Chapter 234
Chapter 234
Grace shook her head. "No, you don't."
She'd be even more exhausted if Heinz drank the tonic soup.
Heinz snorted. "What a meddlesome butler! I'll fire him if he does this again."
Grace looked at him, and took a sip of her soup. She said, "You don't need a tonic soup. I guess I'm the
one who needs my nutritions."
She'd felt as if her waist was going to break just now. She should drink some soup to strengthen her
body, and it could enhance her beauty as well.
Heinz took a meaningful glance at her, "You really need more of that. It would then be easier for me if
you had more stamina."
Upon hearing this, she blushed all the way to her ears. She lowered her head and continued to drink
the soup.
"It seems that you're not quite the annoying master to your servants, judging by the way you interacted
with the butler."
Heinz was consumed by anger after hearing her words. He asked, "Am I such a person?"
Grace also felt that it was impolite to say that. She burst into laughter and said, "No, you're a good
person, so much so that the butler even dares to joke with you."
Heinz snorted and said with dissatisfaction,
''They're not respecting me anymore.”
"That's why I said that you're a good person,” she praised sincerely.
Heinz frowned and put down the spoon. He looked at her without saying anything.
Did Grace ever think that he wasn't a good person before then?
She was dumbstruck when she saw Heinz staring at her. She recalled what she had just said and
somehow realized it was inappropriate for her to say so, thus she smiled immediately. "Oh, what I
mean is that you're much better than I thought," she amended.
Heinz frowned. "Are there any differences?"
"Hehe..." Grace laughed, revealing her white teeth. She was very cute.
Heinz sighed and decided not to argue with her. He said, "Let's go for the movies later."
Grace shook her head. "No, I have to go back."
"Hey, how could you go back on your words? You promised to accompany me from 5.30 p.m. to 9 p.m.
tonight, didn't you?" Heinz said.
Grace remembered the text message she sent before. She nodded her head guiltily. "Yes, but I never
expected for this to happen at that time. Moreover, I've already stayed with you long enough. I want to
go back at night."
"For what?"
Grace wanted to say that she had to go back to be with her child. However, she couldn't get herself to
say it.
How could she tell him that was their biological child?
"I didn't do my job well, and in fact, I'm embarrassed due to what happened in my office today. So, I
want to make up for it. I'll have to find a new interviewee."
"Bullsh*t. Why would you have to find an interviewee?" Heinz said.
"Well, that's my job."
"Whatever it is, you have to keep your promise first. I don't care. You said you would spend time with
me tonight." He said in a domineering tone.
"Where are we going to watch a movie?" she suddenly asked.
"Was that a yes?"
"Yes, it is, as I've promised you. But, I really do have to go back after 9 p.m," Grace said helplessly.
"Great." Heinz was in a good mood now, and proceeded to shovel down lots of food in an energetic
manner.
Soon enough, the both of them had finished their meal, and it was already past five o'clock after they
did a bit of reading.
Grace picked up her mobile phone to give Alice a call. "Alice, I'm going back at nine o'clock today."
"I see. Don't worry, I'll pick up Little Gary. I'm on my way now, and we'll go back home directly after
picking him up," Alice replied. Còntens bel0ngs to Nô(v)elDr/a/ma.Org
Grace felt very embarrassed because she always had to bother her sister, "Okay. Be careful on the
road."
"Got it."
After hanging up the phone, Grace saw Heinz walking towards her, looking at her with a poker face.
"What's wrong?" He asked.
"Who did you just ask to be careful on the road huh?"
Grace was dumbfounded before she said, "It's a courtesy. I sincerely hoped for everyone to be fine."
Heinz pursed his lips. "I thought that you would only say that to me!"
"Are you kidding me now? Do you have to be jealous over such a thing?" Grace was at a loss for
words.
"Hmph." He sniffed, refusing to admit it. "Do I look like the kind of man who'd be jealous?"
"If you weren't, then who else would be?" Grace said with a grin.
Something flashed in his gaze for a moment, and Heinz promptly trapped her into his hug, resting his
chin on her forehead. "Come on, let's go watch a movie."
Grace was ready to go out.
But Heinz pulled her back.
"Didn't you say we were leaving?" Grace looked at him in surprise.
"Where are we going?" she asked again.
"Duh, we're going to watch a movie," he said as if it was the most obvious thing in the world.
"But we're just going to watch it upstairs. I have a home theater. So, we don't have to go out in order to
do that," he continued, pointing upstairs as he spoke.
"Ah-" Grace was tongue-tied again.
She'd almost forgotten about that. It was common for a rich man like Heinz to own a home theatre.
What's more, there was also a home theatre in the Smith family as well.
It was just that Grace thought they were going to a cinema.
At the thought of this, she couldn't help feeling a bit disappointed.
"Doesn't it feel boring to watch a movie at home all the time?"
"Why would I have to go to the cinema? There are so many people sharing seats and glasses, and
who knows if there's anyone sick or with a skin disease."
"What?" Grace stared at him in disbelief.
"Do you expect me to wear the glasses worn by others?" he questioned.
Grace was bewildered again. "Do you have germaphobia?"
"Not really, but I have basic hygiene habits."
"Yes, that's definitely germaphobia."
Grace muttered, almost speechlessly. How could he not admit that he had germaphobia? It was so
obvious.
Heinz held her hand, and they went upstairs together.
When they arrived on the third floor, Heinz pushed a door open and walked in.
The room was about one hundred square feet wide, and a huge screen could be seen, with three sets
of sofa beds in front of the screen.
How was this a movie theater?
They could probably just sleep on the sofa bed.
"How is it? It's cleaner than the cinema, right?" Heinz raised his eyebrows and said.
Grace nodded her head and said, "Indeed, it is much cleaner than the cinema!"
However, it still didn't have the atmosphere of a real cinema.
But she couldn't express her true feelings, or else it would've been so awkward.
She scanned the room, and went to the front to have a look.
She saw a few DVDs there.
The, she picked one of them up to take a look at it. It was a cartoon.
She hesitated for a moment before asking, "A cartoon? Did you like watching cartoons?"
Heinz stiffened. Those DVDs belonged to Ernest.
Normally, it was just Heinz that lived here, and Ernest was staying in another house near his villa, so he
would come up to the villa to play sometimes.
He took one glance at Grace, but didn't take the DVDs away from her. He said, "Let's watch another
one."
Grace shot him a look of surprise. There was a whole stack of cartoon DVDs.
"Why do you have so many cartoon DVDs? Don't you find them too childish?" she asked, puzzled.
Heinz landed his gaze on her as he said, "Whether I'm childish or not, shouldn't you already know the
answer?"
She knitted her brows, and felt that what he said seemed to be very strange. "Was I wrong though?
You don't even have a child. Why would you have so many cartoons?"
Heinz paused for a moment. He suddenly looked up at her with a hot passionate gaze. "How could I
have given you so much pleasure if I was really childish?"
