Triplets for the Billionaire novel (Oliver Gusto)

Chapter 36

Chapter 36

Coming out of the kitchen, wiping the tiny tears that kept coming to the corner of her eyes, Beatrice bumped into Magda almost by the staircase. She ignored her and continued to take her leave but eventually stopped in her tracks, turning around to look at Magda who was still staring at her.

"Why didn't you say anything?"

Magda frowned. She was where she was because she heard loud voices coming from the Kitchen. Seeing that it was Katherine, Beatrice, and Ollie that were there, She felt the moment of truth had come and gave the family some space to sort their shit.

"I don't understand." She finally spoke. This is property © NôvelDrama.Org.

"Don't even try to deny it. The triplets. Why didn't you say anything about their paternity?"

"Excuse me?!"

"Don't joke with me, Magda. And don't you dare deny as if you don't know anything. I know my daughter tells you everything!!! Hell, you couldn't even give me a heads-up before I went to see him when I came back.

"Are you listening to yourself?"

"You're nothing but a sly and a Betrayal!!"

"Why?"

"Because your daughter refuses to tell you her deepest secrets? What does that have to do with me?"

"Seven years for crying out loud, Magada. Freaking seven years!!!!! Is that how I wouldn't have known if they were not invited to the wedding?

"Whatever the deal between you and Katherine is. It is absolutely none of my business. Perhaps, she had her reason for keeping quiet."

"I'm her mother for crying out loud!!!! I shouldn't be left in the dark. You shouldn't know more than me."

"And how is that my fault?!"

"You are a mother too, hun?! You should know how painful it is when our kids keep things away from us. You shouldn't have kept quiet. You should have said something!!!!"She snapped.

"You are only looking for who to blame for your mistakes and I promise you that that will not help you."

"If you've been a really good mother, I see no reason why your daughter would keep things away from you. You should rethink your behavior and change your ways."

"I don't know how much you think I know but one thing is sure, I would never betray Katherine's trust in me."

"Oh please, don't give yourself any credit. She's probably just using you and I trust you not to give her any good advice."

"You're just jealous and pained!" Magda hissed at her.

"You call that jealous?" Bea said at the top of her voice.

"That's pure stupidity for crying out loud!!! Do you know who the hell Ollie is? Her ex step brother for crying out loud!!"

"You're making this a big deal." Magda voiced out.

"Of course, it's a big deal. I've been in talk with Charles for a long while now and the dickhead still hoes around not knowing he's a grandfather. I can't believe you actually advised that she kept this a Secret. For how long was she going to keep this away from us? Forever? I'm so disappointed, Magda."

Deep down, even though Magda had persuaded Kathie severely to open up to her family about it, She felt there was no need to make that known to Beatrice.

"It's true Beatrice and Ollie were once step Siblings but that was in the past. And besides, they are not related by blood so what's the big deal? This whole situation is not my place to tell and I don't need to reveal to you what I know or what I've done behind my back. And as a friend, I'll advise you to face reality and start making amends instead of wallowing in pity and looking for who to blame."

Before Beatrice could say anything else, Magda excused herself, hoping Katherine, who was in the kitchen with the father of her Babies, got things under control.

..............................

Oliver froze where he stood as he watched Katherine make her way out of the kitchen. He wanted to stop her but found difficulty in moving his body or opening his mouth to say anything.

The child that was conceived from their one-night stand was dead. Ollie was meant to be happy right? Since he didn't want any responsibility or any attachment. But No. That was not the case. He felt very uneasy with himself. Like a part of him was missing; it was as if something wasn't right.

As someone that hardly cared or gave a damn about other people, he found this feeling very strange and uncomfortable.

Oliver had no idea how long he stood there for, wallowing in his thoughts but after what felt like forever, he made his way out of the kitchen with fast steps, making his way up the stairs.

Not knowing where anyone's room was, Ollie was glad his room door was opened. He walked in and saw Beatrice seated on the edge of the bed. She figured out that after learning the whole truth, Ollie would definitely be in need of emotional support so she decided to wait for him in his room.

"Hey," she rose to her feet the moment he walked in.

"Where the hell is Katherine?"

Beatrice looked confused, "Weren't you with her just now?"

"She left me and I demand answers before I kill someone in this house."

Beatrice sighed internally, knowing her stubborn daughter had once again crossed the line. Ollie was very playful but whenever he was angry, Bea knew it was almost impossible for anyone to console him.

"Demand answers to what? Didn't she tell you everything already?"

"I knew coming here was a bad idea. I should have listened to my guts." He mumbled, running his fingers through his hair harshly.

"Can you tell me what's going on? Please?!" Beatrice demanded.

"I need answers!!!! How the fuck did you all keep the news away from me?"

"I...I....I....I had no idea about it until now."

"We live together so I know about the triplets but I never knew who their father was." She was scared of Ollie's glare so she was determined to tell the truth.

Oliver frowned, "What triplets?"

"The babies, of course, I thought Katherine told you about them."

At this point, Oliver was getting even more pissed. "What fucking babies?"

"She said the baby died and then left me in the kitchen. I need answers. How and when!!!"

Beatrice cursed softly, facepalming. Knowing her daughter would probably keep him in the dark forever, Beatrice decided to do her a favor by letting the cat out of the bag.

"She lied. No baby is dead."

Ollie had no idea how he lost his balance. He crashed against the desk behind him, his ass literally resting on it and his hand gripping either side of the table for support.

He always had a weird feeling whenever he was being lied to and to know that he was right this time? Ollie felt his heart beating faster.

"It is not dead?" He asked when he finally found his voice.

"You mean the babies? They are alive."

"What babies?" He asked, trying to understand the whole situation.

"She got pregnant with three babies, not one. And they are all alive."

Oliver's eyes were as wide as saucers upon hearing what his ex-stepmother said. He opened his mouth to say something but words failed him.

Neither of them said anything for over a minute. Situations were beginning to get awkward and uncomfortable to Beatrice so she decided to clear the air.

"Two boys and one girl. Samuel, Sebastian, and Sophie."

"What the hell?" Ollie finally voiced out. His voice showed nothing but anger.
