coat and put it on Viola. Then, she let Xavier know they were going for a walk and headed out with Viola.

There wasn't a lot of people on the street. It had just stopped snowing, and about an inch of snow had piled up on the road.

"I remember how you loved the snow when you were younger, Yvvy," Viola mumbled.

Yvette grabbed her arm and said, "Yeah. That's because a new year is around the corner when it starts to snow. I would get to buy new clothes for the New Year, and there would be a feast to celebrate the festival too."

Viola had never told Yvette that she hated the New Year the most. It was because Yvette had gone back to the Snyder family one New Year and never returned after that.

Viola looked into the distance and let out a long sigh. "Yvvy, I wish to see someone taking care of you before I'm gone."

Yvette stopped in her tracks, and hurriedly hugged Viola tightly. Her eyes started to tear up. "Drop the nonsense. You're not going anywhere..."

She didn't even believe herself when she said that. All she could think of was what Claude had said-the

doctor told them that Viola might not make it past the New Year.

Viola gently patted Yvette's hand and didn't expose her lie. "I know. I want to watch Zac and Noah grow up too. However, before that happens, I also want to see you find someone who truly loves you, my dear

Yvvy."

Viola turned back to look in the house's direction. "Xavier isn't meant to be your partner. He's only nice to you because he has lost his memories and become blind. If he recovers his memory and sight, he's going to revert back to his old self again."

"I know." Yvette nodded. "I'm not going soft on him."

"Yeah." Viola tightened her grip on Yvette's hand. "Claude's a great guy, and I can tell he likes you. If it's possible-"

Yvette shook her head and interrupted Viola. "Viola, I don't want to be with anyone else right now. Claude's a great guy, but I know I don't love him. I'm not going to marry someone I don't love. That'll be unfair to him."

Viola was speechless, and she didn't know how to persuade Yvette anymore.

The latter was great in many ways. However, she was too stubborn. Once she had decided on something, she wouldn't change her mind. She wouldn't even try being selfish for once.

After they walked for a moment, Viola started feeling tired, and Yvette helped her return to the house. They didn't realize a woman was standing in a corner far away. She was dressed extravagantly. Behind her was a young male assistant, Spencer Allen.

Spencer asked politely, "Shall I ask Ms. Snyder to come out, Madam Yara?"

Yara slowly shook her head. "There's no need for that.

She decided there was no reason to talk to Yvette, who was hearing-impaired, and treated Viola as her mother instead. Yara thought she was useless.
