Unbreakable Love His Passion for Her Transcends Death

Chapter 250

Xavier confirmed that Zachary and Noah are different children-they are twins. However, one was with Kiki, and the other was with Viola.

What did this mean?

At night, accompanied by cold wind and snow, Xavier stood under a big tree. He didn't feel cold at all.

His bodyguards had delivered investigation materials overnight.

As he opened them, they were filled with everything about Kiki after she left the country. She had been chaste and had never had a boyfriend, let alone had children!

In other words, both children were Yvette's!

If that's the case, why had she lied to him?

Xavier lit a cigarette, but he coughed heavily after a few puffs.

The driver hurried out. "Mr. Lane, should we get in the car?"

"It's fine."

Perhaps only the chill could keep him alert.

Xavier remembered Noah had said his surname was Lander, but Zachary's surname was Snyder.

He didn't think Claude and Yvette would decide to give one child each their surname.

He hadn't had sleep for two or three days in a row. He couldn't figure out why as his thoughts were becoming unclear.

He just wanted to see Yvette immediately. This time, he had tie her up and not let her go anywhere.

At the thought of this, Xavier's eyes reddened, and his handsome face looked unusually haggard.

Tomorrow was the Lanes' family dinner. Xavier had already refused, but Shannon had insisted he come back, saying there was an important matter.

Thus, he could only leave the matter of watching over Kiki and Zachary to his subordinates and return to Lane Mansion.

At Lane Mansion, almost everyone noticed something off about Xavier. The usually meticulous man now appeared disheveled and even had a hint of stubble on his face.

A maid holding a ring soon emerged from his room, her eyes gleaming with satisfaction.

"What are you holding?" Xavier suddenly stopped her.

Startled, she quickly kneeled. "I'm sorry, Mr. Xavier; I didn't mean to steal. I found this ring while tidying the bed. It was under the pillow."

Xavier examined the plain diamond ring. For a moment, he couldn't recall its owner.

"This ring..."

"It should be Ms. Snyder's, sir," the maid explained.

Xavier's chest tightened slightly. He reached out and took the ring, only to notice the scratches on the ring. Suddenly, he remembered a scene from seven years ago, when he and Yvonne had gotten married.

Upon noticing how indifferent he had been, Yvette had cried alone in the kitchen and tried to destroy the ring.

Her cries echoed in his ears.

"Xavier, did you know that anyone here mistreats me as they please? No one here sees me as your wife. What did I do wrong?"

His mouth tasted bitter as he tightly gripped the ring. "What did you just call her?"

"It's Ms. Snyder, sir," the maid explained cautiously, fearing Xavier's anger. "That's what everyone calls her here."

Everyone called her that.

Yvette had been right. No one at Lane Mansion really treated her as Mrs. Lane.

Xavier stood frozen in place. The maid sensed his mood and left quietly.Text © owned by NôvelDrama.Org.

After she left, Xavier held the ring so tightly that blood slowly dripped from his palm.

He knew Yvette hadn't lost the ring; she had deliberately left it here. After all, she was never coming back.

Returning to his room, he carefully placed the blood-stained ring aside before heading to Shannon's room. As he entered, the strong smell of disinfectant greeted him.

He then passed by a few familiar faces. Immediately, his eyes fell upon a hospital bed where his

identical younger twin, Jeremiah, lay, hooked up to medical devices.

Xavier had thought he would never see Jeremiah again in this lifetime.
