I’m with Gian here in the office now, we just finished attending a meeting so here we go straight to rest because we have nothing else to do.

“This life is really tiring, unlike before when we didn’t think about anything while we were studying.” Gian suddenly promised.

“That’s life you know, we need to study first to have work in the future. And now that we are at the right age we need to focus on life. The only difference between us and others is that we already have a job and our family’s company unlike others who still have to find a possible job that may fit their course or field. ” I promise.

“I agree! Anyway, how are you and Agatha? I remember that you told me last time that you already saw her again. ”

“As of now I can say that we’re pretty okay, we’re talking.” I answered him.

“Does she have a job now?”

I nodded. “Yes she told me last time that she is working, so she’s often busy.”

“Isn’t there still a vacancy here in your company? Why don’t you offer it to her, it will be more in your favor because you can be with her and watch over her. ”

“It’s not that easy, Gian, I don’t want her to think negatively about me, she doesn’t want to accept my help. She wants to be independent so I don’t want to be a dictator again with her plans and dreams. ” I said.

“I really admire Agatha, I never thought that she could survive after her mother died but now as I can see she would be able to live on her own.”

I smiled at what Gian said. “That’s why I’m so proud of her, because even without the help of others, her life went well. We know that after college, she immediately went to another country and worked there to provide for her daily needs. ”

I am not ashamed to say how I feel for Agatha in front of Gian because he is my best friend so he knows everything.

“Don’t you have any plans to confess to her about what you feel?”

I was stunned for a moment by Gian’s question and then sighed. “Right now I don’t even think about that. It’s not easy to confess and I don’t want her to mislead me again. ”

“I’m just worried that someone might court her and get ahead of you.”

“She already knows that I like her and I also know that she is still single until now, that’s okay with me. I need to get her heart and trust again, so that I can know what is happening in her life and it will be easy to know if someone is around her. ” I said seriously.

“You’re really smart.”

“Well, I’m from Hernandez family.” I proudly said.

“Anyway, I thought you were going to approach Darcey earlier.”

I laughed. “You are wrong. Why would I approach that woman? ” I said laughing.

“Why not? You’ve been in a relationship for almost 3 or 5 years right?.”

“Yeah we have been in a relationship for how many years but she just wasted it and you saw earlier that she was with another man. ” I said.

“Maybe you just don’t really know her or maybe she really loved you before that’s why she is loyal to you. Of course, there are many women chasing you and your brother and she is lucky because you became her boyfriend. ”

As the two of us chatted, the door suddenly opened and it spat out Maxine who was carrying something.

Gian immediately stood up and greeted her.

“Hey guys, did I bother you two? I thought of bringing you food. ” Maxine smiled.

“Our meeting is already done babe.” Gian replied.

All I know about these two is Gian courting her.

“Stop teasing me Ethan, just eat the food I bought.” Maxine burst out.

I got up from my seat and then approached the two of them.

“What did you bring with you? It looks delicious, did you cook this? ” I asked her.

She smiled. “Yes, because I woke up early so I thought about cooking and Gian said that you had a meeting earlier.” She answered.

“Wow! You are updated on Gian’s whereabouts.” I laugh while teasing her.

“Don’t be stuoid fucker and stop teasing her, as you can see her face is already turning red! It’s natural that she knows about the meeting since they asked me earlier. Not like you loving someone secretly.” Gian exclaimed.

Maxine’s eyes widened as she looked at me. “Really, Ethan? Do you have a girlfriend already? Is that what you told me when we were at the bar? ” She asked excitedly.

“Don;t mind what Gian is saying, you know he is annoying sometimes and talking nonsense. You already know that I don’t have a girlfriend.” I said.

We just ate what Maxine brought, she is really good at cooking because she studied HRM so it’s not surprising. The three of us just talked because Maxine didn’t want to eat because she was still full.

After we finished eating, Gian and Maxine left because they were going somewhere while I stayed in the office for a couple of minutes before going home. I want to lie down on my bed and rest because I feel tired.

From the moment I saw Agatha again, I felt comfortable. I thought she would walk away or hide after she left the house because she was angry with me but she wasn’t.

Fortunately, her friend was there to help her and offer a condo where Agatha temporarily lives.

Now I don’t have a hard time finding her because I know where I can find her. I don’t want to force her to go home so that we don’t fight anymore. What is important to me now is to see her in good shape and happy with whatever she is doing.
