True Fated Marriage (Grace and Heinz)

Chapter 184

Chapter 184

Grace Smith didn't think much of it and told Alice Smith, "This is my first time here in six years."

She has not been here since that incident.

Alpine Resort used to be her favourite place as it was very comfortable.

After passing through her grandmother's favourite flower field, Alpine Resort was visible. It was full of

flowers and the scenery was pleasant.

Alice fell into her own world.

Then, a voice called from a distance, "Grace, Alice, you are here?"

Grace and Alice turned around together and saw Marry Smith.

She also got out of her car. She was wearing a skirt with leather shoes, and her figure was graceful. On

the other hand, Simon Brown was wearing a suit with leather shoes. He looked tall and decent.

They got out of the car together and walked towards Grace.

Grace was holding a bag of things whereas Marry didn't bring anything.

"Grace, Grandma said it isn't necessary to bring anything for her. All we have to do is to work hard to

protect her flower field. She wants to rest here and see the blooming flowers," Simon said.

Grace was stunned and said, "It sounds like

something Grandma would say. Well, it's only for this time. I won't bring anything next time."

Grandma didn't like to trouble other people.

But could this flower field be maintained forever?

She couldn't help but looked in the direction of the flower field.

It was an extensive flower field covering an area of 20,000 square meters. At first glance, there were all

kinds of flowers everywhere.

"Grace, we can't keep this flower field anymore," Marry said suddenly.

In an instant, Grace's face turned stiff,

as did Alice's.

Both of them looked at Marry in a daze.

"What do you mean?" Alice asked agitatedly. "Why can't we keep Grandma's flower field?"

Marry pursed her lips and looked at Grace. This belongs to NôvelDrama.Org: ©.

Alice immediately turned to Grace. "Sister, do you know what's going on?"

"I know a little," Grace said truthfully. "They told me something, but I don't know the details."

Alice frowned and immediately looked at Marry. She asked in a low voice, "What's going on?"

"Heinz Jones is going to develop this place. He has already submitted the business plan to the city and

this place might be completely demolished. As for what they will be constructing, we don't know yet,"

Marry looked at her and said lightly.

Grace frowned and thought of what Heinz had said before. He would not preserve it for her. Anyway,

they had no more relationship.

She would not look for him again. Even if she did, it would be useless.

Grace wouldn't bring anymore shame upon herself.

But what was Grandma's flower field going to be developed into?

"Who is the owner of this land now?" Grace's eyes met Marry's.

Marry said, "Don't look at me. This place was originally the government's land. What Grandma had was

only the rights."

"What about compensation?" Grace followed up and asked. "This land was taken from Sunny Group,

right? Are you saying that the management appointed Heinz to take care of the development as well?"

Marry was slightly stunned and she looked surprised. She didn't seem to expect Grace to understand.

"If I'm not mistaken, since the management is responsible for the arrangement, that means that

development rights can't be assigned to Heinz, right? Somebody else should undertake the task?"

"It's true. Grandma's usage permit is in your hands." Upon hearing Grace's words, Alice also said,

"Have you submitted a plan?"

Marry's facial expression changed instantly and she frowned.

Simon chimed in at the right time. "Alice, Heinz has been appointed."

"Why didn't you answer my question?" Alice said in a deep voice, "Have you submitted a plan?"

Marry denied quickly. "No."

Simon glanced at her. Then, he turned back to look at Grace and said, "Alice, we don't have this ability

and it's impossible for us to develop independently. Sunny Group is not the same anymore."

Grace looked at their expressions and there was suspicion in her eyes.

Marry had hesitated earlier and answered too quickly. There was obviously something fishy about her.

In addition, Simon was obviously beating around the bush with his explanations.

Grace pursed her lips and said, "According to what I know, the city would not appoint only one

company for the project. Given the current situation, a company would not be allowed to hold the sole

authority in the project. There must be a bid and you claimed to not have made a bid. In fact, I can just

verify this."

Marry was stunned again. She instantly looked a little embarrassed.

Alice agreed and said, "Yes, I'll check it out right away."

As she said that, she took out her mobile phone and logged onto the Internet to check.

Marry immediately frowned and said, "There's no need to check. We have submitted a plan."

Alice was dumbfounded and said sarcastically, "Didn't you just claim to have not done that? You liar."

"Why are you so rude?" Marry retorted right away, "I want to win the bid, but is it possible? Sunny

Group is no match for Jones Estate and I'm afraid of losing face."

"That's why you asked me to persuade Heinz to give up?" Grace said coldly. "Now I get it. Marry Smith,

you are really shameless."

After saying that, Grace walked straight ahead.

Alice quickly caught up to her.

Marry and Simon looked at each other anxiously.

Watching Grace leave, Marry lowered her voice and asked him, "What should we do?"

"Grace is not a naive girl anymore." Simon narrowed his eyes and watched Grace's retreating back as

she left. He sighed slightly and said, "She has been part of society for several years now and has some

experience."

Marry bit her lips and looked angrily at Grace's back.

"She doesn't even care about her grandmother now."

"It's not that she doesn't care, but you are too impatient," Simon explained, "If you can learn to shut up,

maybe things would be much easier."

"I Marry's words were already at the tip of her throat but she swallowed them back down and closed

her mouth.

Simon said, "That's right."

Then, they too headed to the center of the flower field.

As Grace and Alice were walking ahead, Alice said in a low voice, "Sister, did you see that? Marry and

Simon are liars. They even wanted to use you to find Heinz. They really are mad and unscrupulous."

Grace understood. How could she not?

She said softly, "I can understand if they ask me to find Heinz because they really want to keep this

flower field. What I'm worried about now is..."

Grace paused for a moment and didn't continue.

"Are you worried that they will use you to convince Heinz to give up the development rights, and then

get the development rights for themselves?" Alice was smart and she immediately thought of this point.

Grace nodded and looked at her sister. "Alice, you've grown up. Your thoughts are on point now. Yes,

I'm afraid that she is trying to use me to get the development rights so that she can develop the land

herself.

Truth was, these were the doings of the Giaus family and not Grace Smith, because a single person

won't take this initiative. No matter what, this land will be developed. As for what kind of development,

one will have to gauge which plan was most suitable.

Now that I think about it, I shouldn't have asked Heinz for help that time. In fact, it was useless as he

won't have had the final say."
