Agatha POV

I’m here now with the Montreal Company, a week since I got back here, I barely realized that years I’ve been lost in this place. I also bought my condo because it’s embarrassing for Zey when I still live in her unit.

“Hey Marcus!” I greeted him warmly as I entered his office.

“Oh you’re here.”

“Because you’re crazy, you know that I’ll just move to the condo I bought and I’m still arranging my things.” my language.

“Oh I didn’t know, Take a seat now.”

“So what should we talk about?” I asked him.

“We have a new investor who wants to invest in the company and another one wants to meet the Montreal architect and maybe he will hire you for the branch he will build.”

My forehead wrinkled. “So what do you want to happen?” I asked him.

“You talk to him because he also wants to get to know you.”

“Are you serious about what you are saying? You already mentioned to me that the client wants to invest in Montreal right? So I think you can talk to him since you are the CEO of this company. ” I said.

“He is one of the important investors Agatha and we have been trying to talk to him for a long time but only now he is interested and he seems to know you.”

I looked at him. “W-what? What do you mean Marcus? ” I wondered.

He just shrugged so I just sighed. “It looks like this person is important to the company so I’ll go ahead and deal with him, but I can’t promise that I’ll be able to convince him.” I said.

Marcus’ face quickly lit up because of what I said and he quickly hugged me. “Thank you Agatha, I know you can convince him.”

“Is that how you pressure me? I really can’t promise but I will do my best.” I said again.

“I know you can, you are the  architect and interior designer of our new resort and hotel so he became interested in investing, you seem to have impressed him. Don’t worry, when your conversation is okay, I’ll take care of other things. ”

“When?” I ask.

“Actually it’s today and I know he’ll be here soon.”

“I can’t believe it’s on the spot Marcus! You should have notified me last night, I wasn’t even prepared.” annoyed I promise.

He laughed. “You don’t have to prepare because you have nothing else to do, you just need to talk to him and convince him why he needs to invest in us and you can also show your sample designs.”

I stared at him, this person is really weird. Sometimes I wonder if he is really the CEO of Montreal.

I am wondering how important this investor is to the Montreal Company. As Marcus said earlier they already tried many times to talk to this person about investment but they failed. I already feel the pressure now, I don’t want to disappoint Marcus.

I first said goodbye to Marcus who was going to the comfort room to retouch because I didn’t want to face the haggard investor and maybe what else to think.Belongs © to NôvelDrama.Org.

I didn’t take long to go out, I met Marcus’ secretary. “Ma’am Agatha Sir is already calling you,” he said.

“All right, I’ll be there.” I promised him with a smile.

I was going straight to the conference room where the investor was, I was about to enter when I heard a familiar voice so I stopped.

It’s impossible if it’s him or maybe I’m just mistaken, a few seconds ago Marcus came out so I looked at me.

“The investor is already inside. I know you can do it. I trust you. Goodluck.” he said and continued to walk away.

I sighed and entered the conference room. I saw a man sitting so I walked close to him.

“Good morning sir.” I greet you with a smile.

But that smile disappeared immediately when I saw who was in front of me now. This is not happening! How come he’s the one Marcus said I would talk to?

My world almost stopped when it stared at me, how many times I swallowed because I couldn’t believe he was in front of me now.

“Long time no see Ms. Perez. ” he said coldly.

I couldn’t speak right away because I didn’t know what to tell him, but I remembered that Montreal where I work needed it so I needed to convince him.

“N-nice to see Mr. Hernandez again. Marcus told me that you are interested in investing in our company. If you don’t mind Sir I will discuss it with you now. And Marcus also mentioned to me that you want to personally meet the architect and designer of their hotel and resort. ” I promise even though the truth is I’m nervous.

“I didn’t know you were so formal to me now Agatha. And I didn’t think that you are the designer of the Montreal Company, you did a good job, ” he said seriously.

“Well, this is business Mr. Hernandez so I need to be formal. I can show some of my designs in Montreal and if you want to see my other blueprints and sample designs, we can go to my office. ” I smiled.

I saw him nod and took the folder I handed him, he opened it and looked at what was there. I hold my breath because of the extreme nervousness I feel because of the person in front of me now.

He later closed the folder. “Can I see a sample of your new works?” he asked me.

“Yes Sir, shall I get it or do you want us to go to my office?” I asked him.

“We can go to your office, you know time is gold.” he answered me and we left the conference together.

As we were walking a voice called to Ethan and as I looked back I saw a woman running towards him. When the woman approached him she hit Ethan. That’s why I raised an eyebrow to her. “Why did you leave me?” the woman said.

“You’re so slow that’s why.” Ethan answered.

Who is this woman?

I just ignored them and continued walking while the two of them followed me.

While we were in the elevator the woman looked at me. “Who is she?” he asked Ethan.

“Hi, I’m Agatha, the architect of the Montreal Company.” I introduce myself.

“Oh, it’s nice to finally meet you! You are the talk of town because the new design of resorts and hotels in Montreal are superb. And also you are so pretty. ” said the woman and smiled at me.

“Stop it Belle!” heard Ethan rebuke her.

When the elevator sounded the signal that we were on the floor where my office was. We walked into my office.

“You two sit down first and I’ll just take the sample designs for you to see.” I said smiling.

I took from my table the folders containing sample designs and other blueprints and showed it to them.

“Look at this Ethan, her works are beautiful. Why don’t we take her to our new branch so that she can take a look at it and she can suggest the theme or designs?” The woman said I think Belle is her name.

“I agree with you Belle.” Ethan said and looked at me. “Her designs are beautiful and well polished.”

“Those are the latest designs that I made because the others were taken by Montreal already.” I explained.

“I see, you impress me a lot Ms. Perez. I’ll talk to Mr. Montreal about the investment. ”

I can’t help but smile because it seems that I already convinced him, I just really hope I can close this deal.

I couldn’t help but stare at him while looking at the other samples I have. All I can say is that Ethan has changed a lot since the last time we met, he has become more mature and serious.

Over the past year I’ve heard that their business has become even more successful so I also can’t blame Marcus for why they want to gain Hernandez Company trust.

But who is the woman with him now? Why do they seem so close to each other? Couldn’t she be Ethan’s girlfriend?
