Arrogant man
Letta rounded her eyes, gazing towards Marco who was now flashing his devilish smile.
“What?” Letta asked incredulously, causing Marco to approach her.
“Didn’t you hear that I will be staying in this apartment tonight?” Marco replied, making Letta shake her head. Of course, she wouldn’t just accept whatever the man in front of her wanted.
“No, no, no, you can’t sleep in this apartment. Besides, can’t you see there’s only one room here, and it’s cramped at that, definitely not suitable for you, right?” Letta said, making Marco smile again, which made Letta feel even more worried.
“Who said anything about another room in this apartment?” Marco said, causing Letta to look at him with a increasingly puzzled look.
“Of course we have to share a room, don’t we? Plus, in a few days we will be getting married,” Marco said, leaving Letta completely bewildered by what her former boss wanted, or perhaps one could say he was her fiance now. However, for Letta, Marco still couldn’t do as he pleased at the moment.
“And I refuse. It’s better for you to go back to your luxurious house right now and sleep on your soft bed rather than you having to squeeze with me on this narrow bed, which might make you uncomfortable,” Letta said, causing Marco to ignore her words. Marco then walked towards the door, which of course was the door to his room, prompting Letta to quickly follow. After that, she blocked Marco’s path, stretching her arms so that Marco couldn’t step forward again, let alone see the contents of Letta’s current room.
“I said I refuse, and you can’t just do as you please, because this is my apartment, and as you said, we’re only getting married in a few days. So in my opinion, you don’t have the right to act like this right now,” Letta said, causing Marco to fold his arms, looking at Letta standing in front of him, making Marco wonder why Letta wasn’t afraid of him. Despite her small stature and her height that only reached his chest, she would probably get hurt immediately if Marco just threw a punch.
However, at this moment, Letta truly challenged his sharp gaze, making Marco smile. It seemed that Marco was intrigued by this version of Letta.
“With or without your permission, I will still stay in this apartment, and in your room. Before I force my way in, so you better step aside,” Marco said, making Letta shake her head, still with her arms stretched out.
“Fine, if you’re being selfish, don’t blame me,” Marco said, then suddenly he lifted Letta and carried her straight into his room. However, the next moment, Marco fell silent as he truly saw the contents of the woman’s room in his arms. After that, he looked at Letta, who could only lower her face.
“I told you, you shouldn’t just barge into a woman’s room,” Letta said again, making Marco only look at the woman in his arms with an incredulous gaze. How could it be that behind the bed frame directly facing the apartment window, there were several intentionally hung underwear items, and not just one, but of various colors. That made Letta immediately struggle to get down, but once again Marco tightened his grip. This belongs to NôvelDrama.Org: ©.
“Don’t move recklessly. Do you want to fall? I can put you down gently, so stop moving,” Marco said again, making Letta finally go quiet. After that, Marco put Letta down, making Letta not stay silent anymore, then she immediately took her long strides to hide the deliberately hung underwear. Because that way, Letta hoped that the limited underwear would dry quickly. I don’t know where the idea came from, but that’s what Letta thought when she hung the underwear like that.
Letta then immediately stored them in the wardrobe, before finally looking back at Marco who was casually walking and sitting on the side of the bed.
“Are you comfortable sleeping in this small apartment?” Marco asked, which Letta could already anticipate all the ridicule that would come out of his mouth.
“I’ve advised you not to be stubborn. So, never blame me if you’re uncomfortable, or if you insist on it,” Letta said, then choosing to leave Marco, who was now examining every corner of the room. Letta currently needed to clean herself after coming home from work and having to deal with two men who made her feel increasingly drained. Letta didn’t care if Marco would immediately leave her apartment or anything he would do. What was clear was that Letta currently hoped Marco would truly retract his plan to stay in her apartment.
After spending a few minutes cleaning herself, Letta emerged from the bathroom. However, her steps halted when she saw Marco leaning and casually lying on her bed with a book in his hands. The next moment, Letta took her long strides again and snatched the book currently being read by Marco.
“Why are you touching other people’s belongings carelessly?” Letta said again, making Marco just look at her nonchalantly.
“So what? Are you ashamed because I found out that you like romantic novels favored by teenagers?” Marco retorted, making Letta click her tongue in annoyance. What’s wrong with romantic novels anyway? It’s not just teenagers who read them, she also needed entertainment to calm her mind, and one of the ways was by reading such romantic novels.
“What do I have to be ashamed of? I don’t like you touching my things,” Letta said, then she stored the book where she usually kept her book collection. They then stared at each other again.
“Why haven’t you gone home yet?” Letta asked, still hoping that Marco would retract his intention.
“I already said I’m going to sleep here, didn’t I? So, hurry up. You should rest too. It’s late, it’s not good for you to sleep too late,” Marco said, now really sprawling himself on Letta’s bed. His legs were even almost crossing the boundary of Letta’s small bed in the apartment. This made Letta already anticipate that the man would grumble again tomorrow morning because his body would surely feel sore. However, Letta just shrugged nonchalantly. After all, she had warned him, so don’t blame her if that happened to him.
However, when Letta was about to step back to approach the other side of the bed, Letta fell silent. That meant tonight she would sleep in the same bed with that man. This made Letta shake her head immediately. Of course, she had to be cautious with the arrogant man who was now trying to close his eyes nonchalantly, Letta thought.
