Chapter 1605 ‘What? The insect is raised by potions?' Molly frowned and stepped forward to check the insect, finding that just as Logan said, the insect was particularly active in the potion.
"It seems that Sean has guessed right. People are very likely to nurture Venomous Insects at the base," Molly said, grimfaced.
Staring at the insect, she gave a sigh. "I hope there will be no accidents."
"Yes." Logan nodded. "Once an insect enters a human body, controlling it will be very difficult, and it might cause untold harm to a man."
Edmund gave a cold shudder and said in a quivering voice," I'll freak out if the damn insect goes into my body!"
The more Edmund thought about it, the more frightened he felt!
Logan cast a glance at him. "The more afraid a person is of the insect, the more likely the insect will attack him."
Logan and Molly exchanged glances.
Molly understood his intention, gave a slight cough, and uttered, "Logan is right. Edmund, be careful."
"Well, stop talking!" Terrified, Edmund got goose bumps.
He glared at them, unhappy. "Are you both devils?"
'They know I fear the insect, but they still scare me!
'What friends I have!'
Hearing Edmund's complaint, Molly and Logan burst out laughing, and the atmosphere became relaxed.
But soon, Molly stopped laughing and said to Edmund seriously, "I know you're terrified, but this matter is very serious."
Edmund nodded. "I know. So... what can I do?"
"If the base really breeds insects, we have no way to stop it." Molly looked at Logan, who replied, "The most serious thing is that apart from Sean and Kara, we have no idea whether anyone else has the insect in the body."
"That's exactly what I worry about." Molly nodded. "What we can do now is develop some drugs that can prevent the insect from injuring people."
She smiled at Edmund. "I need your help." Material © NôvelDrama.Org.
"No problem. Just tell me what I should do." Edmund agreed without any hesitation.
As Edmund agreed so readily, Molly's smile deepened.
She walked to the file cabinet, took out a folder, and passed it to Logan and Edmund.
"This includes the prescriptions provided by Mr. Ballard when he left," Molly uttered.
Logan and Edmund began reading them.
Many of the prescriptions were about how to combat the Venomous Insect, which were immensely useful for the drug development.
"Mr. Ballard is totally reliable at a critical juncture," Edmund said.
Molly nodded with a smile and answered, "Certainly! My teacher is definitely the steadiest hand."
She added, "No matter whether the base fosters insects, we should take precautions, though I hope the drugs won't come in handy."
"We hope so, too." Logan and Edmund looked at each other, both of whom didn't utter any other words. Then they devoted themselves to developing the drugs.
At the sight of it, Molly felt warm.
Without them, she couldn't have handled so many things.
She took a deep breath and joined them in the drug development.
They were so busy and absorbed that no one realized it was time for dinner. Not until Edmund's stomach growled did they stop working.
