True Fated Marriage (Grace and Heinz)

Chapter 291

Chapter 291

"Sometimes I really don't get you," Grace said with bewilderment. "I'll bring Alice and Little Gary along

then. I'll treat your mother to a nice meal."

"Are you looking down on me?" Tyler smiled and said, "As a man, how could I allow you to do that?"

"You just said that you're against male chauvinism." Grace took the opportunity to refute him with his

point of view.

Tyler was stunned. He shook his head and laughed, "Well, my mother for sure wouldn't allow it. She

insisted it's her treat."

Over the years that she had known him, Grace knew that Tyler was a trustworthy friend. He was not

the kind who would take advantage of others.

She sighed and said, "I can afford to treat you once. You don't have to be courteous, you know?"

With a deep look in his eyes, Tyler said, "You have a child to raise. If not, I'd happily accept it."

Grace suddenly thought of something and said, "By the way, I've always wanted to ask you something."

"Go ahead," Tyler said.

"Had Little Gary been learning video games from you?" She suspected that Alice alone would not

suffice to turn Little Gary into a gamer who could earn money just by playing video games.

"Er..." Tyler paused for a moment and looked at her, seemingly not wanting to admit it.

"Be honest, I won't blame you," Grace said.

"Well, it was me who taught him," Tyler said with a smile. "He is very smart and talented. In fact, I didn't

need to teach him much. He got the hang of it easily."

"So it's really you," Grace frowned. "Of all things, why did it have to be video games?"

"Huh?" Tyler was startled by her expression. "Didn't you say you wouldn't blame me? Why are you

turning your back on me now?"

Grace stared at him furiously and said, "Little Gary is still so young, his eyes haven't even developed

fully. Such an early exposure to blue light is not good for his eyes."

"I understand you're worried, but Little Gary is not an ordinary kid. You shouldn't judge him by your own

standards. I can assure you that he knows what he is doing," Tyler said.

"What does he know?" Grace asked. "Do you know that the money he makes from the games is much

more than what Alice and I earned?"

"Isn't that good?" Tyler laughed. "He could have fun and make money at the same time. How nice is Content is property of NôvelDrama.Org.

that?" "Tyler Henley!" Grace cried out.

Tyler burst into laughter and said, "What's wrong with you, woman? You should be happy, but your

reaction seems like it's the end of the world."

"He's too young," she said. "I'm worried that getting exposed to money at his age would not be the best

for him."

"Nonsense!” Tyler shook his head. "Those who can't even grasp what money is even if they're grown

adults are nothing but spoiled brats. Little Gary's fine. Don't concern yourself."

Grace sighed and said, "I know, Little Gary has always been a good boy. But you might not understand

the concern I have as a mom."

"You're thinking too much." Tyler gulped down the last of his coffee and said, "What's there to worry

about? Things will turn out fine."

"That's my son," Grace said. "Raising a child alone had surely made me anxious."

"Grace." Tyler walked towards her and put down his cup. He clasped her shoulders with both hands,

and looked into her eyes seriously.

She was startled. "Yes?"

"You're too tense," Tyler said. "Is it because of Heinz Jones?"

She was taken by surprise and reached out to block Tyler's arm. "Cut it out. You must be joking."

"You're lying." Tyler's eyes flickered with excitement. "Do you think I can't see through it? That man

looks so much like Little Gary. If they stand next to each other, you could easily tell that they are father

and son."

There was guilt in Grace's eyes. She averted her eyes away from him.

Once again, Tyler grasped her firmly by the shoulders and forced her to look at him. "He is Little Gary's

father, right?"

Grace looked at him feebly and said, "Do you find it

fun to expose me?"

Tyler raised his eyebrows and pursed his lips. He looked at her sharply and asked, "Does he know?"

"No," she shook her head. "Heinz doesn't know anything, and I have no intention to let him know."

He took a deep breath, his chest could be seen heaving. "You mean he doesn't know that you have a

son?" "He doesn't know anything," Grace said, "It was a one-night mistake. He had totally forgotten

about everything."

"But his reaction just now told me that he didn't seem to have forgotten everything," Tyler said.

"That's because we had dated for a few days not long ago, and it didn't end up well," Grace explained.

"Anyway, stop sticking your nose into it, okay?"

Tyler remained silent.

She pushed his hand down again and refilled his coffee. After cleaning the coffee pot, she picked up

her bag and said, "Let's go. I feel like eating now."

After finishing his coffee, Tyler wiped his mouth and said, "Let's go."

Tyler walked behind Grace. He had mixed emotions while watching her slender figure from the back,

Soon, they were out of the building.

Tyler looked out and spotted a car parking not far from the building.

"He hasn't left yet?"

He squinted his eyes and said to Grace in a low

voice, "Looks like somebody hasn't left yet."

Grace looked up at him and asked, "Who?"

"You're asking me?" he asked while giving her a halfsmile.

Unconsciously, Grace glanced ahead and a familiar black Bentley came into sight.

She then understood what Tyler meant.

She turned to say to Tyler, "So what if he hasn't left yet? You can talk to him if you need to. If not, let's

get out of here."

"Why would I need to talk to him?" Tyler said without blinking. "I'm going to have a feast with you."

"Okay, let's go," Grace replied.

"My car is coming right away," Tyler said.

Just then, a car suddenly drove over and stopped next to them. A parking valet got out of the car,

handed the keys to Tyler and said, "Your car's here, Mr. Henley."

"Thank you." Tyler took over the keys and threw a glance at the Bentley. He put his arm around Grace's

shoulder and smiled, "Let's get in the car."

"I'll be fine by myself," she said in a deep voice. "Let go of me."

"Someone must be watching us inside the car. I bet he is burning with anger now," Tyler said, flashing a

lopsided grin.
