The Wolf Who hated alphas

Chapter 22 – Karma of Two Clans

Sera fell asleep in the armchair next to the bed while waiting for Karim to wake up.

This time she saw a big tree with black roots, a feeling of terror took her chest.

“Soon you will be here and Ramesses cannot protect you. I touched you before he did. Before that of the lineage of my own.” – Lincoln Cohen came up behind her, squeezed her body.

“If I could not have you there, I would have what was her dearest loved one.” – she said in a deep voice and without emotion.

Sera choked a scream and looked at him, filled with hatred. Her eyes turned yellow and she growled, her wolf appearing behind her and pushing him away.

Sera woke up, panting and trembling.

“A nightmare? ” – she heard Karim’s voice next to her.

The young woman looked at him, frightened. She had forgotten that Karim was there.

“It’s nothing.” – she wrote, trying to calm down.

Karim took her hand, making her stop shaking.

She looked at him and for some reason, smiled.

“Does it happen often? The nightmares?” he asked softly, looking away.

Sera confirmed.

“Who do you dream about?” – he looked her in the eyes when asking and shook his hand.

“With the one who hurt me.”

Karim did not need more information to understand the culprit.

He shook her hand firmly and said:

“You know… I was taught to feel superior by being part of the clan that murdered yours.” – Karim looked away at the moment, embarrassed by that fact.

“I learned that we did something good by exterminating the Cohin. My father said that we got rid of the weed of wolves. The evil that corrupted our species. And that we should feel honored by it.”

Sera could not bear to hear that, remembering all the horror he had witnessed that day. Small tears ran down her face and she shook his hand even harder.

“I am sorry. I am not honored by the deeds of my clan. But I wished that the man who raised you could have gone in your mother’s place.”

“I too desired.” – Sera wrote, confessing.

“I should kill you.” – Karim looked into her eyes, causing Sera’s body to shiver.

“That’s what my father asked me. I don’t know and I don’t care why he hates your clan. But I won’t do that. I can’t. You’re my omega and it’s my duty to protect you. Even if he kills me.”

Sera hugged him. She trembled at the thought that this might happen. His body was hot, his jacket had been removed and she could feel his skin under his shirt.

She inspired her perfume, feeling her wolf there after so long, still weak, but there.Belongs to (N)ôvel/Drama.Org.

Karim hugged her back. Her wolf roared internally to protect her. He kissed her forehead and soon after, she pulled him in, kissing his mouth.

Karim pulled her into her lap and the kiss intensified. They parted, seeking air.

“I promise to protect you, Sera. I promise. Our families will no longer stand in our way. I promise. Even if I die.” – Karim said, stroking her face.

Sera looked at him with a worried look. I didn’t like to hear that coming out of his lips.

“I tried to hate you, you know? I really tried. But my wolf didn’t accept it. I can’t feel hatred for you any more than I try.

Sera stroked his face and smiled, lying on his chest.

“Thank you. We will unravel the mystery of our family. I promise you.” – she wrote.

She fell asleep next to him. In the short time they had been carefree. Even though several people had witnessed the kiss.

Cordelia could finally feel relief that tumultuous day. All the attacked students were stable and were already recovering.

She was tired everywhere to observe the evolution of things. Her school, reduced to total chaos. Now she would have to contact Elora Abiyoe anyway, which she did not like at all. But she was the only one who could help at the last minute.

The teachers were also injured and frightened. The principal wondered if her school would not be safer. But if there was not enough, how would they defend themselves from the outside?

Her attention was taken by the gate opening and Jae hyun enter by the same. Cordelia was surprised.

Could it be? But it made sense. Someone who entered high school right after Sera. That he kept a low profile and appeared at the right time and that some teachers did not remember. The informant finally revealed himself.

“Director.” – he greeted her.

“Please sit down, you are injured.” – she asked, seeing his state of torn clothes and wounds on his face and body.

He sat down, tired. The wounds were already healing, but still, Jae Hyun looked down.

“I believe you already know who I am.”

Cordelia agreed to this.

There was no one there at that time, the corridor next to the cabinets, empty.

“I am more than the informer. I am the primordial omega, his omega.” – he noted the damage that his alpha had caused.

The director stared at him in shock. Looking at the wounds. It was no wonder the man looked down. There were more than physical wounds there. He also had wounds in his soul.

She couldn’t imagine the pain in one omega and alpha fighting each other. There was more than a body connection there, it was a soul connection. Something spiritual.

When a destined alpha and omega fought each other, they not only created physical and emotional wounds but marks embedded in their own soul, full of pain and guilt.

For sure, Kallias and Jae Hyun were not in a good state of mind at the time. Cordelia admired their resilience.

She helped, Jae Hyun to take care of his injuries. It was the least she could do. However, there was not much use in such an act, since the wounds were almost not visible.

Jae hyun thanked the help and the glass of water offered.

“We have to act. Kallias has already entered here in a way I didn’t realize. He can do much more. We’ll have to increase our defenses. I didn’t know how far he went. A whole school, well, I shouldn’t be surprised. I ended up overestimating the protection of this place.”

Cordelia swallowed in bag upon hearing such a phrase, but remained quiet, shaking her hands lightly in irritation for hearing the truth.

She took a deep breath when an intense gale entered the school. It was soft, but powerful and brought terror wherever it went.

Awake, Jae Hyun stood up.

“Kallias.”

A shadow appeared in humanoid form. And all could hear his deep voice. But in some people’s minds it was more powerful, more challenging.

“When our world is falling apart, you will beg for my help. Especially the sinners of the great clans.”

That said, the gale was gone and Jae hyun knew he should start acting.
