Trouble in Paradise (Arianna and Nicholas)

Claudia stepped barefoot on the floor, her footsteps quick and sticky. When she saw Nicholas's back, she couldn't help but call out, "Nick! "Nick, you're finally willing to see me."

Nicholas looked at Claudia, who was nearly naked. His gaze was as cold as ice. "Wipe yourself clean," he said flatly.

Claudia looked around. The only thing she could use to clean herself was the towel at his feet.

She thought he still cared for her. Otherwise, why would he ask her to undress and appear so close to him?

She remembered how that old pervert used to love this display, enjoying her innocent gaze as she acted coquettishly. Claudia crawled to Nicholas's feet, greedily sniffing his scent. It had been so long since she smelled him.

In her heart, she felt wronged. She didn't think her way of treating Nicholas had been wrong. He would recover as long as he was separated from me. The facts proved that she was not wrong at all. Since I went abroad, Nicholas's condition had improved.

Suddenly, Claudia's body shivered as Nicholas gripped her neck. His hand was as cold as ice, colder than the heavy rain outside.

Claudia was taken aback at first, but a desperate laugh escaped her lips uncontrollably. She stopped struggling, her nails lightly scratching his skin as she boldly looked into his face.

She spoke with pain. "Nick, it's me, Claudia! You used to say I was innocent and cute. You promised to be with me forever. Have you forgotten?"

"I have nothing more to say to you." Nicholas stood up, turning to leave. "Claudia, live well. Having everything and losing everything is my punishment for you."

Claudia's desperate voice echoed

behind him. You said you're my

brother, yet I haven't seen you for three years. You want me to be the heiress of the Hawk family. But I'm in rags, living in that run-down white hospital.
