Chapter 203
Chapter 203
After Grace Smith hung up the phone, Heinz Jones' brows were twisted into a knot and his eyes were
fiery.
"D*mn it, she either doesn't answer the phone or hangs up the phone on me," Heinz muttered.
Alice Smith even dared to say that he looked down upon Grace. Alice was obviously bending the truth.
Would there be someone else like him, who rushed to call, helped to get even, and protected her family
without any hesitation?
The more Heinz thought about it, the angrier he became.
He sat in the car and lit up a cigarette.
He didn't believe that Grace wouldn't come.
About twenty minutes had passed since he started waiting patiently.
A taxi stopped at the entrance of the police station. He then saw a slender figure getting out of the car
with a big bag on her back. She tidied her hair first and then gave the money to the driver.
Then she was about to enter the police station.
Seeing that she was in a hurry, Heinz immediately opened the car door and shouted, "Grace."
Grace was stunned. She turned around and saw Heinz.
His figure in the afterglow of the setting sun looked
tall and straight while he walked towards her with his back to the light. His cold and resolute face
looked more pronounced under the golden sky, but it was full of intense rage.
She frowned and ran towards him. When she came to his front, she stood still and said with a darkened
face, "Where is my sister? Since you are here, why didn't you go in and look after my sister? What if
she is scared?"
Would she be scared?
Heinz was sullen. He was sure that Alice would not be scared even if she met a ghost.
"Is your sister so easily scared?" Heinz sneered.
"She hasn't been to a police station before," Grace said. "She was sent here suddenly. It's inevitable for
a little girl to be afraid."
"Ha." Heinz kept a straight face and asked in a cold voice, "Why should I go in and protect her?"
Grace was stunned.
"Who am I to you?" Heinz asked again.
Grace was dumbstruck again.
Heinz continued to tease, "Didn't you say that you don't know me?"
D*mn it, this man was really petty. How could he still remember that?
Grace paused for a moment and looked at him coldly. "Heinz, you're such a melodramatic man.
Disgusting."
Leaving this sentence behind, she turned around and walked towards the police station.
Heinz was so irritated that he almost wanted to drag Grace back and punish her.NôvelDrama.Org owns this text.
It was so infuriating.
Her sister had called him a coward, and now even she said that he was a melodramatic man.
He ought to teach them both a lesson.
Gritting his teeth, Heinz followed closely behind Grace and walked in after her.
Grace was worried. As soon as she entered the door, she immediately went to a policeman and asked,
"Excuse me, is a girl named Alice Smith here?"
"Alice Smith?" Hearing this, the officer immediately said, "Oh, I know, she's in our boss' office?"
"Your boss?" Grace was stunned for a moment. Shouldn't Alice be in a detention room?
If the matter was as serious as Heinz had described, Alice should have been detained.
"Walk straight in, through the corridor, the innermost office with 'Charm's Office' written on it."
"Oh okay." Grace thanked him subconsciously, "Thank you."
She hurried inside and wondered what kind of place "Charm's Office" was?
"Is it Jensen Charm's office?" Grace wondered.
Grace walked guickly and arrived at the office in a flash. As expected, there was a plate on it with two
words engraved on it: Charm's Office.
Grace raised her hand and knocked on the door.
"Knock Knock—"
"Come in," the familiar voice of Jensen came from inside.
Grace was stunned for a moment and then pushed the door open. She saw Jensen and her sister
sitting face to face on the sofa.
They seemed to be talking about something.
When Alice looked up and saw Grace, she was also shocked. "Sister, why are you here?"
Grace was startled at first, when she thought about how Jensen might be the man who hurt Alice six
years ago.
She was suddenly nervous. They actually met before she told them.
This must be fate, right?
Grace had no choice but to believe in the fate between them at this moment.
"Sister?" Seeing that her sister was in a trance and was looking at her and Jensen with a strange look,
Alice was surprised and worried at the same time.
"Yes, Grace, why are you here?" Jensen was also confounded when he saw Grace and then Heinz,
who was standing at the door with a gloomy face.
Grace said, "I received a phone call from Heinz, the melodramatic man. He said that you beat
someone up and got arrested."
Alice raised her head and looked at Heinz who was behind her sister. The man's face was even darker
and his handsome face looked crooked.
All of a sudden, Alice felt a strong urge to laugh.
Heinz was probably going to die of anger today.
Alice had no intention of stopping. She even nodded and said, "Yes, that coward came with me and
helped me today. I also got to know this policeman. Both of them don't look like good people."
Heinz and Jensen were speechless upon hearing her words.
"Enough," Heinz scolded coldly.
Grace was startled. When she turned around and saw Heinz standing behind her, she blinked her
eyes.
She didn't expect that he followed her in.
She only glanced once at him before she completely ignored him. Then she looked at Alice again and
asked, "What's going on?"
"I met hooligans who then harassed me, so I beat them up. But I might have gone too far," Alice
explained apologetically, "Sister, I'm sorry, I seem to have gotten into trouble."
"It's alright, don't be afraid." Grace immediately said upon hearing her words, "If you didn't hit them,
weren't you letting them take advantage of you? It's impossible. You just beat the crap out of them."
At this moment, Heinz and Jensen looked at Grace speechlessly.
They exchanged glances.
Jensen felt that he was treated unjustly. It was just an instinctive reaction, but he was misunderstood as
a bad person and was criticized like this.
His image as a policeman had been ruined.
Alice didn't expect her sister to say so. Her eyes turned red all of a sudden. All the strong and fearless
look that she masked on vanished instantly because of her sister's words.
She walked up to Grace, hugged her, and cried out, "Sister, what should I do if I have to pay the
medical expenses?"
Grace hugged her and comforted her. "Then we'll pay. After that, well sue them and he will have to pay
you the mental damage compensation. Mental damage compensation is priceless."
A glimmer of light flashed in Heinz's eyes.
Jensen was also dumbstruck.
They looked at each other again, and then looked at the two beautiful sisters who were hugging each
other tightly.
Heinz cleared his throat and said in a deep voice, "It's easy for you to say. Can you afford to pay for the
huge medical fee in the first place?"
Grace thought about the matter too simply. Not only did she not educate Alice well, but she also
supported her wrongdoings.
Jensen was shocked and wanted to stop Heinz, but it was too late.
Why was Heinz speaking more and more straightforwardly? He was simply offending people to the
point of death.
Could a woman be offended?
Grace was instantly furious when she heard his words. She snorted and said, "That's our business. If I
can't afford to pay it, I won't beg you for your help even if I have to sell my body. Don't worry.”
"D*mn it,” Heinz was irritated. Anger flashed in his dark eyes, and he said with a murderous look, "Are
you trying to piss me off?"
