True Fated Marriage (Grace and Heinz)

Chapter 180

Chapter 180

Heinz Jones glanced at Jensen Charm and didn't say much.

Jensen thought, "What did I even do wrong. I was just looking out for you man. I even brought Grace Belongs © to NôvelDrama.Org.

here to help you two reconcile but I was ridiculed by you instead."

Jensen shook his head and laughed at himself in mockery.

Heinz didn't say a word. His eyes were filled with apathy, and they seemed to be exceptionally cold and

dim.

Grace Smith clenched her fists, and disappointment surged from the depths of her eyes.

She had really put in the effort and apologized to him but he still humiliated her in return. The outcome

was still the same.

She took a deep breath and thought, "Forget it. I've tried so hard and I don't regret it."

Soon, the tea was served.

Heinz did not drink it.

The room was filled with camaraderie, but Grace was very silent and she did not say anything more.

In Heinz's eyes, she was a cheap woman who still had an ambiguous relationship with her brother-in-

law. It would not be surprising if Heinz had already regarded her as a slutty woman in his heart.

When she thought of those hurtful words, she felt a stab in her heart and felt very uncomfortable.

Heinz didn't say a word to her.

Half an hour later.

Everyone was full. As they had work to do after that, no one drank any alcohol and they ate quite fast.

Jensen said, "Well go first."

Heinz gave him a look and said nothing.

Jensen looked at Grace and asked, "Grace?"

"I'll stay for a little bit more." Grace made up her mind to try again to see if Heinz would still remain

stubborn. If the situation still remained the same, she would just give up and leave.

Jensen smiled and nodded at Grace while patting Heinz's shoulder.

It was a subtle reminder.

Everyone left, leaving only Grace and Heinz in the private room.

She looked at him and asked, "Are you done being angry?"

Heinz glanced at her and ignored her. Immediately, he picked up his coat and walked out.

Before he went out, Grace grabbed the door handle a little earlier. "Heinz, what do you want?"

Heinz pursed his thin lips tightly and he was still indifferent.

Grace puckered her lips and said, "Heinz, I think I've tried my best to explain the misunderstanding, but

you don't believe me at all."

"Is it a misunderstanding?" he scolded in a cold voice.

Grace's head was buzzing from his yelling.

She felt breathless and her eyes were filled with overwhelming sorrow.

"I'm sorry. It will never happen again," she looked into his eyes and said word by word.

"Forget it, let's break up," he said flatly, "a woman like you can be found anywhere."

Grace was once again stunned by the mockery.

She felt that she was too stupid.

"Heinz, I don't know what to say. Fine. I guess I'm the wishful one.” She didn't want to argue with him,

so she lowered her head and said, "Well, we'll have nothing to do with each other in the future from this

moment on."

After that, she opened the door and ran out.

She no longer cared about the person behind her.

He had said it, "Let's break up."

He had said it himself.

It was not entirely bad. At least she didn't have to struggle anymore.

It just felt that her heart was just shattered into a million pieces.

She came out of the hotel and started to run on the street.

Standing in the afternoon sunlight, Heinz's figure appeared to be extraordinarily bleak.

Lester quickly stepped forward and said, "President,

Miss Smith was crying while leaving. I can see that she was crying a lot."

Heinz's eyes narrowed and he said in a phlegmatic voice, "If she doesn't shed tears, how would she

remember the suffering and learn a lesson?"

"So, President, you did it on purpose so that Miss Smith can learn a lesson?"

Heinz did not explain and said, "Let's go. Follow her."

Lester immediately departed and followed Grace while keeping a distance.

Grace didn't take any vehicle but ran quickly on the street to vent her sadness because the feeling was

too unbearable.

Lester was driving the car and following her from a distance.

Suddenly, Grace stopped in her tracks and looked around.

Lester instantly felt a sense of guilt in his heart and he was afraid that they would be caught following

furtively.

He inhaled sharply and almost slammed on the brakes in a hurry.

"Hold on," Heinz said in a deep voice.

"Yes!" Lester replied.

Grace stretched her arm out to hail a taxi. Immediately, a taxi came over and stopped in front of her,

then she opened the door and got in.

Heinz looked at the taxi slowly merging into the busy traffic. He narrowed his eyes, and there was a

hint of excitement in his eyes.

Lester secretly glanced at him from the rearview mirror. "President, do we still follow her?"

"Yes," Heinz said in a deep voice.

"Okay!" Lester stepped on the gas pedal and followed the taxi.

Grace took the taxi back to newspaper office.

Heinz watched her get off the car and go straight into newspaper office without looking back. He

frowned tightly.

Three days passed just like that.

Heinz never received a call from Grace again.

The president's room was enveloped with a tense aura.

Lester saw Heinz's gloomy face as he entered the room. He was so scared that he didn't dare to make

any mistakes so he could only look at him and said, "President, this is the proposal for the flower field

in Alpine Resort."

"I've told you that the flower field is off limits at the moment," Heinz said in a deep voice.

Lester took a breath and said, "But President, this is the plan of the municipal leader. Can we argue

with the leader?"

Heinz's face darkened.

Lester quickly placed the proposal on the table and showed it to him.

Heinz took it over to have a look, and his eyebrows were frowned into a bumpy line.

Lester stood still and didn't dare to speak.

Heinz looked at it for a while and stood up from his seat. He walked to the window and said to Lester,

"How likely is it to change the location of this proposal?"

Lester knew that the land had something to do with Grace. He looked at Heinz and said, "President, it

will be a little difficult to propose a disagreement with the planning department in the city. What's more,

this piece of land is the highlight of the tourist attractions in Northern City as it complements the design

of the Alpine Resort. If we don't accept it, someone else will naturally take it."

"Someone else?" "I'm talking about Simon Brown," Lester said, "According to the information I'd

received, Simon and Marry have already submitted a design plan."

"Do you know the content of their plan?"

"They want to build a five-star scenic-view hotel," Lester said, "They're planning to build it on that land."

"Ha!" Heinz raised his eyebrows and said, "They are really unscrupulous."

"I'm afraid that Miss Smith is being kept in the dark."

"Does Grace know about this?"

"Simon and Marry should be looking for her soon."

Heinz nodded. "Let's wait and see."

"Yes."

While getting off work.

When Grace was about to pack her things and pick up her child, her phone rang. She glanced at it and

found that it was Alice Smith's call.

Grace quickly picked up and Alice's voice came from the other end, "Sister, Marry and Simon are at the

gate of the kindergarten. They stopped me and said that they are looking for you to have a meal

together as a family. Tomorrow is Grandma's death anniversary."

Grace's whole body froze. She wanted to refuse, but her words were stuck in her throat.

"Sister, what should we do?"

Grace replied softly, "Alice, she came prepared. She knew that I won't refuse the meet-up since it's

about Grandma."
