Trapped pregnant with a Billionaire child

Don’t you trust me?

Marco had just come out of the bathroom when he saw Freya, who had already woken up and was about to get off the bed. This made Marco widen his eyes. He then looked at Letta, who was now gazing out the window, as if contemplating something. In fact, his wife didn’t even realize that Freya had fallen off the bed.

This made Marco immediately shout his daughter’s name, causing Letta to startle and widen her eyes. In the next moment, Freya was indeed about to fall off the bed. If Marco hadn’t quickly run and picked up his little daughter, Letta would have done the same. Letta immediately ran to Freya, who was now in Marco’s arms.

“Sweetheart, are you okay?” Letta asked with her worried gaze, looking at Freya, who was now crying from the shock of her father and mother’s shouts.

“Forgive Mommy, sweetheart,” Letta said afterward, taking Freya into her arms, hugging her, trying to calm her little daughter. Marco then fell silent, looking at Letta, who recently seemed to be lost in thought.

“What are you thinking about, actually?” Marco asked, making Letta immediately meet her husband’s gaze.

“I was just looking at the garden. I didn’t realize Freya had woken up and was about to get off our bed,” Letta said again, making Marco sigh deeply.

“This isn’t the first time I’ve seen you like this. Lately, you’ve been daydreaming a lot and not focusing on what you’re doing with Freya,” Marco said, making Letta fall silent. In fact, Letta was aware that she had been thinking about those things lately for some reason.

“Are you bothered by the news released by the paparazzi, or are you bothered by being recognized by many people after the last time we attended the party?” Marco asked, making Letta shake her head.

“That’s not what I mean. I’m not thinking about that. Besides, I’ve agreed to be recognized by people,” Letta replied.

“Then what are you thinking about right now? You just have to talk to me about it, and we’ll find a solution, right?” Marco said, making Letta fall silent, as if she wanted to tell her husband everything. This made Marco rub his face roughly. Of course, by looking at the expression on his wife’s face, Marco could already guess that Letta was hiding what she was currently thinking.

“Don’t you trust me?” Marco asked, making Letta shake her head.

“No, I just fear that you might be bothered by what I’m currently thinking,” Letta replied.Content from NôvelDr(a)ma.Org.

“Should I be bothered? How so? What are you thinking? At least tell me. Even if I may not provide the best solution, you should share and not burden yourself, so you can focus on taking care of Freya and yourself,” Marco said, slightly annoyed by Letta’s behavior, which seemed to conceal something from him.

“I’m not sure,” Letta said.

“What are you not sure about? Are you unsure if I can help you?” Marco asked, causing Letta to shake her head.

“Never mind, I don’t want to talk about it. I’ll take Freya out to play,” Letta said, about to turn around, but Marco immediately held her shoulder.

“We need to talk. Let Freya stay with Desi for now,” Marco said, making Letta shake her head.

“No, I’ll be the one playing with Freya,” Letta insisted, but Marco seemed to ignore her. He walked straight to the nightstand, then called for Desi.

“Desi, take Freya to the park to play. Letta has something to discuss with me,” Marco said. A few minutes later, Desi came in and immediately sensed an unusual aura in her employer’s room. However, she didn’t dare linger and went straight to Freya.

“Let me take Miss Freya to play, ma’am,” Desi said, causing Letta to almost respond to Desi’s words but instead received a stern look from her husband.

“Give Freya to Desi. We need to talk,” Marco said in a cold tone, which made Desi even more convinced that something was going on between the two of them. Letta then chose to hand Freya over to Desi, not wanting the argument between them to escalate. Freya went out with Desi, and it was at that moment that Marco immediately grasped Letta’s shoulder, staring at her intently.

“Speak up. I don’t want to see my wife burdened like earlier,” Marco said, making Letta massage the bridge of her nose.

“I promise, I won’t think about anything while with Freya. I will take good care of her. Forgive me for my carelessness,” Letta said, making Marco tighten his jaw even more.

“That’s not the point, Letta. So, you won’t think about your problems and what you’re thinking about when you’re with Freya alone. Then, when you’re not with Freya, you’ll think about it, and even then, you still won’t tell me?” Marco asked, leaving Letta silent. Undoubtedly, doubt was still clearly visible in his wife’s eyes.

“What’s making you hesitant or afraid to tell me?” Marco asked again.

“I’m afraid that what I’m thinking might just burden you. I’m afraid that this might hinder your work or even your daily life. I don’t want to make you worried,” Letta replied.

“By seeing you like earlier, it even makes me worried about you and very concerned. So please, tell me anything that you are currently thinking. I believe I can handle it, whatever it may be. Why do you doubt what I can do now?” Marco asked, leaving Letta silent. Certainly, Letta did not doubt the power and strength that Marco held in his hands at the moment, but to recount it, Letta did not want to hinder Marco’s work and make him preoccupied, just like herself.

“I want to find that man,” Letta said, making Marco silent for a moment.

“What do you mean?” Marco asked, making Letta try to calm herself first, calming her voice that somehow felt very shaky.

“I want to find the man I met at the party a few days ago,” Letta said again, and of course, Marco could already guess that Letta wanted to meet Abian.

“So that’s what you’re thinking, you’re thinking about the man named Abian?” Marco asked.

“Yes, I want to meet him. Can I ask Pedro to find that man and find out what his job is, where he lives?” Letta asked, making Marco rub his face roughly.

“Why do you want to meet that man?” Marco asked, turning away from Letta. Letta walked back towards her husband, looking at Marco, and giving him her conviction.

“I want to know what he didn’t get to tell me. I want to know how close he is to me and what he knows about me,” Letta said, making Marco shake his head.

“No, I won’t do it,” Marco said plainly, making Letta stare at him witha questioning look.

“Why, why won’t you help me?” Letta asked again.

“It’s not that I don’t want to help you. I can do anything, treatment or any therapy to restore your memory, but not with that man,” Marco said.

“The reason, give me a reason why you forbid me to meet that man?” Letta said.

“Understand, Letta. We don’t even know that man. I’m afraid if he takes advantage of our situation, you know, it’s not one or two people who want to harm us and take advantage of any gap between us. I’m afraid he might be the same as those scoundrels, so never try to persuade me to meet him,” Marco said, now walking towards the dressing room, ignoring Letta who remained silent, staring at her husband’s sturdy back.
